Pro-Palestinian demonstrations are not merely exercising their freedom of expression, and they certainly are not peaceful. But this fact is not recognized by their supporters.
Pro-Palestinian protests in the West are an expansion of the jihad “resistance.” They are intended to use Western freedoms to promote revolution. The chant “from the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” is presented as harmless, but it is a call to obliterate Israel from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, an anarchic call to violence and murder — as was demonstrated by ISIS-like Hamas on October 7.
The defensive war that Israel must wage, given the gravity of October 7 and the determination of Hamas to kill its citizens and obliterate its state, is a just war, and it is not the business of other countries to demand a ceasefire. World War II was fought to push back the malign forces of an axis of evil. It became, in fact, the largest and deadliest conflict in human history. Israel is a sovereign nation, waging a justifiable war for its very existence given the stated goals of Hamas, and more broadly, the jihad, to obliterate it. It doesn’t stop there either. The belief system behind Hamas is a Muslim Brotherhood ideology which seeks global conquest. Germany has criminalized the chant “from the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free,” because the chant is indeed criminal.
Use of the slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is now being prosecuted in Germany as a criminal offense punishable by imprisonment of up to three years or a fine.
The Czech Republic is poised to follow suit.
Western countries are not the Palestinian territories where Islamic supremacism rules, Jews are targets for murder, jihadists are paid by the government to slay Jews, the rule of law is trampled, and propaganda runs wild. No one who understands what the Palestinian “resistance” is truly about would support its hatred and violence on Western soil.

The U.K., France, Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic and Austria are just some European nations that have imposed strict measures on the people who wish to publicly condemn Israel’s occupation of Gaza and its killing of more than 12,000 Palestinians in Gaza, including approximately 5,000 children,
Many human rights groups, including Amnesty International, have criticized the attitudes of European authorities that have imposed these restrictions, arguing that they violate freedom of expression.
Amnesty has said that peaceful protests against Israel cannot be seen as a security issue.
According to the organization, banning pro-Palestinian demonstrations, harassing or detaining those expressing their views on the matter and warning that foreigners who participate in such activities may be deported do not comply with human rights.
The group further said that some countries, including Austria, the Czech Republic and Germany, have been blocking the EU from collectively calling for a cease-fire or calling out violations of international humanitarian law by Israeli security forces….

Canada’s direction on this issue will be settled by Justin Trudeau’s newly appointed Muslim Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Arif Virani (Parkdale-High Park). Toronto is home to North America’s largest Muslim population so it will be ‘interesting’ to see how this situation evolves.

Germany has also banned the Horst Wessel Song, which had become the Nazi Party’s anthem. Banned perhaps, but not forgotten. There remain a lot of odious types in Germany who still remember it; maybe they even hum it now and then.

Could we please, please stop calling them “Pro Palestinian” protestors? This is part of the problem. Let’s call them what they are: Anti-Israel/Jew protestors or even Pro-Hamas would be better. Why should they get the assumption of innocence with such a misleading name?

Let the marketplace of ideas (and rational examination of the history, life of the founder, Quran and Hadith) debate the merits or not of Islam. Not the government by banning speech. I dislike it when I see support for censorship by those versed in the danger of Islam. Is the Quran hate speech? It is. Is Islam fundamentally supremacist? Yes. But let the sunlight of education expose what is valuable, not silencing any voices (as long as not electric and at 04:30) or coercive, fraudulent or violates private property
