There would be peace in the Middle East if Israel just ended its occupation, right?
That’s what the Squad wants you to think, anyway. The statements of the three primary members of this winsome leftist House coalition on the Hamas massacres in Israel had the distinct odor of canned talking points. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-Make Mine A Double) issued a statement that said, “I condemn Hamas’ attack in the strongest possible terms.” That was a good start, but she then turned on a dime to blame it all on Israel: “No child and family should ever endure this kind of violence and fear, and this violence will not solve the ongoing oppression and occupation in the region.” Ongoing oppression and occupation, see? If Israel would just ease up on the poor Palestinians, Hamas jihadis would all open restaurants and shops, and peace would dawn upon the region.
Not to be outdone, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Mogadishu) tweeted, “We know occupation and systematic apartheid are a violation of international law and it must end.” The Larry of this illustrious triumvirate (in case you’re wondering, Ilhan is Moe, the mean one, and AOC is Curly, the funny one), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Ramallah), chimed in with this: “I grieve the Palestinian and Israeli lives lost yesterday, today, and every day. I am determined as ever to fight for a just future where everyone can live in peace, without fear and with true freedom, equal rights, and human dignity. The path to that future must include lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance.”
So all three are in agreement: Israel’s occupation is the problem. It’s a shame that we don’t have any real journalists today, because someone should ask the same question to all three of them: “If Israel is occupying Palestinian land, can you please explain the basis in international law for Palestinian ownership of this land?” They all likely assume that there was a previous Palestinian state that the Israelis occupied and destroyed, but in reality, there has never been a Palestinian state of any kind, ever, at any point in history. There has been a region known as “Palestine” since 134AD, when the Romans applied that name to the land that had previously been known as Judea, that is, land of the Jews. But “Palestine” was akin to “Staten Island” — it was only the name of a region, never of a people or a nation.

So the Israelis have to end their ‘occupation’ of the Lands of Palestine, do they?. That’s very strange, because I always thought that the Israelis (or their forebears) were as indigenous to the region as the so-called ‘Palestinians’ (aka ‘Philistines’, or whatever they called themselves in the past) have ever been, and have always had more to show for themselves than our Friends of the Sword and Crescent; didn’t the Israelis actually build Jerusalem in the first place, not the ‘Palestinians’? So, if civilised cohabitation is such a huge problem, why don’t the Palestinians just get up and leave? After all, their Brothers in the Faith of the Great-And-Mighty-Prophet-Who- Must-Be-Obeyed-Throughout-The- Universe seem to be making quite a success of installing themselves and making themselves most (un)welcome in any location on planet where there are already decent, successful people to be criminally abused and exploited in the name of the perverted Self-Projection-In-The-Sky who told them that the earth and all that is in it is theirs, the Best of People.

The people who are currently called “the Palestinians” are not related to the ancient Philistines. The ancient Philistine were an Aegean seafaring people who invaded southwest Israel over two thousand years ago and who were enemies of the people of Israel. The Romans renamed Judea (Yehouda) and Samaria to the name “Syria Palaestina,” in reference to the Philistines after the Romans destroyed Judea and committed genocide against the Jewish (Yehoudi) people about two thousand years ago. The people who are currently called “the Palestinians” are descendents of Arab people who migrated to that land soon after the Muslim conquest of that land, and are largely descendants of Arab people who migrated to that land in the early 20th century after the Zionist Jewish resettlement of that land.

I remember my four visits to the 24 communities in Gaza that the Israeli’s built since 67′. They were welcomed by the local arabs with bread and salt, and I remember Anita Tucker, a farmer who emigrated there then, mentioned that these arabs were glad to have someone try to work the desert and maybe there would be jobs for the arabs too. Well they did all that, and wound up living behind fences because the muslims who took over control commanded attacks upon the jews. I held an unexploded missile launched at Gush Katif back in 04′ the Apartheid that exists is in fact the one that the Jews live under. Surrounded by Arab muslim nations that will not let them live in peace. It was just so in the Gazan jewish towns that were so successful, so hardworking and no threat to gazans at all in any way. But their modest hardworking success was too much for the PLO, the PA, for Hama, for…. Islam. And then the ‘right-wing’ gov of Sharon gave it all up to the arabs for ‘peace’. And since then, nothing but rockets death and the Apartheid that Israeli’s live under until the Abraham Accords arrived to bring some sanity to this absurd equation. The muslims could not allow such to stand. There should be a call for Crimes against Humanity for what was done to those innocent civilians in Israel- butchered, slaughtered, taken as hostage bait. Throwing missiles up indiscriminately into civilian areas is against the laws of warfare, but they’ve let that go on no for so long that it’s ignored. And yet the Iranians made the call to lead the OIC in such tribunals against the Israeli crimes against humanity just yesterday. And the world should have laughed, sneered and excoriated them and anyone who believed any of that…. but yet, still the silence of the crickets.

As long as islam exists, there will never be peace in this world. The level of hatred towards all non-believers expressed in that evil book, the Koran, ensures that sad truth. If Muslims ever talk about peace, they only mean that when all people have given up and become Muslim, then there will be peace. islam and peace, love or the Golden Rule where people treat other people with kindness are complete opposites. Morally islam and Nazism, that other hate-filled ideology, and also Communism, all are on a par. All totally evil garbage.

That is true, More Ham Ed. The left wing people that I know certainly know bugger all about islam and have certainly not read the Koran or done anything to learn what islam is all about. Until I bothered to try to find out what islam was all about i knew nothing about its foul nature. On islam, the left seem to want to remain ignorant and keep believing in their fantasy view of what islam is all about
