Cynthia McKinney, Ph.D., Even Dumber Than She Looks 

A little more than a month ago, well before the present Hamas war with Israel began, I posted a piece on Cynthia McKinney, entitled “Cynthia McKinney: Just as Dumb As She Looks.” It was a serio-comical piece on the former Congresswoman from Georgia, who served six terms in the House of Representatives, and her demented anti-semitism. But she has gone on the social media warpath again. When this present conflict began, she wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), with apparent approval: “Hezbollah issued the following statement[:] Hezbollah congratulates the Palestinian people, the resistance fighters, and the heroic Palestinian factions, especially our dear brothers in the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, on the wide-scale operation.” Then she added happily: “Massive Attack Against Israel Launched by Palestine!”

That was just the latest. Since the beginning of October, she has been sharing on X posts that she’s liked written by others (perhaps composing her own posts is largely now beyond her). Every single one of them has to do with Jews. Former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney shared a number of antisemitic posts on X throughout the beginning of October.

One of the posts that McKinney shared claimed that “Jews promised to murder Xtians…they boast that they murdered Christ…so Christ followers no biggy to Jews. World, we have a problem!”

Where did Jews “promise to murder Xians”? And what’s with this impolite spelling “Xians”? After searching the Internet, I can’t find anything to that effect in any Jewish scripture, any speeches by rabbis, any book of Jewish lore. I do find, however, lots of hair-raisingly antisemitic texts by certain people who called themselves Christians — St. John Chrysostom in his homilies entitled Adversus Judaeos, Martin Luther in “The Jews and Their Lies,” and so many others, but even they did not accuse Jews of “promising to murder Xians.” This is definitely Nazi material, the kind of thing you could find in Julius Streicher’s Der Stürmer. And Jews do not “boast that they murdered Christ.” They know, just as all historians know, that it was the Romans, who condemned Christ to die; he was regarded as a potential threat to their earthly power in Judea. Has Cynthia McKinney forgotten that Herod transferred Jesus to the custody of Pontius Pilate, to do with him as he wished? She’s apparently not much interested in history; conspiracy theories are so much more fun.

In another repost by McKinney, it was claimed that “Jews and Israel love trafficking organs, children and women, murderers, slavery black and white, genocide Muslims and other countries worldwide, lies, manipulations, pedophilia and sex offenders, funding training azoz nazis and al-Qaida….”

Every word in that reposting is nonsense. Neither Jews nor Israelis traffic in organs, nor in human trafficking of children and women. They are not all “murderers,” and in fact, Jews have the lowest murder rate of any ethnic or religious group in the United States and Western Europe. The writer of the post just piles on every conceivable charge against “the Jews,” each one more absurd than the next. Cynthia McKinney, Ph.D. is glad to bring that post to the attention of her followers on X. The Jews, she thinks, kill “children” — but for some reason, there was no mention of Jews killing those children to use their blood in making matzos — the “blood libel” that goes back to William of Norwich and Hugh of Lincoln. Apparently these Jews are a murderous contrast to the peaceful Muslims we see all around us in the world today.

The Jews, too, are involved in both black and white slavery — according to the post she so admired — to a greater degree than other ethnic groups. How does Cynthia McKinney know the post is correct on that score? Oh, she’s read that book put out by Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam — The Secret Relations Between Blacks and Jews — that tells the terrifying truth about Jewish slaveowners, a truth that no one else recognized until Louis Farrakhan and his fellow scholars at the Nation of Islam came along to set the record straight.

“They [the Jews] traffic in lies and manipulations”? Which ones? Give us just one example, Ms. McKinney.

“They are sex maniacs and perverts, who practice pedophilia.” What pedophilia? Is Ms. McKinney perhaps confusing Jews with some Catholic priests? Or does she think that all Jews are like that some madrassa teachers who keep being in the news for the sexual abuse of their pupils?

They “fund and train” the Nazis and Al-Qaida. But only an idiot could believe that. The Nazis spent practically every waking minute thinking up ways to murder all of Europe’s Jews. What Jew would “fund and train” the Nazis? And while Al-Qaida believes in killing all Infidels, it has a special animus for the hated Jews. Again, how is it possible to claim that Jews “fund and train” the members of Al-Qaida, even though a moment’s thought would have made McKinney realize that both the Nazis then, and Al Qaida now, want to murder Jews, and it would have been impossible for Jews to have funded or trained members of either group? This is piling an absurd Pelion upon a ridiculous Ossa.

