“The morality police had largely pulled back following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini last September,” but now in a renewed campaign to force the Islamic headscarf on women, Shia Iran is living up to the Sharia with vigor, after weathering a year of protests.
(Quran 24:31) And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only what is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment except to their own husbands or fathers or husbands’ fathers, or their sons or their husbands’ sons, or their brothers or their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack desire, or children who know nothing of women’s nakedness. And do not let them stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn to Allah together, O believers, so that you may succeed.
If a woman does not cover, she is fair game to be assaulted….
(Quran 33:59) O prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their veils close around them. That will be better, so that they may be recognized and not molested.
“Iran’s morality police return in a new campaign to impose Islamic dress on women,” NPR, July 16, 2023:
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Iranian authorities on Sunday announced a new campaign to force women to wear the Islamic headscarf and morality police returned to the streets 10 months after the death of a woman in their custody sparked nationwide protests.
The morality police had largely pulled back following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini last September, as authorities struggled to contain mass protests calling for the overthrow of the theocracy that has ruled Iran for over four decades.
The protests largely died down earlier this year following a heavy crackdown in which over 500 protesters were killed and nearly 20,000 detained. But many women continued to flaunt the official dress code, especially in the capital, Tehran, and other cities.
The morality police were only rarely seen patrolling the streets, and in December, there were even some reports — later denied — that they had been disbanded.
Authorities insisted throughout the crisis that the rules had not changed. Iran’s clerical rulers view the hijab as a key pillar of the Islamic revolution that brought them to power, and consider more casual dress a sign of Western decadence.
On Sunday, Gen. Saeed Montazerolmahdi, a police spokesman, said the morality police would resume notifying and then detaining women not wearing hijab in public. In Tehran, the men and women of the morality police could be seen patrolling the streets in marked vans…..

Since Iran no longer has any friction w/ Saudi Arabia, & has a better relationship w/ both China and Turkey, it’s in an even better position to crack down on them than it was last year, before all those treaties that they’ve been signing

As for those naïve and unrealistic people who hope that the tyrannical Islamic regime of Iran, that officially has the title of “The Islamic Republic of Iran,” can somehow be reformed are actually reaching for a daydream that will never come to be.
The reason why this is so is because completely brutal cruel misogynistic and murderous in an actual vicious, literal, demonic sense.
There is nothing, at all good about that Islamic tyranny that would serve as a foundation to build genuine reform on.
To explain this in a Biblical way, that Islamic regime is so totally demonically crooked that it can’t even be straighten out with any method of reform. That horrendously vicious and wicked Islamic tyranny is totally lacking in any type of goodness that that it can’t ever be counted as a nation that has any regard or respect for basic human rights.
Likewise, the Bible reads, “What is crooked cannot be straightened; what is lacking cannot be counted.” Ecclesiastes 1:15. [N.I.V.]
That horrific Mullah regime” of Iran is only capable harm, misery and death. As the Bible informs its reader, “All the days of the oppressed are wretched.” Proverbs 15:15.
Walter Sieruk says
First, those brutal thugs who are called the “morality police” viciously had beaten the poor helpless young women, Mahsa Amini, to death. They murdered her.
That Islamic regime of Iran is so horrendously evil that it’s armed forces even murders children.
Second, the many murders of the Iranian protester by those in power in Iran in that Islamic tyrannical oppressive vicious cruel and deadly affront to all that is good decent just and right
As for Ebrahim Raisi and other higher ups, as Khamenei in that heinous tyranny I malicious orders are both despicable and unconscionable.
In addition , there is an old Latin saying that the Iranian people need to heed regarding those wicked oppressive tyrants that they exist under. That saying is ‘nil carborundum illegitimi” Which means “Don’t let the bastards grind you down.”
For Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei along with the other ayatollahs and mullahs who al have such terrible influence in Iran’s parliament are all indeed, bastards. Meaning they are all, as it’s been termed “Bastards of the Devil.”
For such dictators who viciously oppress the people are a reflection of the Bible’s book of Ecclesiastes which in 4:1 reads” I saw the oppressed – and they have no comforter: power was on the side of their oppressors.” [N.I.V.]
Likewise, in Proverbs 15:15 reads “All the days of the oppressed are wretched.”

