Dr. Keith Wolverson “asked a patient to take off her niqab three times as he could not hear her describing her daughter’s symptoms.” The woman’s husband (her male guardian) complained about Dr. Wolverson, despite the fact that he was diligently performing his duties in attending to the Muslim couple’s child.
He was suspended for nine months, but has now returned to work under “monitoring” (by a “responsible officer,” but whom exactly? Sharia police?). The woman stated that she felt “victimised and racially discriminated” against upon being asked to remove her niqab, although she was only asked to do this in order to facilitate her own daughter’s care. Would she and her husband have preferred substandard care based on the fraction of information that Dr. Wolverson could hear through the niqab? Apparently so, if the alternative were removing it.
There are also always other patients waiting to be cared for in busy urgent care facilities, so the controversy created by this couple wasted valuable time.
The West is expected to walk on eggshells and bow to unreasonable demands with regard to Sharia-adherent Muslims. A Minnesota Muslim woman was awarded $120,000 for having to remove her hijab for a jailhouse mugshot. No other religion demonstrates the supremacism inherent in making such complaints.

A General Practitioner is being forced to be monitored by a “responsible officer” after asking a Muslim woman to remove her veil.
Dr Keith Wolverson was suspended for nine months after being found guilty of or admitting to a total of 17 charges of misconduct relating to incidents between January and May 2018.
The incidents involving the GP, who was working as a locum at a walk-in centre at Royal Stoke University Hospital, concern urgent care centres in both Derby and Stoke.
Dr Wolverson asked a patient to take off her niqab three times as he could not hear her describing her daughter’s symptoms.
The woman’s husband put forward a complaint following the incident.
She also told last year’s hearing that she felt “victimised and racially discriminated” against during the consultation.
He told a review hearing he “deeply regretted” the incident and stressed he learned from his mistakes.
The Medical Practitioner Tribunal Service (MPTS) decided to follow his suspension with sanctions for a further year after ruling he had not shown sufficient “insight” into his actions nor taken a course in “cultural diversity”
Dr Wolverson told the tribunal: “It would be completely wrong to maintain the suspension and prohibit a doctor further from doing his duty to his patients when there are such grave shortages within the NHS currently.”…

If you believe young Muslim women actually like wearing a niqab there are famous bridges available for your purchase. Who are the real motivators behind the complaints, the magnifiers of offense? Muslim men who consider women as wards and posessions. Who, again, limits the education of women and places them at the rear of the Mosque?