Another of the posts that McKinney shared, on October 4, included images of alleged Jewish involvement in the African slave trade….

This business of Jews involved in the slave trade has long been an antisemitic staple. There is no evidence that Jews were involved in the Atlantic slave trade more than any other ethnicity. The evidence — see such historians as David Brion Davis — suggests that they were less involved. This charge was first made in a Nation of Islam work of pseudo-scholarship entitled The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews. Here’s a sample– one paragraph — of that multi-volume work’s nonsense:

Volume Two of The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews reveals that as merchants and businessmen, Jews gained much in a repressive Jim Crow society. In fact, this new book answers the provocative question, If Blacks did not receive the 40 acres and a mule, then who did? Jews openly spoke of the benefits of scapegoating Blacks in the South, and Jewish politicians helped create and enforce the Jim Crow laws that kept Blacks from developing an economic foundation. Jews even altered the practice of their religion to accommodate the racist Southern traditions. Jewish merchants in the post-Civil War South were leaders in the financial exploitation of the newly freed slaves, targeting the Black cotton sharecroppers and growing extremely wealthy in the process. Many notable Jewish families and institutions, including the Lehman Brothers, Neiman Marcus, and even the infamous Rothschild family of international bankers, can trace their wealth to the cotton fields of the American South. Under Jewish leadership, AFL unions became the instrument of white working-class racism and began systematically forcing Black workers out of a variety of occupations they once dominated. Many Jewish labor officials fought for government policies that sought the total removal of Asians from American soil. Shockingly, Jews were found collaborating with and even financing such racial terrorists as the Ku Klux Klan. Jews became Klan members and some even supplied the Klan with guns, sheets, and hoods. When lynchings and massacres occurred in America, Jewish leaders often praised those outrages, and some in the Jewish press cheered them on.

Needless to say, neither Lehman Brothers, nor Neiman Marcus, nor any member of the Rothschild family, got their start in the cotton fields in the American south. Save for a single exception, the International Ladies’ Garment Workers Union (ILGWU), Jews did not lead any union. Jews had no role in the Chinese Exclusionary Act. Jews were not members, but victims, of the Ku Klux Klan. They did not “supply the Klan with guns, sheets, and hoods.” Nor is any Jewish leader known to have praised lynchings and massacres of blacks. All of this is so obviously crazy, the work of lunatics, but apparently not crazy enough for Cynthia McKinney, who was apparently convinced by the same work, put out by the Nation of Islam, to believe that Jews controlled the slave trade. There was one ethnic group that, far more than any other, was involved in the slave trade in black Africans. Cynthia McKinney fails to mention them, fails to repost tweets by others on the subject. These were the Muslim Arabs, who completely dominated the East African slave trade, a trade that began far earlier, and ended much later, and claimed millions more victims, than the Atlantic Slave Trade of the Europeans. Do you think Cynthia McKinney would ever dare to recognize that ineluctable fact? No, of course not.

In other posts from the former Democrat, she shared an article claiming that “The Zionist regime was the prime force behind the 9/11 attacks, and that Israeli spies working for Mossad were celebrating the burning Twin Towers.”

Yes, of course. We know. “Jews didn’t show up to work at the Twin Towers that day.” Except, of course, they did. Look at the list of those who died. And the “Zionist regime” was not the “prime force” behind the 9/11 attacks; it had nothing to do with them. The first person killed on 9/11, as he tried to foil the attackers, was an Israeli scientist and entrepreneur, Danny Lewin, one of the founders of Akamai Technologies. It was not Zionists, but Al-Qaeda’s Arab leaders, Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri, who had been planning for months to unleash a major terrorist attack on the Americans. And the hijackers had such names as Satam al Suqami, Wail al Shehri, Waleed al Shehri, Abdul Aziz al Omari, Ahmed al Ghamdi, Hamza al Ghamdi, Mohand al Shehri, Majed Moqed, Salem al Hazmi, Saeed al Ghamdi, Ahmad al Haznawi, Ahmed al Nami, and Mohammad Atta, not Cohen, or Levy, or Goldstein.
