Momika himself, however, maintains that his acts of desecration are intended to criticize the ideas in the Qur’an, not Muslim people. This distinction, is valid as it is, is lost on most Muslims, as well as most non-Muslims in the West nowadays.

The Islam critic and Koran-burner Salwan Momika, who received media attention, was apparently attacked and beaten during a live broadcast by an unknown man wearing boxing gloves. Now the “boxer” states that the fight was arranged in advance and that Momika is lying about the incident.
The video clip where Momika was reportedly in Södertälje to “buy food and supplies” and is suddenly attacked by a man with an immigrant background in training clothes and with boxing gloves has been widely circulated on social media and has been singled out as one of several attacks on Swedish freedom of expression.
According to the Koran burner’s own comment to the Bonnier newspaper Expressen, “a Muslim person came and attacked me and beat me and promised to kill me and I am now in the hospital with an eye and head injury.” The police also confirm that at the time they received an alarm from someone who stated that he had been beaten and who had non-serious injuries.
Now, however, the boxer himself states that the whole “attack” was arranged in advance and that he agreed with Salwan Momika to argue in front of the camera, but that he soon got tired, writes Expressen, and refers to an Arabic-language clip on TikTok that the man published.
“It is a lie and slander. I don’t know who he is and I haven’t spoken to him before,” claims Momika in a comment.
His own explanation for the fact that the incident was caught on film is that “every act or abuse I’ve been subjected to is documented, and that’s exactly what happened.” At the same time, he admits that he also earns money from his live broadcasts.
Apart from a blow to the arm, it can also be noted that no abuse is visible on the film, but that it is also not clear what exactly happened before the cameraman starts filming the situation.
In recent weeks, Salwan Momika has sent in twelve new applications to burn the Koran in Stockholm, Malmö and Örebro. The applications have not yet been approved, but are expected to be allowed because Sweden has no blasphemy laws.
“He has freedom of speech. He uses it,” says Gunnar Strömmer (M), but at the same time claims that Momika’s actions “are a serious threat to the safety and security of citizens.”

Agreed James, I think they’re also doing it for a couple of other reasons. First to ‘stand up’ for their garbage religion, they think they’ll win brownie points with their fellow death-cult members and their (imaginary) god.
Secondly they’re sending a public message of violent intimidation-that if you desecrate our ‘holy book/religion’ then you’ll pay a heavy price for it. They’re making an example out of him, like the mafia.
Those Muslims who care about optics, tend to have a slightly higher IQ than their thuggish brethren and know this is more likely to backfire rather than win them any respect or submission…so they’re usually out there telling other Muslims to calm down cause it puts them in a bad light and/or they’re trying to sweet-talk the Quran-burner into not doing it.
However it’s the violent Muslim thugs that are the most valuable source of propaganda for us in the anti-Islam movement, as they illustrate vividly what Muslims have in store for those oppose to their evil ideology.
The more barbarically they behave, the more eyes they open. This is why for example when Sam Harris and other hugely popular atheists/commenters use various religions to illustrate just how bad Islam is compared to others.
He’ll joke about how terrorists are very unlikely to be Mormons or Hindus-everyone knows what he’s implying if he doesn’t say it explicitly…the Muslims are really digging their own graves with this kind of belligerent behavior.
I recall a few years ago there was a great viral video going around with people burning Qurans…I think YT must’ve taken it down for ‘hate speech’ but there were dozens of people posting vids of themselves burning Qurans and telling Muslims to F-Off….that’s what is needed. Non-Muslims need to tell Muslims we’re not afraid of them, we’re not going to bow and to hell with their religion.
This conflict between the West and Islam is inevitable…the sooner people wake up and fight back the better because we’re still the vast majority and we need to keep it that way.

I agree, Tatanka. A murder manual and one of the most hate-filled books in existence is a good summary of the very unholy and inhuman Koran. It deserves no more respect than Hitler’s manual of hate, “Mein Kampf”. The Koran has twisted so many minds into a ferocious, murderous hatred towards all non-Muslims and a mass burning would be a good idea for the evil book.

That’s what I was wondering about, usually they have cops at these Quran-burnings since they know it can get out of hand.
They’re critics of Islam to twist in the wind and get beat up or even killed. I guess they don’t think freedom is worth defending either and want to surrender to Islam.
The thing is their lives will be so miserable as Muslims they’ll hate themselves for not standing up to these religious maniacs when it was a lot easier to do.

Whenever I hear ridiculous allegations coming from the mouths of muslims I try to remind myself that these allegations are not intended for my ears (or the ears of other “infidels”) but rather for muslim ears in order to reinforce and strengthen their agenda — victimhood, islamophobia, etc.
Of course muslims aren’t the only ones to use this tactic to fire up their followers.
