JAKARTA, Sept 20 (Reuters) – An Indonesian court sentenced a woman to two years in prison this week for violating the country’s blasphemy law after she posted a video on social media site TikTok in which she said a Muslim prayer before eating pork….
Lina Lutfiawati, also known as Lina Mukherjee, who identifies as being Muslim according to court documents, posted a video TikTok in March in which she said the prayer, which translates to ‘in the name of God’, before eating crispy pork skin.
The court in the Indonesian city of Palembang, on Sumatra island, sentenced Lina for her actions on Tuesday and found she deliberately “spread information that was intended to incite hate or individual/group enmity based on religion,” according to a court document.
It ordered her to pay a fine of 250 million rupiah ($16,249.59)….

Were those court documents genuine in claiming that she identifies as muslim? Also, Lina’s first lastname is Indonesian, but the latter is Indian. So which one is she exactly? Was she an Indonesian who married an Indian, or an Indian who married an Indonesian? Did she convert to islam after marriage, or remain muslim despite marriage?
Of course, there is that added detail that these geniuses need to document what they are doing on TikTok, and then using that evidence against them is a slam dunk

What a weird thing for her to have done. But two years in jail is insanely severe. It does show that no Muslim country is moderate at all. “Moderate” Indonesia. Yeah, right. Of course, no doubt the Taliban and other hardline Muslim scum would have stoned her to death for such a terrible crime. islam is primitive, backward garbage and should have no place in the modern, enlightened world. islam seems to be obsessed with trivial nonsense.

There’s no rocket science here, either you agree with Muslims that Allah is our god and we all must live according to their laws, or we fight them until one side wins and the other is defeated.

YEs, that’s it in a nutshell, Fitna. Them or us. There is no getting along with Muslims. It has been a long war already with the Muslims and now, with so many of this enemy invading western countries, it is a bigger threat we face. There is nothing in barbaric, primitive islam that I want anything to do with I loathe that regime that runs China but i can understand why they have become so tough with the Muslims there. No doubt they had the usual terrorism from the Muslims and had had enough. The trouble is that the Chinese regime would also like to stomp all over the freedoms of all democratic western countries as well. I loathe the Chinese regime and I loathe islam. I can find nothing good in either of them. I do hope that someday all the non-Muslims do get tough with islam and smash the evil ideology.

If I am not wrong Islam’s food laws are not absolute in the sense that if Halal food is not available the Muslim can eat whatever.
Muhammad himself from time to time is claimed to have eaten food deemed to be haram. So what is the problem? Are you judges putting the Messenger of Allah in a bad light to let your own self-righteousness shine?
What exactly was her crime, to follow the example of the Messenger of Allah or to Give Allah thanks for sustenance? Should Allah only be thanked for halal food but not for haram food that may be the only way of surviving?
In Islam there is no free will, as everything has been preordained by Allah. In other words the “court” punishes the young lady for doing what essentially Allah has made her do! Is the court ruling against Allah? Or can it hide behind the notion that the court too has no mind or will of its own but rules exactly as Allah has preordained?
Intellectually the entire “religion” of Islam makes no sens at all!
