Local sources in Khost Province are reporting new restrictions and warnings issued by the Taliban to users of social media pages in the region.
Reliable sources on Wednesday, November 15, revealed that a joint team from the Taliban’s Department for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, along with the Crime Fighting Management, has initiated the tracking, apprehension, and punishment of social media users in Khost.
According to these sources, the Taliban’s joint team has cautioned social media users against disseminating content contrary to the group’s policies, particularly content critical of or satirical about the Taliban.
Sources emphasize that the Taliban, through their relevant pages and public address systems in the city, have warned of serious consequences for users of social media pages who do not comply with these directives….

People think the Taliban is an extreme group that enacts the strict rules of the Koran, well that is true but its actually sharia law that this group is enforcing upon the people and what you see is doctrine in real life.
Taliban is sharia law, get a copy of Reliance of the Traveller: Islamic Sacred Law aka sharia. The truth becomes better understanding.

Yes, in the end it all becomes an absurdity. It’s interesting that most religions revere (whether conceived / perceived as being created or beyond creation) the sensed / realized ‘sanctity of life’ (life arising in and of itself when conditions / circumstances are right) and take gifts and living things – flowers / shrubs etc- as their offerings to the places of worship. I believe everyone senses some kind of ‘purity’ in their lives that they somehow strive to realize. But, Islam seems to go in the other direction! – taking away the only thing people know of. I guess I’m stating the obvious when it’s so hideous – taking it a bit further, they are kind of violating their lives without knowing it – they look a miserable bunch, actually. How this thing called ‘Islam’ (submitting) evolved and spread from one person’s (whilst meditating – meditating on what?) supposed claim of receiving the word of god in a cave is a disturbing – maybe one chance in a million. Interesting how early Arabic life – man as king, women as sex objects etc – seems to be embedded in Muhammad’s ‘submit or else’ revelation. Seems the experience was the mirror image of himself, his own character etc – nothing transcendental or sublime here. It definitely seems ‘home grown and earthbound’. I know I’m stating the obvious – but what is disturbing and frightening, for me, at least, is that militants will threaten perceived violators of this do or die ‘authority instilled’ thingo with punishment / death etc. I know I’m a bit too philosophical – my apologies – but (stating the obvious yet again) don’t religions revere /nurture ‘life’ rather than stamping on it / damning it? Just my thoughts – sorry for lengthy surmising! Regards
