You won’t see the kinds of problems in Poland or Hungary that France is now having:
In the European Council, “conclusions are endorsed by consensus.” The responsible leaders of these two countries have been persistently vocal (and determined) about protecting their countries’ sovereignty, borders, and national security, even through years of EU bullying.
As the Associated Press reported:
Angered at being outvoted on a European Union migration agreement, Hungary and Poland vetoed Friday a statement by the bloc’s leaders on priorities for limiting the arrival of people into Europe without authorization.
The move — at the end of a two-day summit — was mostly a symbolic gesture of protest and though it torpedoed the joint statement, it had no direct impact on the EU’s migration policies.
However, it was an embarrassing public display of disunity at a time when attitudes have hardened as the entry of tens of thousands of people each year has fueled far-right sentiment at the ballot box in the 27-nation bloc.
Another report by Euronews featured the headline Poland and Hungary hijack EU summit with anti-migration demands. It wasn’t a hijack. Prior to the summit, Poland and Hungary were clear on their positions about the revising of rules to share hosting of asylum seekers more equitably. European interior affairs commissioner Ylva Johansson had commended the reforms as a “hugely significant step” for the EU on migration. But the reforms were actually nothing more than a renewed ploy to coerce EU members to adhere to the longstanding globalist open-door migration policy and establish EU country migrant quotas across the board, which Hungary and Poland will continue to resist. It was in step with the UN Migration Pact, which was fully embraced by the EU. As Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated about the new EU migration agreement:
The solidarity mechanism amounted to coercion and would lead to financial penalties for his own country.
“EU summit ends with a whimper as Poland and Hungary resist migration reform,” by Jorge Liboreiro, Euronews, June 30, 2023:
Poland and Hungary made good on their promise to prevent the European Council from adopting joint conclusions on migration.
The two countries, which have long held hard-line views on the reception and relocation of asylum seekers, put their foot down after long and intense discussions among the 27 heads of state and government.
The blockage, which began on Thursday and continued all through Friday, forced leaders to delete the migration section from the summit’s conclusions, wiping out several paragraphs that had been widely anticipated.
Charles Michel, the president of the European Council, issued instead a separate statement on his behalf, recycling wording from the rejected draft.
“There wasn’t unanimity, but there was a great deal of convergence, which was not at all there just a few years ago,” Michel said in a press conference.
“We got 25 out of 27 countries.”
The Polish-Hungarian opposition stems from a major deal struck earlier this month in Luxembourg, where home affairs ministers agreed to move forward with a proposed reform of the EU’s migration policy.
The overhaul, which stills need to be negotiated with the European Parliament, is based on a new system of “mandatory solidarity” and offers member states three options to collectively deal with migration flows:
Accept a number of relocated asylum seekers.
Pay €20,000 for each rejected applicant….

I comment those 2 Countries for having the gonads to stick to their wisdom of keeping these muslim invading hordes outside their borders.
2 sane Countries out of 27 willfully mental retarded ones.
The EU is a shame of biblical proportions and they will cause and end to their civilization.

Hey Charles Michel ,
Why are you so determined that Europe should commit suicide ?
So what’s going on here ? Who is paying you to stab Europe in the back ?!
These so-called “migrants” just want to smash the place up , and everybody knows it .
Soros sure must have given you Politcians tons of money .
Pathetic and Treasonous !

I agree!

Absolutely, they had full notice and the EU’s response was to begin loosening the standards in order to disallow veto of proposals. France and Germany at the helm, of course. As the two dissenters asked, what happened to,”Wir schaffen das?” and they followed with, since they obviously cannot schaffen das, why should everyone else then assume responsibility?

