One jihadi was killed and another seriously wounded in a “work-related accident” in Hamas-controlled Gaza, local media reports say. The Iran-backed Islamic terrorist group admitted the death of one of its operatives in a blast, describing it as an “accidental explosion.”
“The Gaza-based interior ministry did not reveal the cause of the blast but said it killed Ashraf Hussein, a member of Hamas’s military wing, the Qassam Brigades,” the Times of Israel reported Thursday. “The Qassam Brigades acknowledged that Hussein was killed in what the group described as an accidental explosion.”
Such “work-related” accidents are not new for the terrorist group, which has a history of carrying out suicide bombings against Israeli civilians – selecting targets such restaurants and public transportation.
Several Hamas bombmakers and prospective suicide bombers have been killed in premature explosions, ruining their chances of receiving virgins in the Paradise guaranteed in Qur’an to those who “kill and are killed” for Allah.
“Gaza’s Hamas rulers have a number of training sites and underground facilities used for manufacturing weapons and storing raw rocket material,” the Times of Israel added. “Accidental explosions have been reported in the past at bomb laboratories and munitions storehouses.”
The news comes as Iran-sponsored terrorist groups, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), unleash a wave of terror attacks aimed at Israeli civilians, particularly in the Judea and Samaria region. The Iranian regime congratulated Hamas for carrying out these recent attacks that killed Israeli civilians, calling them “victories.”
“Hamas terrorist killed in ‘work accident’ in central Gaza Strip,” by Elad Benari, Israel National News/Arutz Sheva, August 25, 2023:
An explosion ripped through a Hamas site in the central Gaza Strip on Thursday, Palestinian Arab sources said, killing one person and seriously wounding another, The Associated Press reported.
The Gaza-based interior ministry did not reveal the cause of the blast but said it killed Ashraf Hussein, a member of Hamas’ military wing, the Qassam Brigades.
The Qassam Brigades acknowledged that Hussein was killed in what the group described as an “accidental explosion”.
Such “work accidents” occur from time to time in the Gaza Strip when terrorists mishandle an explosive device.
There was no information about what kind of facility was affected in Thursday’s explosion in Deir al-Balah, or about the extent of damage caused….

When a jihadist blows himself up isn’t that technically a ‘work related accident’?
Should CAIR consider some insurance policy for the Jihadis with Legal advice from the SPLC?

If this accident had happened in the United States:
“If an employee who files for workers’ compensation benefits is shown to be guilty of illegal conduct, they will probably be denied workers’ compensation benefits.”
