Al-Jazeera Network (Qatar) aired an audio recording of Deputy-Chairman of Hamas’s Political Bureau Saleh Al-Arouri on October 12, 2023, in which he stated that Hamas does not target civilians. He elaborated that any civilians that were killed in Israeli kibbutzim and settlements, were killed during clashes between Al-Qassam Brigades and Israeli guards, soldiers, and armed civilians. Al-Arouri added that Hamas’s Al-Qassam Brigades only captured soldiers, but ordinary residents of Gaza tagged along with Hamas, and they were the ones who captured civilians and brought them back to Gaza.

I have read some where that the electronic monitored wire was hacked and the system was jammed. Still unable to believe that people in trucks and bulldozer were crossing the Israel border and no drone could pickup any of that.
Egyptian warning was also ignored. Many people don’t know that the current regime in Egypt hates muslim brotherhood and hamas. So they have their own interest in not wanting hamas to attack.
Agreed. Further investigation should be done but I doubt anything fruitful will come out of that.

He just made the case for Israel completely leveling Gaza. If ordinary citizens of Gaza were the ones who abducted the Israelis, then there’s no reason for Israel to even try to reduce civilian casualties, since civilians were the ones doing the crimes and were not non-combatants here

What he didn’t say was Israel elderly people, women and children were not civilian, because they were Israelis. The same way muslims say that Islam doesn’t condone killing innocent people, but never mention that all non muslims are not innocent because they are non muslims.
