While many UK military families have no heat or hot water, the government continues to host illegal migrants in plush hotels, at the cost to taxpayers of $8.5 million USD a day and rising. The UK is apparently running out of options. This is no surprise, as Britain reportedly braces for over 1,000,000 migrants this year.
Now, a top former Conservative government minister — former Justice Secretary Brandon Lewis — is asking Brits to take illegals into their homes. Never mind the Muslim rape gangs, the unwillingness of all too many migrants to assimilate, and also the increase in crime rates that countries including Sweden, Germany and France have experienced.

A former Tory government minister has called on the British public to welcome illegal aliens who cross the English Channel into their homes to help reduce the cost of housing migrants in hotels, which has risen to a staggering £2.2 billion per year.
Former Justice Secretary Brandon Lewis has argued that the government should introduce a similar programme to the ‘Homes for Ukraine’ scheme for Ukrainian refugees to open up the homes of Britons to those who cross the English Channel illegally, often without any identifying documents for officials to determine whether or not they have a criminal past beyond obviously showing contempt for the laws and norms of the United Kingdom by paying human traffickers to smuggle them into the country.
In a foreword to a report from the Policy Exchange think tank, the former government minister wrote: “We must do more to galvanise community efforts, such as by expanding the sponsorship model for Ukrainian refugees to other nationalities – so that the burden of supporting refugees is spread evenly, rather than falling on the poorest.”
The report, which found that the government is currently spending £3.5 billion to support asylum seekers in Britain and £2.2 billion directly on hotel payments, called for the “galvanisation of voluntary spirit” along the lines of the Ukrainian refugee scheme for alleged asylum seekers from Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and Syria who enter the country illegally….

Charity is something that comes as a 3000yr march of judeo christian history that asked people to give to less fortunate out of what they earned. It did not and does not mean to give your home away to anyone who shows up at your house. Elitist politicians like that typically would not think of hosting migrants in their mansions and plush apartments. They mean that you the proles should share the bliss. Probably they think ordinary Christians should also provide halal food, prayer mats, help the people go to mosque, change their lifestyle to be islamic compliant. It is all a matter of being good sports. Show respect for the other people. And the others do not believe in reciprocity, and that has to be respected too. They should not have to be tolerant if their religion is opposed to tolerance. It is a religion of peace, after all. And people have to make reparations for the British Empire and the Crusades. Yes, of course. The dimwitted Brandon Lewis thinks there is no significant difference between Ukrainian refugees and the illegals, overwhelmingly Muslim economic migrants, who arrive by boat. The Ukrainians are part of Europe; they share its values, and have no intention of becoming permanent recipients of aid from the British government. The Muslim migrants have one thing in mind: to live off the Infidels as much as they can, taking as their due, or proleptic jizyah, every benefit the generous welfare state of the U.K. has on offer, including free or subsidized housing, free medical care from the NHS, free education, unemployment benefits, family allowances, and more. “Illegal”….means criminal. He’s saying that because the government is allowing all of these mozlums to come into the country, the taxpayers…already paying billions to house, feed, etc….should even do more because the government doesn’t want to keep doing it. The taxpayers are now supposed to pay directly, besides what they pay already to house, feed, etc., by taxes; they are to aid and abet the crimes.
Will they be allowed to say “no way”? Will their private homes be seized if they say, “no way”?
Will the government of the U.K. do as the Germans did and put the elderly homeowners on the streets so the mozlums could live in them?

We all know this kind of thing ended in tears elsewhere in Europe and to suggest something like this about migrants from those same places takes a “special” kind of disconnected mindset.
Last I heard government offered £350 A MONTH per head for Ukrainians. One couldn’t rent a cupboard under the stairs for that let alone cover bills and food. Yet, that same government is spending £100 A DAY for an empty bed. It must be much more for a full one. That gives me a good idea of just how much government values us.
Then, there are other pitfalls, well, nothing but pitfalls. Would I get a significant security deposit? Would the £350 be classed as “rental income” and be taxed? Would I have to do all the shopping to avoid incidents of “lost the money” or “spent it on something else”? Who covers the shortfalls in bills and food? Will the local council charge me for constantly hauling away the inevitable mountains of rubbish when it doesn’t fit in the one or two bins? Who covers the damages to carpets, furniture, fixtures and fittings as well as extra wear and tear on household appliances? Would my complaints about a tenant who really “crossed a line” and requests for relocation be fobbed off as “racism”? That’s happened somewhere up North already. As a single person in the house, would I lose my 25% council (property) tax discount?
And if reports of how they behave in taxpayer funded hotels is any indication, anyone taking them in can count on a 24/7 pandemonium and lots and lots of cleaning. Somehow, they always manage to find a local drug dealer really quickly as well.
