Austria: Muslim migrant threatens Viennese hairdresser with knife because he didn’t like a poster

The hairdresser was “Islamophobic” not to acquiesce meekly and apologize for the poster.

Because he didn’t like a poster in the window of a hairdresser’s shop in Vienna-Brigittenau, a Syrian stormed into the bar and tore it down. When the boss and her employee confronted him, the refugee pulled out a knife and threatened them both.

The migrant from Syria (34) entered the hairdressing salon in Vienna-Brigittenau around 9 a.m., didn’t say a word and tore a poster out of the display there. When the 53-year-old managing director (53) and her employee (19) wanted to confront the unknown man, he suddenly pulled out a knife and threatened them.

The victims managed to force the Syrian out of the business. They blocked the front door and called the police. Due to the very precise description of the perpetrator, the officers were able to stop the suspect a few streets away.

The refugee was temporarily arrested on suspicion of dangerous threats. He had a folding knife in his jacket pocket, which was confiscated. Since the Syrian was already banned from carrying weapons, he was reported for violating the weapons law.

The suspect did not want to provide any information during the interview. He was subsequently released from custody and reported to be at large.