The vicious Islamic “morality police” of Iran even go so far as to raise a terrible horrendous brutal fuss over a little bit of hair showing on a woman’s head to the point of murdering her not only proves true the old saying that “Evil is always looking for an excuse.” But this also further exposes the malicious and oppressive misogyny of Islam and of that Islamic tyranny of Iran..
For that vicious and cruel “mullah regime” of Iran is brutal and cruel violator of human rights. Especially regarding the human rights of girls and woman.
For example, to imprison women for not wearing the hijab is but one part of the anti-female tyranny of this tyrannical “mullah regime” of Iran.
That ruthless cruel brutal heinous Islamic regime of Iran that is so unfittingly has the word “Republic” in its title, for its called “The Islamic Republic of Iran” [ I R I].
That brutal cruel Islamic tyrannical regime of Iran is full of ruthless malicious misogyny.
On the topic of this Islamic tyranny of Iran, a former Muslim revealed, “The IRI system recognizes women as dependent upon men and incomplete human beings who need to be supervised and controlled by men and the State. This author further exposed that “Women are created for the purposes of giving pleasure to men and childbearing – functions that confine them to the home” This is a male Chauvinistic as can possibly be.
In addition, this writer further makes it known that “The IRI legal system still retains traditional patriarchal bias that can be described as nothing but systemic subordination of women, which is undoubtedly a human rights violation.”
This author further reveals, “Iran is of what Islamic fundamentalists desire, an Islamic State, and the consequence of achieving it “State Terror. Instead of utopia, Iran is an Islamic totalitarian nightmare…” and “the Islamic Republic of Iran exists and operates as what every Islamic fundamentalist dream of, an Islamic state ruled by Sharia …What followed its establishment was the inevitable consequence and inexorable logic of its Islamic premises; state terrorism, a merciless tyranny.” [1]
This heinous Islamic has been also exposed by another author who was born and lived in a Middle Eastern nation for many years. She wrote, “Female freedom and independence is one of the greatest sins in Islam…” and “Women in Islam are considered unclean, deemed inferior even to dirt.” [2]
All this is wicked, unjust and misogynistic to the extreme. Islam had not regard for human life, regardless of what the apologists for this religion will claim.

The murder malicious murder of Mahsa Amini and the vicious murder of teenage girls by those thugs in uniform who are the Islamic “police’ of that abomination of a tyranny of Iran is a most unconscionable evil of that misogyny filled Islamic tyranny of Iran.
This is a horrendous evil and isn’t an isolated incident when it comes to horrific human rights violations against girls and women in that hideous Islamic regime of Iran.
That cruel vicious murder of those young girls by the hooligan “police” of that Islamic tyranny is the result of that anti-female religion of Islam.
Now the most recent sharia violation charges against those to young actresses of not wearing their hijabs further proves the truth revealed by a scholar of Islam who revealed in her book “Control of behavior and disregard for human life are key elements in Islam ideology.” Furthermore, the author also exposed that `” Women is Islam are considered unclean, deemed inferior even to dirt.” [1]

Walter Sieruk says
That heinously cruel and murderous Islamic tyranny of Iran is very brutal and vicious to the Iranian people. Especially regarding females. Both girls and women.
The murder of Mahsa Amini is very sad and tragic and that horrendous evil of her being murdered is because of the oppressive vicious brutal cruel and deadly misogynistic Islamic regime of Iran.
That action of male Muslim who are officials murdering defenseless, helpless women in cold blood is a heinous and hideous has occurred before and if that murderous Islamic regime isn’t overthrown such wicked killing will continue
Another example of such callous despicable heartless anti-female evil is when a teenage girl in Iran was talking to her boyfriend on the phone and then the Islamic state “police” walked over to her and shot her dead. They did that wicked and malicious thing to her because she was talking to her boyfriend and they also didn’t like her clothing. [1]
That was a clear cut case of murder and vicious Islamic madness by Iran’s Islamic state “ police”, who call themselves the “Revolutionary Guards”, they got away with their hideous and malice –filled evil because the mullahs as well as other villains in power in that tyrannical Islamic regime.
