In an address to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) on Monday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the United states would use all means to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
“There is no danger that Israel faces that is greater than the one posed by the Iranian regime,” Blinken said. “That regime routinely threatens to wipe Israel off the map. It continues to provide weapons to terrorists and proxies like Hezbollah and Hamas, who reject Israel’s right to exist.”
Blinken said, however, that the Biden administration continues to believe that a diplomatic solution would be the best way to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, but said that if Iran rejects the path of diplomacy that “all options are on the table.” Blinken added that the administration’s “three-pronged approach” of diplomacy, economic pressure, and military deterrence has bi-partisan support, and that this year the US and Israel will hold more joint military exercises than ever before.
Current and former Israeli officials on Thursday reacted negatively to news reports that the United States is considering a new diplomatic push to return to some form of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action – the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video saying that Israel would do “whatever it needs to” to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, while former Israeli ambassador to the UN Danny Danon said a return to the deal would be “a historic mistake and a disaster for generations to come.”
“It is not possible or logical to sign an agreement with a murderous terrorist state whose aim is to destroy Israel and the US,” Danon wrote on Twitter. “Iran’s dangerous nuclear project can only be shut down with crippling sanctions and a credible military threat.”…

Don’t believe anything that Blinken says. He is a liar (e.g., averring he had nothing to do with the Hunter Biden laptop story, whereby some 51 “American intelligence experts” opined that said laptop was “Russian disinformation”).

The downside of freedom is that you can end up being ruled by incompetent morons who don’t take threats to their nation and the world, seriously.
They must foolishly believe Iran is a problem only for Israel, forgetting that to Iran, America is the ‘Great Satan’ and they intend to conquer or destroy the West.
Iran doesn’t even have to have a nuclear arsenal to take out the US. All they need to do is launch one nuke at a high altitude above America and detonate it and the EMP will fry all electronics across the country, putting Americans back in the stone age.
No more cars, no power, no tv or cell phones…no hospitals, running water or other services we all take for granted. The US utility grid has not been hardened against an EMP attack and it’d 2 years to build the transformers needed to get the system back online.
This will off course lead to the deaths of millions from starvation and a lack of water…it also leaves the US open to invasion from enemies.
Not only it is important to neutralize Iran’s nuke program, but to harden the grid against nukes that could come from Pakistan, China or Russia.
Complacency reined before 9/11…after the attack they became more vigilant, but then went back to sleep. So how many large scale attacks do Americans, esp. the elites need to suffer from until they realize they have enemies who seek their annihilation?
Ofc this is no surprise that Dems would be this weak, pathetic and useless, esp. when it comes to dealing with terrorist states.
I’ve watched a ton of tv shows and movies that have been educating us for so long and few people listen or pay attention…moral of the story is don’t take your freedoms for granted, defeat your enemies or you could end up in a dystopian hell hole that you might never recover from.
This isn’t rocket science, if Hollywood could figure that out, why can’t the US gov’t with all it’s extensive resources still remain so clueless?
Lastly if America is too afraid to do the dirty work, then why not give the tools to Israel who will fix this mess for all of us?
