Up to now, the Washington Post’s resident “Fact-Checker” Glenn Kessler has been a loyal propagandist for the leftist establishment, never breaking character or giving any sign that he was interested in or even capable of independent thought.
Even Kessler, however, seems to have finally had enough of Old Joe Biden’s constant lying. On Thursday, Kessler made what for the WaPo amounted to a remarkable admission: much of what Old Joe blathers on about is not “credible.” That’s a polite way of saying that the faux president is a liar.
Yes, you knew that. Everyone did. But for the Washington Post, which has doggedly carried water for this disastrous regime even as it has driven America into a ditch, to admit it was momentous. To be sure, Kessler never accuses Biden of lying outright, despite Old Joe’s lengthy history of lies that goes all the way back to his plagiarism in law school. The closest Kessler gets is to note that some people have accused Biden of lying: “Contemporary news reports on the house fire do not match his telling of it, fanning criticism that he had lied to a vulnerable audience.”
This is worlds away from the WaPo’s treatment of the hated Trump, whom they accuse of lying on a regular basis, most recently on Aug. 19 in the story entitled “Trump’s lies tested limits of the bully pulpit. His right to say them is at core of criminal defense.” Kessler and his fellow Post apparatchiks would rather don MAGA hats and put on a Kid Rock album than write anything on the order of “Biden’s lies tested limits of the bully pulpit,” but Kessler came as close as the WaPo is going to get when he wrote that while Old Joe’s tall tales were sometimes “largely true,” others “fall short.”
Kessler added, “As president, Biden has continued a tradition of embellishing his personal tales in ways that cannot be verified or are directly refuted by contemporary accounts.” That’s what they call “lying,” Glenn. I know how it must hurt your heart to admit that the figurehead of this far-left regime is multiply guilty of it, but the facts are the facts.
For all the limitations that his ideological blinkers impose upon him, however, Kessler does manage to provide a fairly accurate summary of some of Biden’s most egregious lies. Kessler notes that “at least six times as president, mostly recently in comments to Hurricane Idalia victims Wednesday, Biden has exaggerated the extent of a fire that occurred at his house in 2004.”

From some video clips of Biden’s bizarre lies and the comments from presenters on Sky News out here in Australia, Biden seems to be a pathological liar. I keep thinking, how can such a complete bullshitter be allowed to get away with his fantasyland version of things. i don’t know whether it is all part of his obvious dementia or he actually is, and maybe always has been, a pathological liar. What makes such people tick is a mystery to me. Biden as President of any country is a complete embarrassment.

I can assure you, tg, that Biden has been an inveterate liar virtually all of his adult life. When his first wife was killed in 1972 in a tragic auto accident, even though the official report of this accident indicated that she pulled out in front of a truck, nonetheless Biden for many years continued to maintain that the reason why his first wife was killed was because the truck driver “drank his lunch.” This drove the truck driver according to his own daughter to great despair and it was only when the family said it was ready to launch a defamation suit against Biden that he retracted this vile lie.
Then there are so many other lies he’s been telling for many decades now, for instance that he graduated from Syracuse University Law School in the “top half of his class.” No, he graduated 76th out of 85. Biden also claimed he marched in the 60s Civil Rights movement even though he didn’t (he had to take this back as well). And then when he was running for President in 1988 he copied virtually word for word Neil Kinnock’s speech (Kinnock was Labour leader at the time in the UK), passing it off as his own, and this was the reason why he had to drop out of the Presidential race that year because he was caught red handed in pure plagiarism mode.
I could go on and on with Biden’s lies over half a century because there have been so many. The man is despicable and I have no sympathy for him because he has dementia (which he surely does) because he was a skunk, a man with no virtues, long before his dementia set in. Besides, he’s a traitor as well and should be impeached by the House and then convicted by the Senate—but he won’t be.

As James says, he is a psychopath. That kind of person lies in order to indulge their own fantasies, delude others into admiration if possible, and feed their own ego.. They are never to blame, but are always ready to take credit. No empathy no sympathy, no fellow feeling…always looking out for number one.
The only difference in now and the past is that now, he mumbles, garbles, and speaks gibberish as he lies.

Thanks for that information, Wellington. It is amazing that such a weirdo, I mean with this lying, and, of course, Biden’s really creepy, really “off” sniffing girls’ hair, etc, has been able to climb to the top of the pile in American politics. I thought that pathological lying would be found out and the voters would have ensured that such a scumbag as Biden (and even more for the very public pedophilic behaviour towards plainly uncomfortable very young girls) would have had his political career curtailed ages ago. I share your contempt for the scumbag and for his entire corrupt family, especially his son, Hunter. What low creatures Joe Biden, and his son, both seem to be. I am amazed that such a low life could reach the position of President. How in hell’s name could he have climbed so high? maybe decent people in the USA avoid getting involved in politics. We have many hopeless politicians in Australia, but Biden is worse than what we have to endure.

It’s quite true, tim, that many politicians are lesser human beings but Biden is the bottom of the barrel. I can assure you that a huge number of Americans despise the man and even many Democrats are regularly embarrassed by him.

Thanks, Wellington, for giving me an idea of how many Americans feel. It is a terrible situation to see a creature like Biden in the position of President, that’s for sure. And the idea that the senile creature could run again, in his state, and maybe even win, is even more alarming.

Tim, when you put the behaviour of dementia Joe and Scroto next to each other their really isn’t that much difference. The main thing being is that Morrison has all his marbles.
We have to keep in mind that honest politicians are like high class diamonds, very rare.
