On September 6, the French government ban on the abaya in public schools went into effect. And that very day, a Muslim girl in Clermont-Ferrand showed up at her school wearing an abaya. She managed to enter the school that day, but was soon sent home. On the next day, she again appeared in an abaya, and this time was sent home before she could even enter the school. Later that day, her enraged father telephoned the school, speaking first to a guard and then to an educational advisor, making threats of “decapitation of death” against the principal of the school. The principal is now under 24-hour police guard. And the father has been arrested. Dozens of Muslim pupils across the country were stopped from attending lessons after they turned up wearing the full-body tunic [the abaya].
The father [in Clermont-Ferrand] has been arrested for allegedly making death threats to its headmaster.
Her father [of the girl turned away from the school on September 7] then telephoned the school and spoke first to a guard and then to an educational advisor. He is accused of having issued death threats targeting the school principal in both conversations. French Education Minister Gabriel Attal called the threats “intolerable and unspeakable.”
The principal was now under police protection, he said. The president of the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region, Laurent Wauquiez, added that the school staff had received threats “of death and decapitation.” The authorities had to show “firmness and determination” in the face of such threats….
The father, who has not been named, was detained for questioning in Clermont-Ferrand, central France, on suspicion of “threats with a view to intimidating a person tasked with a public service mission,” said local prosecutor Dominique Puechmaille.
The father’s threats to the principal were not subtle: “decapitation and death.” And since those threats were first made, the very same threats have been made by Muslims to other members of the school’s staff. Can the French state provide police protection for all of them? French authorities are justifiably alarmed, thinking of the fate of middle-school teacher Samuel Paty, decapitated with a cleaver by a Muslim from Chechnya for showing his pupils a caricature of Muhammad in a class on freedom of speech.
“The prosecutor said the man would receive a “direct summons” and be placed under “judicial control.”
Mr Macron said the dress was being used by Islamists to challenge the French system and its exclusion of religion from state activities.
The wearing of the abaya in institutions of the state, such as public schools—private schools are not affected — is being deliberately encouraged by members of the Muslim Brotherhood, apparently located in Turkey, who want to challenge the French principle of laicité. They have not succeeded; Macron’s government has remained firm in its determination to enforce the ban. And only 300 Muslim girls in public schools — out of more than a half-million nationwide — chose to wear the abaya the first day of school. And by Friday, the third day of school, there had been no further reports of girls having to be sent home because they came to school wearing abayas.
On Thursday, the State Council, France’s highest court for complaints against government authorities, rejected a motion by an association for an injunction against the ban and said it was not discriminatory towards Muslims….
The ban does not discriminate against Muslims. Not just abayas and hijabs, but all clothing of a religious nature — including kippahs and crucifixes — is prohibited in French public schools.
According to an interior ministry intelligence note, a significant proportion of claims accusing the French state of “oppression of Muslims” appeared to be driven by the International Organisation to Support the Prophet of Islam – a group based in Istanbul closely associated with the radical Muslim Brotherhood.
There is no “oppression of Muslims” by the French state. In fact, Muslims have been treated with far too much solicitousness. The abaya ought to have been banned long ago, when the Jewish kippah and Christian crucifixes were banned in 2004, but for some reason — fear of a furious Muslim reaction — it had been allowed for twenty more years, until September 6, 2023.
They [charges made by Muslims against France] included a false claim that 12 per cent of women in France have been raped, according to the report, which was leaked to Le Parisien.
That claim of widespread rape — 12 percent of all women in France — is meant to suggest that French women, with their come-hither clothing, are “asking for it.” And the best way to deal with that problem is for women in France to dress modestly, as Muslimas do, wearing the hijab and the abaya that the oppressive Macron government has now prohibited in public institutions.
The father is still under arrest. One hopes he will be given a suitably long prison sentence for making those death threats. But even if he is behind bars, the principal now must look forward to years of round-the-clock police protection. There are even reports that he will resign and move elsewhere, for his safety. And the staff members at the school who have also been threatened with “decapitation and death”? What will happen to them?

What is so painful and hopeless that France is facing the Islamic terrorism with only reacting tool.s France should drain all the brotherhood centers and fundings, their sleeping cells, their mosques and force muslims to separate from their getos. France should change the laws to strip citizenship of any person refuses her laws and ship him to the sea. Given that France has a large Muslim population now, they no longer feel they’re a vulnerable minority. Now they’ll go on the offensive…this threat is just the start.
Eventually the terrorist attacks will resume against France, more attacks against educators, police, etc. Muslims will try to weaken the French state to make it easier to impose Islamic rule.
You know the situation has already gotten out of hand when ordinary girls/women complain about constant sexual harassment by Muslims throughout their day.
France thinks it’s getting tough…they don’t realize yet how terrible the situation is, with 7 million Muslims, probably higher now with all the migrant invaders…they have a ready-made army of millions of Islamic soldiers and terrorists far outnumbering the cops/military of France.
They need to think about this issue as a war and not a criminal matter. Mass deportations should be on the table. Actually after Muslims killed hundreds of French citizens in terrorist attacks, they should’ve started throwing them out already.
It’s not as if the French gov’t doesn’t know who these people are and what they’re planning. They just don’t have the balls right now to make such a bold move…but they could do it secretly and succeed.

Regarding the question of the Abaya, that symbol of female subjugation and oppression, France needs to decide if it wants to uphold western freedom or will cave to religious thuggery.
This dress code is the same issue as Quran-burning. Either you tell the invaders to adopt our way of life and leave your beliefs at the door or you send them back. It’ll be interesting to see how France handles it as it is a 51% Secular (non-religious) state.
At the end of the day though, real change will only happen through elections and ideally they will put Eric Zemmour in power….though Marine Le Pen probably has the best chance of winning though she’s much weaker than Eric, still they’ll be headed in the right direction.
France shouldn’t sacrifice any more lives to keep Muslims in their country, it makes no sense at all. Put the French community under surveillance and if they’re plotting any terrorist attacks against you that’s sedition…which needs to be deal with using executions and deportations.

Well, yes, but not of Muslim women.
Per Qur’an 33:59, the veil’s primary purpose, in all its manifestations (hijab, chador, niqab, burqa, etc.) is a non-verbal expression of Islamic supremacy: i.e., subjugation and oppression of non-Muslim women.
The French government would do well to make that known (flyers, print and electronic media) in their defence of the ban.

True maybe for some muslimas it’s not oppressive, but I’m sure there are many others that hate it, but go along because they don’t want their raging fathers/brothers to ‘honor-kill’ them.
But also an attack on any elements of Islam is an attack on all of them, it’s just that the French are oblivious to this reality. I expect the situation to get worse there are Muslims get outraged by more things they are not allowed to do.

Yes, many do dislike wearing that garb (more than a few Iranian women for example). Whether a Muslim woman knows what Qur’an 33:59 says or not (plenty of them don’t)–its primary purpose is to flout Islamic supremacy in the company of “filthy unbelievers”.
Macron’s government should use Qur’an against those demanding their “right”–over French law– to wear those articles of clothing.
