Judging jihadis to be mentally ill is a common practice among authorities who wish to deny the reality of Islamic jihad. And while Mamadou B. may actually be mentally ill, the “incoherent remarks” that he supposedly made in order to be judged mentally ill were apparently on the order of jihad threats: “He explained in particular that he had hidden a bag containing knives near the Vitry tramway, wanted to kill children or attack the elderly.” Perhaps if French authorities had a more realistic policy regarding jihad activity, Mamadou’s most recent victim might be still alive.

During his arrest for shoplifting, this Friday afternoon, July 14, Mamadou B., a man in his forties, told the police that he was the one who had pushed a 52-year-old woman onto the RER B tracks earlier in the day. He was taken into custody for murder before being taken to the I3P, the psychiatric hotel of the police headquarters.
According to our information, confirmed this Saturday evening by a judicial source, this same individual is a repeat offender. Indeed, on October 2, 2011, Mamadou B., then 30 years old, was taken into police custody after violently throwing a young man onto the tracks of the Strasbourg-Saint-Denis station. He had been the subject of proceedings for attempted murder which ended in a dismissal on the grounds of criminal irresponsibility on February 11, 2013. Hospitalized on October 30, 2011, the individual remained under a compulsory hospitalization measure for five years, repealed following the favorable opinion of a psychiatric college in 2016.
At the time, the victim had miraculously fallen into the anti-suicide pit and the driver of the train had had time to apply the brakes of his machine. The alleged pusher, meanwhile, had been interned in the psychiatric infirmary of the police headquarters when he made incoherent remarks to the investigators.

The scenario therefore seems to have repeated itself on July 14, 2023, almost twelve years after the first facts. With a much more tragic outcome and the death of this 50-year-old. This Friday, arrested by a patrol from the Vitry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne) emergency police brigade at 3:40 p.m. in an Auchan store, the individual again made “incoherent remarks,” according to a police source.He explained in particular that he had hidden a bag containing knives near the Vitry tramway, wanted to kill children or attack the elderly. A few hours earlier, at 9:30 a.m., it is therefore this same man who is suspected of having pushed a 52-year-old woman, of Algerian nationality, onto the tracks of the RER B at the Cité Universitaire station in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. If she managed to get up, indicates the Paris prosecutor’s office, she “could not avoid the train – which was traveling in the direction of the north – which hit her.” The victim did not survive.
Mamadou B. physically corresponds to the CCTV images of the station studied by the investigators, confirms a police source. A search of the suspect’s home yielded nothing. The investigations are continuing.
In 2011, the 25-year-old victim had “really fallen in the right place to avoid being electrocuted and being crushed by the oar,” said a police officer at the time. “He did not see his attacker coming, continued the same source. He didn’t say a single word. He just walked over to him, grabbed him tightly, and threw him onto the rails.”

In May, a 14-year-old girl, Raya, accidentally fell on the tracks just before the train entered the station. The young girl had not had time to get to safety and had been fatally caught by the oar.

I don’t think most Muslims are baying for the blood of those deemed enemies but a not infinitesimal minority do wish to harm non Muslims. Since it’s impossible to identify this minority the only way to protect oneself is to steer clear of all Muslims as a practical response to dire danger. These lawyers and judges are supposed to be our ‘intellectual superiors.’ They went through years of education and training to make “good decisions” regarding criminals and many of them earn a very high income for the positions that society gives them.
Yet they continue to make decisions an imbecile off the street would make, in fact the average person would have far more common sense than the asinine decisions that judges make. What do you need a judge for if you’re just going to release the murderous criminal after a 5 years? Fire the judges and give all these ‘insane’ criminals 5 yrs if that’s your standard and save taxpayer money, the end result will be the same.
Is it any wonder people lose faith in the judiciary and the police force (also media/politicians) when incidents like this keep happening? Not to mention when actual innocents have been wrongly jailed because they’re facing a cynical machine that just processes people without fair consideration?

Just because someone is not culpable for a violent crime due to mental illness doesn’t mean they can’t be kept away from the public indefinitely. Esp. because of their mental illness which cannot be cured, they should never be let out again…but put them in an institution where they get more freedom than regular jails.
However I think that this charade of treating jihadists as mental patients must end. They must be dealt with as terrorists and enemy combatants in war and executed.
