September 16 marks the one-year anniversary of the murder of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini by Iran’s morality police for not wearing her hijab properly. Mass protests ensued, with the Islamic regime “killing hundreds of people and arresting thousands” more. Ahead of this anniversary, “an independent women’s rights group, reported that Iranian security forces conducted a number of raids of people’s homes and arrested 12 people, including 11 women’s rights defenders and a political activist.”
The world’s leading Shia regime has cracked down on dissidents since the protests. In addition, it is now cracking down on the Bahai minority community, pressuring the families of some of the protesters who were killed last year to refrain from planning memorial events. And now Iran is poised to make its hijab laws even stricter via a new “Hijab and Chastity Bill,” a draft law “consisting of 70 articles” which “would intensify punishments for those seen flouting a dress code…The bill calls for increased fines and jail time, as well as the use of artificial intelligence to identify violators.” Iran strictly adheres to Quran 24:31 and 33:59 when it comes to female coverings.
A jailed political prisoner, Faezeh Hashemi, is now urging civil disobedience in Iran. She is the daughter of Iran’s former president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, who fell out with Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei when he supported protesters who demonstrated against election fraud in the 2009 presidential elections.

(Beirut) – Iranian authorities have arrested at least a dozen activists and increased pressure on a wide range of peaceful dissidents ahead of the anniversary of the nationwide protests that swept the country in 2022, Human Rights Watch said today. The authorities brutally cracked down on the antigovernment protests that erupted after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa (Jina) Amini in the custody of the abusive morality police on September 16, 2022, killing hundreds of people and arresting thousands of protesters.
On August 16, 2023, Bidarzani, an independent women’s rights group, reported that Iranian security forces conducted a number of raids of people’s homes and arrested 12 people, including 11 women’s rights defenders and a political activist. The Prosecutor’s Office has refused to provide information to families about the charges against the detainees, Bidarzani reported.
“Iranian authorities are using their go-to playbook of putting maximum pressure on peaceful dissidents ahead of the anniversary of Mahsa Amini’s death,” said Tara Sepehri Far, senior Iran researcher at Human Rights Watch. “The arbitrary arrests of a dozen activists are aimed at suppressing popular discontent with ongoing impunity and rights violations.”
On August 17, Tasnim News Agency, which is close to Iran’s Revolutionary Corps intelligence organization, reported that the General Intelligence Office of Gilan Province issued a statement saying it had arrested a network of 12 people “who were planning to disrupt security.” The authorities, the news release said, had accused the leaders of the network – without providing any evidence – of participating in trainings aimed at a “soft overthrow” of the system….

That this murderous tyrannical Islamic regime of Iran had had far more than five hundred executions in this year of 2022 should surprise no informed person who is very knowledgeable about the bloody and deadly history and vicious malicious history of that despicable Islamic tyranny of Iran.
As explained by a former Muslim as well as a man who took part in this Islamic “revolution “ ,who is now a Christian informs the reader of his book that “Prior to the Revolution no one ever imagined that other political parties would be suppressed under the rule of Ayatollah Khomeini. He had promised that all groups would have freedom to run their own campaigns after the Revolution. He even stated that governing system would be based on the decision of the people via a referendum. He never spoke of a system that would be governed by Islam. He even made clear that mullahs would not take part in any political activities, and that they would only be allowed to teach spirituality… Immediately after the Revolution, mullahs rushed into government offices to occupy the most important political l positions, making it difficult for the interim secular government to function … The mullah’s occupation of position was exactly the opposite to what the Ayatollah Khomeini had promised before the Revolution.”. In other words, the insincere, disingenuous and outright lying Ayatollah Khomeini made many bogus promise he really had no intention of keeping. His lying deception worked, for he achieved great power in Iran.
Therefore, deceit violence and death was the very foundation of that Islamic regime of Iran.
Furthermore, that fiendish President of Iran, Raisi in power in that tyrannical Islamic regime of Iran it’s now a rather appropriate time to bring out the fact that if the founder of the current Islamic tyranny, Ayatollah Khomeini would still be alive today, he would spit on those who that Islam is a non-violent religion .
For as Ayatollah Khomeini had clearly announced that “Those who know nothing about Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war….There are hundreds psalms and hadiths urging of Muslims to value war and to fight. …I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim.” [2]
There are also many places in the Qu ‘ran that instruct in violence and killing for the cause of Islam.

They were innocent in every sense of the word and certainty innocent of trumped –up charges that led to their imprisonment. Yet they suffered fates too brutal for even the most vicious criminal. ..Their few remaining moments of life had been filled with the level of abuse that few can imagine…The author further states “They tortured and killed young girls, in God’s name and before their execution they raped them because they believed that if a girl dies virgin, she will go to heaven, and they wanted to deny them this reward.” [1]
