“Hostage seen in Hamas video confirmed dead by Israel”
“One day after Israeli hostage Cpl. Noa Marciano appeared in a Hamas propaganda video, the Israel Defense Forces cleared for publication on Tuesday morning that the 19-year-old had already died in captivity.
Marciano, a resident of Modi’in in central Israel, was abducted from Kibbutz Nahal Oz, where she served as a lookout.
On Monday night, Hamas released a video of Marciano which the Israel Defense Forces described as “psychological terror.” The video claimed that Marciano was killed in an airstrike in Gaza.
“After analyzing the footage, experts suggest that her injuries do not align with those typically sustained in airstrikes,” the IDF said in a statement. “The observed wounds appear more consistent with bullet injuries, and there is also an indication that she may have suffered from injuries related to a fall from a height.”

To place ANY blame on her for her death is like blaming a rape victim for being raped.

Her humanitarian work didn’t contribute to her murder, but her putting herself in harms way and working for their (the Palis’) benefit did! There are a lot of other deserving people in the world that she could have gone to serve – like elderly Russian Jews who are destitute to this day. Instead, of all the people in the world, she had to pick muslims. I have no idea whether she knew what we know about islam, and depending on that, she may or may not deserve the benefit of doubt. But if she did know how venal muslims are courtesy islam, it’s fair not to show her any sympathy for making a pretty stupid call!

She may have been murdered by people she tried to help but that in no way contributed to her murder. She IS AN ACTUAL VICTIM by any definition and certainly no less than a rape victim.
Her good works and admirable life are not diminished and any attempt to tarnish her memory in this way is shameful.

How do you conclude that she put herself in harm’s way? By being Jewish and living in Israel in a Kibbutz near Gaza? She was IN NO WAY at fault.
That her attempts at promoting peace and helping cancer-inflicted Gazans get to medical appointments may not have built any bridges but it was noble and kind of her anyway.
