Where did Mohammed Afzal learn about Islam and get the idea that he should wage jihad warfare against unbelievers? British authorities have no interest in such questions, and will wave them away, if anyone has the courage and wit even to ask them, by claiming that he was “radicalized on the Internet.” All right. But why did the peaceful, benign Islam he supposedly learned at the local mosque give way so readily to the allegedly twisted, hijacked Internet version? Why wasn’t young Afzal taught to withstand the blandishments of the Hijackers of Islam? And is the problem here really that British authorities don’t dare investigate the question of how prevalent such ideas are within the Muslim community?

An 18-year-old has been jailed after he was found in posession [sic] of viable bomb making instructions.
Mohammed Afzal, of Preston, posted extremist material that was deemed to ‘encourage terrorism’ on a number of social media accounts. He also collected terrorist information, including directions on how ro make a bomb.
He was arrested on suspicion of encouraging terrorism and the dissemination of terrorist publications, and later pleaded guilty to eight terrorism-related charges. He was jailed for three years and nine months at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday (August 2).
Officers carried out an investigation into the online activities of Afzal after he was found to be posting extremist related material on social media.
Afzal was arrested in June 2022 and a number of electronic devices were seized from his home. At the time, he refused to provide the passcodes for the seized devices and he was released under investigation.
Police were able to extract digital material from Afzal’s mobile phone, where they found a number of terrorist related documents. Investigators linked a number of social media accounts to Afzal that were found to contain a large amount of extremist material deemed to encourage terrorism.
Afzal was re-arrested in October 2022 on suspicion of collecting and disseminating terrorist material but refused to answer any questions during his interview….

Not all the british are cowardly and witless. We DO ask those questions. We never get any kind of answers from our politicians, who ARE cowardly and witless.
Incidentally, I have to say there’s no way that’s a teenager. I wouldn’t have said he’s younger than mid twenties. Moslems are known for lying about their age in order to dodge deportation, not that that happens often.

It seems that the British and other EU nations are truly lucky. It is amazing that so many of these animals are discovered because they utilize the internet to communicate. If they had an IQ over 90, they might have caused real damage and slaughtered a lot of innocent people many times.

If the courts and/or authorities think that sending a diabolically driven despicable deviant like this to prison, will in any way discourge him from his unholy mission, or reform him somehow, they must surely be insane!
Given that we know there are an enormous number of potential jihadists waiting to be released in the near, to not so distant future, I believe we should be very worried and ultra vigilant, in all towns and cities of the UK.
It is simply not safe any more & stands to become even more desperatly dangerous.
For this backwards teenage terrorist, is but one of many young malevolent muslims waiting for their fuse to be lit; so to speak.

Worse than the Old West where outlaws ruled and there were no marshals or sheriffs to keep even a few outlaws off the dirt streets. At least the *leading citizens* were able to see what was needed and worked to get there.
It seems modern society is just giving the mozlum terrorists the keys to every city; and even the keys to all of the homes so they can do as they please.
I believe the only real help will come from Heaven and Those Who reside there.
