Italy’s new law does not specifically target Muslims, but all prayer spaces that are not formally approved for worship. The vague coverage in the media (see HERE and HERE) emphasizes how Muslims will be affected, since they are particularly noted for establishing unofficial prayer spaces.
The Middle East Monitor states that “the bill would mainly affect Italy’s Muslim community.” “Mainly affect” does not mean “exclusively affect.” The inconvenient truth, which is never discussed in media, is that Islam was established upon conquest, with too many adherents still adhering to the principle of conquest, including stealth jihad. The Sharia is a religious, political, social and economic system. It is considered to be divine law and is all-encompassing, hence valid concerns are warranted about unvetted Islamic groups, particularly given the global jihad, both stealth and violent. Normative Islam is inherently supremacist and expansionary.
In France, Macron asked the public for help in 2018 as a result of losing control over Islam-dominated no-go areas. France has since taken a tougher position on “radical Islam,” and by 2021, France had shut down nearly 30 mosques in less than a year.
In Italy, over 1,000 associations which are difficult to keep track of may now be closed under the new law. Italy’s law, although not explicitly described in media, is likely based on the problem of stemming the spread of jihad ideology, amid a lack of vetting Islamic groups which may be opposed to Italy’s democracy as a democratic republic. But it is described in media as “discriminatory” despite applying to all religions. The law’s expectations according to lawmaker Fabrizio Rossi, forces “cultural centres to obtain permission if they want to use their spaces for prayer.”

A controversial law proposed by the ruling far-right coalition has again brought Muslims and their places of worship to the fore of Italy’s political discourse.
If passed, the law could shut down hundreds of Islamic prayer spaces, a prospect triggering alarm within the country’s 2.5 million-strong Muslim community.
Opposition politicians are also up in arms against a bill that they believe is unconstitutional and a form of “unacceptable discrimination.”
Presented by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers of Italy party, the bill will target prayer spaces that are not in mosques or those that have never received formal approval to be used for worship, such as the premises of various Muslim cultural organisations.
“It’s absurd. It will go against the freedom of practicing a religion, when the state should actually be creating conditions allowing people to exercise their right to practice any religion,” said Yassine Lafram, president of the Union of Islamic Communities and Organisations in Italy (UCOII).
According to a UCOII report published in 2017, there were 1,217 Muslim prayer spaces in Italy.
Only six of these were officially mosques – and recognisable as such because of the typical architectural features like minarets – and roughly another 50 were authorised to be used for worship.
The rest were classified primarily as cultural associations but were also used as prayer spaces, with most of them set up in garages, warehouses, apartments and basements, according to the UCOII report.
The bill, which aims to clamp down on these places, has a provision that would allow prayers there only if the religious activities in question are regulated by an agreement with the Italian state….

Islam is famous for tolerating other religions and allowing their religious buildings, like temples, synagogues and churches. Like the Hagia Sophia. Of course they insist on the right to freedom of religion, until they have a large enough share of the population to impose sharia law on all other religions.

Some have suggested that Islam is stripped of its religious status and declared an ideology.
I think there is merit to this idea, because although Islam does have some religious features like prayer, dress, a book, etc…it largely hides a fascist ideology underneath, which has nothing to do with religion, but replacing our legal system, our rule of law, and to have our gov’t run by Islamic rule.
That would put it on the same level as Communism and Nazism. Then once we treat it as an ideology, it can no longer hide under the cover of ‘racism’ as it has done cleverly for so long.
The trouble is who is going to do this? We see some small pushback like the example in this video. So the authorities have two options…declare Islam an enemy ideology and fight it that way, or do it quietly and stealthily but it’d be difficult to hide because there are idiots on the Left who will expose this plan.
Ofc Leftists continue to be useful idiots for this death cult making the problem harder to deal with. We need an anti-Islam mass movement and parties who feel the same way. Ofc they’re going to call them Nazis, racists, fascists but you can’t cave to the violent backlash, because obviously Muslims don’t want to leave voluntarily so it’ll have to be do by force, through the state.
You can have a system where Muslims are given the option of leaving Islam or leave the country. If anyone still adheres to the ideology or preaches it, etc…then deport them the same day. This way those Muslims who’ve done nothing wrong have the privilege of remaining…which is much more than they’d do for us if they got power.
I can see something like this happening in countries where the Islamic infestation is worse, like Holland, Sweden and France, but ofc you’re going to need smart, strong leaders to make it happen.

I just read an article where a Christian group opposes the PVV, Geer Wilder’s anti-Islam party, because of ‘religious discrimination’ against Islam. They want the usual bromides, freedom of religion, no racism against Muslims, blah blah blah.
So if this one small group still thinks Islam is an harmless religion, imagine what most of the population thinks?
There still exists a huge knowledge gap for the masses out there. Those of us who regularly visit this site and similar ones just take for granted that everyone else knows what we know…but in fact we’re a small group that is enlightened on Islam.
What needs to be done is to educate as many people as possible on Islam, esp the media/politicians and the ruling class, the people in the position to do the most to fight Islam.
Muslims will do to us what the Nazis did to Europe and other countries who refused to educate themselves on their ideology and to mount a fight back.
If anything we need to put JihadWatch on every computer out there, if it were possible….then people can read and learn for themselves.

Merriam-Webster defines (religious) cult as:
“a small religious group that is not part of a larger and more accepted religion and that has beliefs regarded by many people as extreme or dangerous”

Islam is certainly not small, however the rest of the definition would fit.
I’ve always personally struggled with the categorization of islam as being a protected religion.
I currently (and, yes, subject to change) believe that islam is a very evil religion – and that all muslims / imams / mosques should be in strict compliance with ALL US laws. Of course, that would make it very difficult for muslims to practice their putrid religion.
How I wish that US entities like the IRS did not categorize islam as a religion. The tax advantages amount to “aiding and abetting” by the US government.
