The Rwanda scheme was intended to stem the flow of illegal migrants entering Britain via the English Channel. Here’s some brief background about the scheme that began with Boris Johnson:
Johnson’s Conservative government reached what it called a “world-leading” agreement with Rwanda in April to relocate asylum seekers who arrived on British shores some 6,500 kilometres away in Rwanda. Johnson called Rwanda “one of the safest countries in the world, globally recognized for its record on welcoming and integrating migrants.”
From the outset, the Rwandan scheme was destined to fail, given the loads of red tape from Leftist bureaucrats, lawyers and other champions of open-door migration. Now comes news contrary to what Johnson claimed about Rwanda being safe…
The London Court of Appeals has ruled against the High Court’s previous judgement, finding that Rwanda is not a safe country for deportations and thereby ruling out the UK government’s resettlement scheme.
Never mind the safety of British citizens, however. They must endure the steady barrage of unvetted migrants, who come mostly from Africa and the Middle East. “Serious criminals — including murderers, terrorists and rapists” have been found among English Channel migrants.
Even Rwanda rejected the court ruling deeming the Rwanda plan to be unlawful.
The UK Conservative government is infamous for failed efforts to curb the violation of the country’s borders. Those efforts seemed primarily intended to pacify an increasingly frustrated public. Yet less than two weeks ago as 10,000 illegal migrants arrived via English Channel, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak absurdly claimed that efforts to stop them have succeeded
The Telegraph revealed in May that the UK was bracing for over 1,000,000 migrants this year; that number may well be right. The message has already been sent to illegals that British borders are open to anyone, no matter the burden placed upon the economy and national security, not to mention undetected infectious diseases.

LONDON, June 29 (Reuters) – British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said the government would appeal to the UK’s top court after its plan to deport asylum seekers to Rwanda was deemed unlawful, a major blow to his pledge to stop asylum seekers arriving in small boats.
Under an initial 140 million pound ($177 million) deal struck last year, Britain planned to send tens of thousands of asylum seekers who arrive on its shores a distance of more than 4,000 miles (6,400 km) to the East African country.
The government argues the plan would smash the business model of human traffickers but critics say the policy is inhumane and will not work. On Thursday the Court of Appeal concluded by a majority of two to one that Rwanda could not be treated as a safe third country.
“While I respect the court I fundamentally disagree with their conclusions,” Sunak said in a statement, adding the government would seek to overturn the decision in the UK Supreme Court.
“The policy of this government is very simple, it is this country – and your government – who should decide who comes here, not criminal gangs,” he added. “And I will do whatever is necessary to make that happen.”
The ruling comes as a huge blow for Sunak as he grapples with high inflation, rising interest rates and declining public support amid growing pressure from his party and the public to tackle rising numbers of asylum seekers costing 3 billion pounds a year to accommodate….

The ELECTED government needs to IGNORE the court’s ruling!
If the LEGAL beagles are THAT enthusiastic for ILLEGALS’ rights … let them accommodate them, in their HOMES!
Though I have a MORE-THAN-SNEAKING suspicion that their spouses would VERY QUICKLY douse the flames of the judges’ enthusiasm!

And INFAMOUS!!??
Err … NO! There is NO infamy, involved!
Yet AGAIN … If you DON’T know the word that you need … UTILISE a dictionary and/or thesaurus!
And what the ELECTED government NEEDS to do, is to override the UNELECTED judges’ decision!
In other words … IGNORE the court’s ruling!

It is kinda funny in an unfunny way. If the courts dont turn this invasion around, eventually, the courts will no longer exist as they are today. So, with that in mind, should the people just ignore the courts? My survey says yes. The courts have already signed off on their own demise. No need for the people to follow the courts in to that pit of no return.

Robert Spencer is always scathing about the UK’s attempts to stem the tide of illegal immigration into the UK, which is primarily via the English Channel. A run of Home Secretaries have tried to tackle the problem.The past two, Priti Patel and Suella Braverman have made determined efforts but have both been thwarted by ‘the liberal elite and leftist lawyers’, not to mention the Civil Service (aka ‘the blob’) who plead ‘bullying’ whenever a minister orders them to get on with their jobs. It is obvious to any thinking person that the current situation is unsustainable but, as a Brit, It is actually rather didfficult for me to blame the governmant – they are wadng through treacle. If RS has any good ideas as how to remedy this situaion, I’m sure Ms Braverman would love to hear them.
The current riots in France are mostly, it seens, down to young immigrants of North African descent. If this puts pressure on France to police their borders more stringently (it appears that Italy already has the message) it would do much to cut the numbers reaching the north French coast and thus alleviate our problem.
If not, I fear Enoch Powell’s prescient forecast in 1968 – for which he was unjustly villified – will finally occur, as appears to be happening in France.

Unless the RN of the UK intercepts all the boats and sends them all back to France, you have no solution. THEY WILL KEEP ON COMING TO THE UNDEFENDED UK IN GREATER DROVES.