Your neighbour unilaterally invites anybody from the street to come live with them for free, lets them get away with anything, sometimes even sending taxis to bring more people in the middle of the night. So many have come your neighbours can’t cope with the costs or damage caused by the “guests” but keep inviting even more nonetheless. Instead of shutting their doors and throwing all the freeloaders out, your neighbours want you to put their never-ending overflow up, indefinitely, at your own expense and if you don’t agree to that obvious idiocy you must pay your neighbours vast sums of money every year or they’ll drag you through small claims courts endlessly.
Who in their right mind would agree to either alternative?
After long years of failing to secure their borders, deal with migrant transgressions very firmly, not deporting rejected applicants or even calling for 100s of 1000s more to come, Germany and others with the same self-inflicted problems voted themselves the EU Asylum And Migration Pact by “qualified majority” to bypass the pesky vetos of member states that take their border security seriously. With “friends” like that Poland and Hungary need no other enemies.
And now, we have one Donald Tusk, “Merkel’s poodle”, the Polish Joe Robinette (smirk!) Biden, a man who was all for open borders and unlimited immigration when he infested the halls of Brussels, a man who criticised the firm stance of Poland’s ruling party not admitting muslim immigration, a man who is now exploiting the riots in France to position himself as a staunch populist only interested in the welfare of Poland. A bigger case of “wolf in sheep’s clothing” I have never seen. Woe betide Poland if he gets elected. He would do all these in short order: sing Poland up to the EU Migration Pact, sign Poland up to the UN Migration Pact, accept any amount of unwanted migrants from Western and Southern Europe, stop the building of the fence on Kaliningrad-Russia border, dismantle the fence on Belarus border and pull the majority of the 7500 personnel protecting it now.

Thank you, Poland & Hungary. Hope that some day sooner rather than later, every European country has a government that has immigration policies identical to yours, no matter what their other policy differences may be

We need Poland & Hungary to stand firm when the libtard countries like France & Sweden start collapsing.

I am polish, and I am glad to read that, but regardless, I heard that the ruling party PiS does import migrants to Poland anyway, but more like to work here not to claim benefits and welfare state.
I have been living in the UK for years, but now I am on holiday here in PL, visiting my family, and it feels nice, when everyone everywhere is white and polish compared to the mess in England.
I heard that there are many ukrainians, who tortured and slaughtered a lot of poles during IIWW, but I can hardly see any of them, perhaps they’re hiding?
I saw on polish TV politicians from other parties, saying that Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is a liar, (really?) and some other german politics condemned him, saying this is just a political move, to not import those orcs to Poland, to help them get votes in elections. Those people are pathetic!
Anyway, it’s a shame what happens to the european nations… Feels like a nightmare to read that Sweden the nation of blue eyed blondes is just like another England… Bad, really bad.
Anyway, thank you for all these positive comments about my Country & Hungary :-). Feels like a relief to be polish citizen.
Too bad what happened to Anastasia in Greece though…
I think that there is another election in Poland this October, but like I say, I heard from some poles that PiS says they don’t import migrants from Asia or Africa, but they really do. City where I am from in Greatern Poland is free from the asylum seekers though. It’s peaceful and quiet around here. A lot of cars, roads and thieves though, just like anywhere else on this planet…
The news I read about what’s happening in the UK disgusts me, but I live in a posh area, that is still quite safe and a good place to live.
I wonder if Russia is not going to invade UK though? Which Country is safer to live? Are russians going to invade Poland and UK someday?

Both Poland and the UK are members of NATO. Russia has never invaded a NATO nation. This, at least, it probably not a danger.

The issue is not so much immigration itself, but muslim immigration. Like the argument that Hungary made was that it was fine w/ accepting European immigrants, but that African immigrants ought to immigrate to other African countries, which would be culturally more compatible w/ them
As long as Poland keeps out muslims, you’re good. Even if you take in Ukrainians, Belarussians, even Englishmen ?. Or if there are Asians & Africans, only take in the non-muslims
As for Russia, I don’t see them invading anybody. In fact, they wouldn’t even have invaded Ukraine had Kamala Harris not invited Ukraine to join NATO, which would have put NATO troops some 300 miles from Moscow

Wake up non-islamic countries, Islam wants to rule you next with an iron hand.

Sad to see European leaders utterly ignorant of Islam and Muslims. They all should read the history of Islam and Muslims, especially in India. History proves Islam is incompatible with humanity. Muslims will never integrate and live in harmony with non-Muslims Where in the majority, Muslims never tolerate non-Muslims – whereas in the minority, Muslims make the life of non-Muslims hell. India is a prime example. In the constitution, every citizen of India is equal. That’s not good enough for Muslims. They want special status and privileges and do everything to impose their cult and regressive religious laws on non-Muslims, and terrorize non-Muslims.
