Will the Islamophobia never end?
“Young man in Egypt murdered by colleague using bulldozer ‘because he is Christian,’” Open Doors, July 12, 2023:
A young man in Egypt was tragically murdered by a colleague who later told police, “I hate Christians; I killed him because he is Christian.”
Fadi was an architect who had been working for the company for several years, with Mohammed recently joining as a bulldozer driver. On 15 May, a week after Fadi’s birthday, Mohammed was in the bulldozer when he turned from digging to attack Fadi, who was overseeing work. Fadi tried to escape but Mohammed pursued him until he was killed.
Family forgives killer
Mohammed confessed to the crime and spent four days in prison, before being sent to a mental health hospital for treatment. It’s unclear to what extent, if at all, psychological issues contributed to this attack, but they are often cited by Muslim extremists to explain their attacks against Christians to avoid prosecution – and it works.
Like so many families who’ve been affected by persecution in Egypt, there is no guarantee that Fadi’s family will receive justice from the legal system. Despite this uncertainty and the anguish they are in, they have already decided to forgive Mohammed….

Some Christians are under the mistaken idea that they must always forgive whatever is done to them. some cite what Jesus said to Peter about “forgiving up to 77 times.”
However, Jesus said that was to be the case where a “brother comes to me and asks” to be forgiven, if he comes that many times to ask for forgiveness, then he is to be forgiven each time..
If a person, such as this rabid mozlum, murders a Christian, the victim’s family is under no obligation to forgive the murderer. Only if he truly repents and **asks** to be forgiven.
God and His Son do not forgive those who do not repent and seek forgiveness.
This murderer should be reaping the same thing he did to the Christian. But for a different reason; he is a murderer and has forfeited his life.

“God and His Son do not forgive those who do not repent and seek forgiveness.”
Correct – they will be forgiven.
But they’ll still have to complete their full sentence – here on earth.
somehistory says
Being forgiven doesn’t mean we escape the consequences of whatever we have done. But it does mean that we won’t be punished with forever punishment; we are still eligible for Life Eternal due to God’s mercy.

They forgave him?!? And his direct statement was ‘ “I hate Christians; I killed him because he is Christian.”
And they forgave him?
Why? Probably because if they didn’t express this they’d be hated by muslims who would accuse them of being hypocrites or whatever.
How awful. How very awful.

Some day murderers will face God and cry !
Fitna says
Nice fantasy but that’ll never happen.
Heaven and hell are right here on Earth, this is the only life we’ll ever get. So if Christians want ‘revenge’ this is the only place they’ll get it.
People talk about an afterlife when there is no evidence for one.
It’d make far more sense for Christians and other non-Muslims to unite and defeat Islam, instead of letting them pick us off one by one.
Inna says
Christians do not want revenge because they believe in an absolute just God who will judge each men and no Christian wishes even the biggest enemy this judgement.
Also Christian believe in Heaven (where they will be with God because they believe in Jesus Christ as their redeemer) and in hell (which is the absolute absence of God and men go who do not trust in Christ). God still shines his presence on this earth therefore we can bear a lot of pain here, but in hell their is just absence of God, it is such a horrific place none Christian would wish somebody to go there for eternity. Rather we pray for our enemies so they come to faith in Jesus Christ.
We forgive as Christ has forgiven us.
If all of this is nonsense then Christians are the poorest persons on earth as they waste the best possible live here, but if Jesus Christ is the living Son of God who died for our sins then all persecution is worth believing in him as the best is to come and then for eternity.
As Christ redeems a sinner just by grace there is nothing a person can add to his salvation.

The implication that ergo no Christian wants to see justice here on earth–or even embraces evil and injustice–is mistaken.

Yes, just as those who won’t see a doctor because they believe that if they are meant to stay alive, they will and if not, then they die.
However, Luke was a Christian and a physician, and the Bible says nothing about avoiding going to the doctor. It also doesn’t say that when we are wronged, we just wait for Divine Justice and don’t want to see anyone put in prison or receive a death penalty. In fact, Paul wrote about the “reason the authorities bear the sword.”
The fact is, we don’t seek to punish the offender, but we do not have to forgive every evil thing done to us.

To think that the Virgin Mary appeared in cairo in 1968 for several years. Tens of thousands of christians and muslims witnessed it and many were healed. lf She hadn’t appeared at that time, many christians would have been slaughtered because muslims were preparing a huge terrorist attack. These egyptian muslims have very short memories. Even if this idiot is young, his relatives and others must have told him about this incredible phenomenon – how could you forget something like this?. President nasser even improved relations with christians because of it.
lt’s supposed to be the greatest marian apparition the world has ever seen. Everyone could see Her. lt was all over the media of the time.
John1 says
Mary appeared over a Coptic (Christian) church. NOT a mosque. What does that tell you?
Old Brummie says
The only way we can defeat terrible people is by being even more terrible than them Christians will never do that.

Christians have defended themselves before without turning into savages. But Christians in Egypt are a persecuted minority, and they have few protections.
John1 says
The only viable Christian community in the Middle East is the Aramaic Christians in Lebanon. They don’t start fights with Muslims but when attacked they strike back harder, and the Muslims behave themselves…….for a while…….
notoislam says
This is the most common sense answer to read about dealing with filthy moslems. When will Christians start acting like those from Lebonon?

There are no firm figures, but Christians probably make up over 40% of the population in Lebanon (just decades ago they were the majority, but they are still a large minority).
Christians in Egypt make up less than 10% of the population. They are more endangered.
Walter Sieruk says
As seen in this murderous incident in Egypt there are many Muslims who strongly dislike Christians. Some Muslims even hate Christians so much that they even become violence against them and burn their Bibles. One reason for this is that in the mosques and madrasas the Muslim clerics, as the imams who speak many awful and unproven terrible things against Christians and Christian doctrine. So much so the many Muslims get all worked up against Christians and Christian teachings and some those Muslims commit violent actions against Christians. Such false religious teachers, as those Muslim clerics, who speak to people unfounded and invalid evil things about Christians and Christian doctrines have been described in the Bible. For the Bible informs the reader in Second Peter 2:12. “They speak evil of things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption.” [N.K.J.V.]
It also should be make clear that in this specific above Bible verse, as well as in John 3:16. The word “Perish” does not mean loss of being but loss of well-being. As in going to ruin by ending up in languishing in torment in a terrible place of suffering that the Bible calls hell. Luke 16:19-31.
Walter Sieruk says
A terrible number of Muslims because of their religion despise Christianity and Christians. Therefore, those Muslims persecute Christians.
This occurs, repeatedly, many times over in different nations. Such as Egypt, Pakistan, and Iran.
Christians do trust in Jesus and likewise pay heed to His teachings, or they should.
Jesus taught, “By their fruit you will know them.” Matthew 7:20. [N.K.J.V.] The many fruits of Islam are evil One on Islam many wicked fruits is Muslim hate and violence against Christians, sometimes-deadly violence. As observed In Pakistan Egypt and Iran
Another evil fruit of Islam is that brutal, cruel oppressive malicious and murderous Islamic regime of Iran, which denies the Iranian people their basic natural human rights.
In addition, The Iranian people are right and righteous by engaging in bitter and strong protests against those cruel malicious and murderous tyrants in power of that cruel and oppressive Sharia based dictatorship of that Islamic regime of Iran.
In other words, those vicious despots of that horrendously horrific Islamic regime have provoked the people way too far.

Horrifying but this is orthodox Islam. No “mental health issues” here.
