Seems to me that whoever controls the USA military/CIA/Pentagon will win any new American Civil War, especially given that, as Robert says, it will not be a geographically divided war.
This is why Obama began to cull the officer ranks of the military and bureaucracy. This is why “white supremacist” groups are falsely identified as the greatest threat to America. No more are “rebel” or “patriot” groups able to hide in the hills and forests given today’s surveillance technology (satellites, drones, heat imaging, communications listening/tracking tech, etc.)
Any Soros-like group making detailed plans to control and pay off the media (as Robert mentions) would not neglect a detailed plan to control the military.

Glenn Beck pointed out that whoever controls the military, is in control.
That is why those who rejected the clot shot, those who reject the ideas put forth by the pretend government, have been kicked out; and that is why those who pretend to be a different gender and the homosexuals, are those who are celebrated in the military of today.

About the parallels b/w then and now, as you point out, there is a divide in quite a few states. While we usually just divide b/w red and blue states, truth remains that there are a lot of red areas in the likes of California, New York and Illinois: in fact, their only blue areas are their major cities – San Francisco, NYC, Chicago… In the meantime, there are a lot of blue cities all over red America – cities like Atlanta, Phoenix, Memphis, Tuscaloosa, Austin, Dallas, Omaha and so on. In fact, only major red city I have seen that is compatible w/ its state is Anchorage, AK
About the presidents, it’s one thing that President Trump has been bashing Ron DeSantis, and to the extent it sticks, it could last even in 2028, when Trump will (presumably) no longer be running. It’s another thing altogether when he follows Nikki Haley’s footsteps and trashes him over Disney, where I fully agree w/ the governor
In fact, in the event President Trump’s numbers implode or he continues to be this undisciplined, I plan to switch support to Vivek Ramaswamy, not any Kennedy. I’ve been seeing a number of his conversations w/ a lot of people, from former AG Barr to Dana Loesch. And he does a great job holding his own even in hostile channels, like when he schooled Chuck Todd about there being only 2 sexes/genders. He started off as a crusader against woke companies, but now he’s embraced a lot of other cultural issues, be it the Second Amendment, Faith and opposition to LGBTQIA+ grooming of kids

I forgot to add: in answer to the question about the geopolitical situation, I agree w/ you. There was one more point you overlooked: that the US dollar is no longer a reserve currency, and neither is the Euro or the Pound-Sterling. As a result of the way Russia was so quickly cancelled by the Western Capital Markets, all these other countries – from Saudi Arabia to Indonesia have become very wary of the West and are now doing deals in their own currencies w/o involving any of the above. And that is not coming back: having discovered how to trade w/ each other and get what they want w/o parting w/ what was once as precious to them as gold, those countries are not gonna go back even if the entire West changes its tune

The global jihad used to brag that they would split up the country into zones (White zone, Black zone, Muslim zone, etc.), and the Muslims would unite with the zones of the non-Whites, playing up their “oppressed” status. It was a divide and then unite and conquer thing.
