Following the arrest of a 17-year-old Philadelphia youth said to be a “supporter of Islamic extremists, allegedly radicalized online, and had purchased materials that could be used to make bombs,” Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner immediately went into Islamic apologist mode, saying:
The work of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force potentially thwarted a catastrophic terrorist attack in the name of a perverted ideology that in no way, shape, or form represents the beliefs of the overwhelming majority of peace-seeking people of faith, including Muslims.
Krasner also stated of the 17-year-old:
The charges we have filed against this individual represent the most serious alleged terrorist activity prosecuted in Philadelphia County court in recent history.
As Jihad Watch reported this morning, FBI Special Agent in Charge Jacqueline Maguire said: “It used to be that years ago you’d have to travel overseas to go to training camps, and that’s not the case anymore because you can very easily sit at home, sit in this country and be radicalized on the internet. The threat has changed, and it’s changed drastically over the past couple of decades.” This is nothing new or rare. An article published on the FBI’s own website in 2011 stated that “online radicalization presents a primary concern.” The internet is also being used to promote the Iranian Islamic regime’s “warfare tactics.”
The problem of followers of the so-called “religion of peace” turning to violence is not restricted to those who were “radicalized on the Internet.” Islam is well established to be problematic beyond its foot soldiers of ISIS, al-Qaeda and their offshoots. There’s a 1,400-year history of violent jihad, persecution of religious minorities, and oppression and subversion — which is all too obvious to those who value truth over appeasement, and to those who have not been misled by the “Islamophobia” canard. Saudi Arabia is founded upon the supremacist ideology of Wahhabism, which “ marginalizes peaceful followers of Islam.” Pakistan is infamous for its cruel blasphemy laws and persecution of Christians and Ahmadis. The leadership of the Palestinian Territories (Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, Fatah) are also jihadists. The Taliban say they see Turkey as an ally and want to build close ties, while Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has stated that “Turkey has nothing that contradicts their beliefs.” The list goes on.
Islam has not been perverted by the most violent foot soldiers of Islam such as the Islamic State, al-Qaeda and Hamas (which is a Muslim Brotherhood offshoot.) To the Muslim Brotherhood, Jihad is the Way. Jihadists are following the tenets of the Hadiths and Qur’an to the letter, and pursuing the promised rewards for martyrdom.

The FBI and Philadelphia law enforcement officials announced a case Monday afternoon against a 17-year-old who they say was a supporter of Islamic extremists, was allegedly radicalized online and had purchased materials that could be used to make bombs.
“The work of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force potentially thwarted a catastrophic terrorist attack in the name of a perverted ideology that in no way, shape, or form represents the beliefs of the overwhelming majority of peace-seeking people of faith, including Muslims,” Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner said in a statement.
The DA’s office said the juvenile faces charges of possessing weapons of mass destruction, criminal conspiracy, arson, causing/risking catastrophe, attempting to commit criminal mischief, possession of an instrument of crime and recklessly endangering another person.
“The charges we have filed against this individual represent the most serious alleged terrorist activity prosecuted in Philadelphia County court in recent history,” Krasner said.
A law enforcement official said that the DA’s office will attempt to try the juvenile as an adult but that the case would not go to federal court because of the suspect’s age. The 17-year-old is from a Muslim family, the official said; there were no indications that members of his family were involved in or aware of his alleged plans.
The suspect had been buying materials online and selecting potential targets, the official said.
Krasner and Jacqueline Maguire, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Philadelphia field office, held a news conference Monday about a terrorism investigation that led to an arrest in West Philadelphia……

I’m from Philadelphia. I was born there. And Larry Krasner, DA for Philadelphia County and City (they have been one and the same since 1854) is a Soros-funded DA and he is not only wrong and ignorant. The man is also evil, as is Soros himself.

In years past I often took the subway in Philly. No longer. Larry Krasner has had a lot to do with the present state of Philadelphia, where America was born, as he continues to release violent criminals over and over again. But, per Krasner, Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance. Right.

The FBI does understand that Jihad is expressly Islamic. What planet do they live on?
It is not a word that appears in any other religious tradition but that of Islam. Whether the literal interpretation of jihad is incubated online or directly from the Quran, Hadith, Sirah or Sharia does not matter.
There is no reason for the FBI to say any more than this: ‘the man was inspired to engage in the lesser jihad, which we call terrorism’.
