One objective of Islamic law is to establish Muslims as a superior class with rights and privileges above those of other people. This call for a special prayer space in the parliament building of a secular republic makes sense in that context.

While speaking to the media, the 93-year-old politician said, “Naye Sansad mein Namaz ke liye bhi jagah honi chahiye (There should be a space for offering Namaz in the new Parliament). “
“There is no space to offer Namaz in this new Parliament building as well. There should have been space for prayer for Muslims in the new building at least to do ‘Allah Allah’ at the time of Namaz. But they have spread hate against Muslims. Do you think they will provide space for us?” Rahman was heard saying….

People need to learn Islam real history and what Islam has been doing for 1400 years. Groups, like the Taliban, are Islam Militias doing what Islam has been doing for centuries – waging non-stop war. Look at Islam citizen did in Syria when the Assad’s tried to protect women and non-Islam citizens. And Mosques are government facility often put in places where Islam is successful in its war on people.

The term “shar’iah law” is a misnomer. Shari’ah–the straight path–is the embodiment of Islamic law.
