Israel’s domestic security service, Shin Bet, arrested four Arab-Israelis running a weapons smuggling ring for Lebanon’s Hezbollah terrorist group. The smuggling ring — operating out of an Arab village in northern Israel — was sneaking in Iranian-made weapons and explosives from Hezbollah-controlled southern Lebanon into Israel.
The Shin Bet raid coincides with a wave of deadly Palestinian terrorist attacks directed by Iran. “We are in the midst of a terrorist onslaught that is being encouraged, directed, and financed by Iran and its proxies.” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday as Iran-backed jihadist groups escalate attacks against Israeli civilians.
The smuggling ring is busted as Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah renews his terrorist threats against Israel. The Iran-sponsored terrorist militia has amassed a huge number of rockets and weapons systems on Israel’s northern border.
“Hezbollah’s provocations on the Lebanese–Israeli border continue, while deeper within Lebanon, the Iranian-backed terror army continues to amass a monstrous arsenal of some 200,000 rockets, mortar shells, missiles and drones,” the Jewish News Syndicate reported August 2.
Most of Hezbollah’s weaponry and terrorist infrastructure is supplied and financed by Iran. The terrorist outfit receives around $700 million a year from the Mullah regime, Israel’s defense ministry estimated earlier this year.
“Shin Bet: 4 Israelis arrested as part of Hezbollah ‘weapons smuggling ring’,” by Emanuel Fabian, Times of Israel, August 24, 2023:
The Shin Bet security agency revealed on Thursday that in July, four Israeli citizens were arrested for suspected ties to the Hezbollah terror group, and were allegedly involved in smuggling Iranian-made explosive devices into the country.
According to the Shin Bet, three residents of the northern Arab town of Kafr Qasim were arrested over suspicions they had smuggled into Israel “a large number of quality weapons.” The agency said two Iranian-made explosive devices, among other weapons, were seized during their arrest.
In a separate raid in the central city of Lod, security forces arrested another Israeli planning to use a similar explosive device for a criminal-related bombing.
“The Shin Bet investigation revealed that Hezbollah worked to recruit and operate an infrastructure of smugglers in Israel for the purpose of distributing unusual illegal weapons to various parties, including criminal elements,” the agency said in a statement.
The Shin Bet named the suspects as Jalal Khursa, 28, Ahmed Issa, 30, and Muhammed Issa, 39, from Kafr Qasim, and Nuh Assam, 30, from Lod. They were indicted Wednesday on various weapons offenses, prompting the agency to publicize details of the investigation….

They’ll catch a few lowlifes while ignoring the terrorist group and their huge stockpiles of rockets, which are pointed at Israel.
It’s like they have no idea how to deal with terrorism and they need a high schooler to tell them to destroy Hezbollah, Hamas and Iran’s Regime.
Hey Israel, why not raid Hezbollah’s depots and take the weapons for yourself and kill the terrorists? You know like how sensible states would do?
