The “nonpartisan” poll actually comes from a Democrat Jewish voter turnout organization.
Media and social media influencers are promoting a fake Democrat poll touting massive Jewish support for Biden.

NPR claims that, “Nearly three-quarters of Jewish Americans said they approve of President Biden’s response to Israel’s war against Hamas, in a new survey by the Jewish Electorate Institute, which calls itself “an independent, non-partisan organization dedicated to deepening the public’s understanding of Jewish American participation in our democracy.”
Note the careful language. JLI “calls itself “an independent, non-partisan organization”.
What is the Jewish Electorate Institute really?
Its site only lists the board members, who include former Democrat congressman Martin Frost. The actual paperwork however reveals that the Jewish Electorate Institute’s executive director is Halie Soifer.
Halie Soifer is the executive director of the Jewish Democratic Council of America.
The Jewish Democratic Council of America and Halie Soifer heavily promoted the JLI poll without revealing that it’s just a nonprofit front group for the Democrats.
The JDCA shamelessly put out a press release announcing a “just released poll from the non-partisan Jewish Electorate Institute”
The Jewish Electorate Institute poll was conducted by GBAO Strategies which boasts of being 2022’s Democratic Pollster of The Year.
So the “nonpartisan” poll is actually a poll from a top Democrat pollster on behalf of a Democrat Jewish voter turnout operation.
The failure of media organizations like the JTA and NPR to report it is another piece of evidence that people really need to stop trusting what they see there. (You may think that’s obvious, but multiple ‘right-wing’ social media influencers promoted this same poll, so clearly it needs to be said.)
But let’s quickly look at the poll itself.
In a predictable fashion, it dramatically oversamples leftists. One way to do that is by screening out religious people.
The poll’s breakdown has only 9% Orthodox Jews and 31% people of no religious denomination who tend to be the furthest to the Left and the most anti-Israel.
Having ensured that most of the people they’re asking are either Reform or irreligious, the JLI/JDCA/GABO poll gets the intended results.
The poll shows that 77% of Reform Jews and 71% of irreligious Jews will support Biden. While 65% of Orthodox Jews will support Trump.
That is what happens when you structure your poll to get the results you want.
“But the real tip-off that this poll is a Democrat operation meant to serve the party’s ends comes with the strange decision to poll support for ‘No Labels’. No Labels is considering a third-party bid potentially involving Sen. Joe Manchin. While No Labels is virtually unknown to most people, Dem operatives are obsessed with destroying it to protect Biden.)
This is a Democrat push poll that relies on the Hamas war to seemingly boost Biden’s poll numbers among Jews while shaping the sample so that it manufactures the appearance of overwhelming support for the Democrat candidate.
Polls like this from Democrat front groups appear every election season and no one learns anything from the experience.
And while I know it’s received wisdom that 70% or some similar number of Jews vote for Democrats, exit polls tend not to account for Jews except in a few select areas, national polling organizations rarely poll Jews and the political polls of Jews are pretty universally conducted by liberal groups with an agenda.
Like this one.
We don’t have good solid numbers on how Jews really vote. But that won’t stop people from believing what they want to believe.

Proving again what Mark Twain stated and that is that there are lies, there are damn lies and then there are statistics.
Statistics can be manipulated even more easily than outright lies can be. Twain knew this. Boy did he ever. And as demonstrated here by this article at JW.

Is it anything close to 50-50 like it ought to be? Ideally, it should be 90-10 in favor of the GOP, given that the Dems are pro-jihad, allowing for 10% of Jews to be complete traitors

Hey there Infidel,
Normally, I don’t comment on blogs, but the community on Jihadwatch seems to really have their heads on straight and views the world with common sense, so I figure I’ll leave this comment.
I myself am an Orthodox Jew and I proudly state that the majority of Orthodox Jews can’t stand the Democrat party and although the Republican Party isn’t great it’s the much better alternative between the two. Most Orthodox Jews were very pro Trump. That being said, there are many different strains of Jews even within the Orthodox community, let alone Jews as a whole (as the common saying goes, with 2 Jews in a room you’ll get 3 opinions).
All in all, I and many Jews in my community, are very embarrassed by the number of irreligious Jews that are on the Left. Not all of them of course but even 1 is far too many, but you’ll be hard pressed to find any Orthodox Jews that are on the Left.
All the best to you my fellow infidel.

well said @Mordy
My (Modern) Orthodox community either leans right, or don’t discuss politics at all, at least for the 50ish years I remember.
When our kids go off to school, sadly they can get infected by the liberal mind virus, but they usually come back around.

Thank you for weighing in, Mordy.
Great to have someone with your perspective.

All I grew up with all are very much Biden supporters

This is one Jew who will never vote for Biden. I doubt seriously I would ever vote for a Democrat again.

Wait, did someone actually believe an NPR poll was gonna be “bipartisan?”
