UK: Defense attorney tells jury in Muslim rape gang trial, ‘You are not to bring any prejudice’

Don’t consider anything you know about the industrial-strength sexual abuse and exploitation of non-Muslim girls. That would be “Islamophobic.” And of course Clare Ward KC doesn’t even have to tell the jury that they must not even think about the motivations and justifications for these acts. Everyone in Britain today knows that such matters must not be discussed.

A jury has been told that eight men used two girls for their ‘sexual demands’ as defence counsel implored them not to ‘bring prejudice’ about the history of Rochdale into their deliberations.

Following a two month trial at Minshull Street Crown Court, in which eight men are accused of sexually exploiting two girls between 2002 and 2006, prosecution and defence barristers have addressed jurors in their closing speeches….

Speaking on behalf of her client, Mr Ghani, Clare Ward KC said: “Rochdale, it has been said more than once, Rochdale is a small community and everyone knows everyone. It’s small, but nationally everyone had heard of Rochdale.

“It has a terrible history, sadly the name of the town is synonymous with grooming. You have heard about a book called ‘Girl A’ and a TV series called ‘Three Girls’.

“We don’t come into this courtroom with our preconceptions and biases. You are not to bring any prejudice in consideration of what we know about the history of Rochdale.”

She added that Mr Ghani ‘does not have to prove anything’, adding that the sexual contact between him and the first complainant did not happen until she was 16.

Mohammed Ghani, 37, of Bamford Way, Rochdale, accused of 10 counts of rape, five counts of penetrative sexual activity with a child, two counts of sexual activity with a child, two counts of indecency with a child and two counts of buggery.

Insar Hussain, 36, of Bishop Street, Rochdale is accused of seven counts of rape, two counts of sexual intercourse with a child, three counts of indecency with a child, four counts of penetrative sexual activity with a child and trafficking a person for sexual exploitation.

Ikhlaq Yousef, 37, of Stanley Street, Rochdale is accused of two rapes, two counts of gross indecency with a child, two counts of penetrative sexual activity with a child and one count of causing a child to engage in sexual activity.

Jahn Shahid Ghani, 50, of Whitworth Road, Rochdale is accused of eight counts of rape, eight counts of penetrative sexual activity with a child and one count of causing a child to engage in sexual activity.

Martin Rhodes, 36, of Dinmore Avenue, Blackpool is accused of two rapes and two counts of penetrative sexual activity with a child.

Ali Razza Hussain Kasmi, 34, of Brotherod Hall Road, Rochdale is accused of two counts of rape, two of indecency with a child and two of penetrative sexual activity with a child.

Aftar Khan, 33, of Sparth Bottoms Road, Rochdale is accused of three rapes, three counts of indecency with a child and two counts of penetrative sexual activity with a child.

Mohammed Iqbal, 67, of Gainsborough Drive, Rochdale, charged with two counts of paying for sexual services of a girl under the age of 18….

  1. Nope. The Jury will listen to the Testimony of witnesses, what, if any words used by the Accused. The forensics & Police Testimonies. nowt at all to do with the colour of their skins. & still find them Guilty!

  4. Don’t “bring prejudice.” “Don’t look back in anger.” Don’t read the parts about killing the infidel, honor in slaughter, striking their necks, sex slaves, girls becoming legitimate sexual targets at first blood, taqiyah, jizya, sharia, 1/2 human blacks and females, usw.

    What was the price of this Clare’s soul?

    • Don’t bring prejudice, lest doing so sinks the case.

      Let the prosecutor do his/her work. Save the just prejudice for pre-sentencing witness statements if that is a component of the UK legal system.

  5. Hopefully the jury will just look at the evidence…..and if UK citizens start raping Muslims girls, Muslims will not judge them by the color of their skin, their religion, or attack innocent people because they’re angry or prejudice and will act civilized and sophisticated….

  6. Not sure about the Uk law, but in the U.S., a jury can hear about previous crimes of the same kind and consider them and it’s not “prejudice.”

    Scum, all of the *defendants* are scum….and that has been “proven”…they can’t possibly “prove” they aren’t guilty scum. If her client had “to prove,” he couldn’t.

    Hang ’em high for once, and some of these crimes will be less frequent.

    The poor girls deserve so much better….they deserve Justice.

    • You nailed it. These are cases where all decent people would love the standard to be requiring the purchased mouthpiece to prove her clients aren’t scum.

    • Knowing our justice system, they will be found guilty the judge will say they have suffered enough and let the off.

  7. There is an old saying “If you want to know who holds the REAL power in any society, you only have to ask one question: “Who may I not criticize?”

    In Britanistan, you can criticize the King, the Prime Minister, Parliament, the Armed Forces, the BBC, the newspapers, the railways, the airlines, the banks, etc etc, and no-one will give a toss. But criticize Islamo-fascism, and the Police will be at your door in minutes!

  8. It’s a strange but common phenomena in the United Kingdom and America’s modern PC culture that when it comes to Islamic terrorism there are many people who are afraid to call it what it is. That’s odd because no one is afraid to call a person who engages in violence for anarchy and “anarchist terrorist”. Nor are people afraid to call a Marxist who engages in violence for the ideology of communism a “Communist terrorist.”

    Likewise, a person who commits violence for Environmentalism an “Environmentalist terrorist.” ““Nevertheless, when it comes to a Muslim terrorist who engages in deadly violence because of the theology and ideology of Islam, many people fear to call that person a “Islamic terrorist.” or a Muslims terrorists. Strange but true.

  9. It’s not really “islamophobia but Islam-o- realism.

    Therefore,it should be and likewise needs to be understood that the deadly and meaning ideology of Islamic terrorism has its very foundation of the theology of Quran based , non-watered down , Islam.
    As found in that “grand holy book” of Islam” in Surah 9:123 which instructs “O you who believe ! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you and let them find harshness in you..”

    There is also other places in that “supreme.” main religious book of Islam that give instructions for Muslim to engage in the bloody violence and killing for the cause of Islam, As in Surah 2:191. 4:89. 5:33. 47:4. 9:5, 111,122.

    So Muslim terrorists in their murderous violence are following Quran based Islam and not some kind of “hijacked” or “warped” version of Islam, in spite of what the many apologists for Islam so false claim.

    Many Westerners to come out of their mental denial about the violent and deadly of Islam.

    In other words, they need to take their “Islamic blinders” and wake up to the terrible reality about the truth of that dangerous religion, which is Islam.

  10. There is nothing wrong with calling a dangerous jihadist a “Muslim terrorist.” In spite of what some politically correct people say. This is because that term is keeping within the bounds of reality with the instructions found in the Quran for jihad -minded devout Muslims. For the Quran instructs “”Strike terror [into the heart ‘of the enemies of Allah and your enemies.” Surah 8:60.

  11. The jury will probably just listen to the evidence without prejudice and defence lawyers do have a job to do, often a pretty rotten job in defending evil people. It would be handy for people, including jury members, to have a bit of knowledge about islam’s nature and the fact that that evil creature, Muhammad, when he was 50 had sex with a 9 year old girl and that Muslims therefore think that such evil behaviour is just fine. The pedophile and all round evil man, Muhammad, is the ideal man to Muslims, so pedophilia is OK with them. To civilsied non-Muslim people, it is extremely evil behaviour.

When your ideal person is an evil, barbaric 7th century Arab then it is obvious that islam is going to think all sorts of vile behaviours are fine and dandy, including pedophilia. Hopefully, the scum involved in this trial will cop long sentences in jail.
