Oddly enough, the Jains did not find their new neighbors as tolerant and peaceful as they had been universally touted to be.

In western UP, a strange case has come to light in which Lord Chandraprabhu is being made to flee from a 500-year-old Jain temple. The incident involves a former Jain-dominated village in the Budhana tehsil of Muzaffarnagar district. Previously, the village’s landlord belonged to the Jain community, but now due to demographic changes, it has become a Muslim-dominated area.
Following a series of murders, dacoity committed in Hussainpur Kalan village, the villagers have been forced to migrate to another place. The only thing that remains of the community is the 500-year-old Jain temple and murtis of Lord Chandraprabhu.
The situation has worsened so much that Jain society is now bringing the murtis of Lord Chandraprabhu Samosharan ji from Hussainpur to Muzaffarnagar. Today, not only the Jain community was displaced from Hussainpur Kalan, but Lord Chandraprabhu, the eighth Tirthankara of the Jain sect, also had to be displaced.
The reason for being displaced is the increase of Muslim population in the village. As soon as the Muslim population increased in Hussainpur Kalan, gradually the Hindus and Jains started leaving the village. A time came when only Lord Chandraprabhu’s murti was left in the village. No one had even imagined that when the Muslim population increased, they would have to run away from their own village.
About 500 years old Jain temple of Shri 1008 Chandraprabhu Bhagwan of Jain society is situated in village Hussainpur Kalan, five km away from Budhana town. A total of 11 murtis are present in this temple along with Mulnayak Chandraprabhu. Three of these murtis are ancient….

A real minority is just 5% or less of any population. For instance, in any country, if men outnumber women by, say, 55-45, women don’t count as a minority. Neither do men if the numbers were reversed
In India, Jains are a real minority – just a handful of a few million: worldwide, even fewer than Jews. All those minority schemes in India, which are monopolized by muslims, ought to be available only to Jains, Buddhists, Parsis, Jews & Sikhs, and maybe in a few states, Christians. But it’s ridiculous to give muslims minority benefits anywhere in India, especially since there are 2 countries that were carved out of it in the name of islam
Also, on the above story, whatever happened to that great Yogi Adityanath, who some Hindus who refuse to see anything wrong w/ the BJP, are touting as the next prime minister? This is his state where this is happening

The present government should do some drastic steps to protect Hindu religion’s. All concession given to Muslims in guice of minority must be forthwith removed. Relegion agams should be thought in schools. Only then the Muslim community will be reformed otherwise they will remain terrorising otheres. It is this community that needs to be though how to behave. If this government does not act fast then we will only have to leave it to God to protect us HINDUS. ?
