There is no indication in the article below of who has done this. It could have been anyone. But is it possible, just possible, that this had something to do with this Qur’an passage? “When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks…” (47:4)
After all, many people who believe that this passage about cutting off heads is holy writ also believe that Christianity is a false religion and that they are commanded to fight unbelievers so that Allah may punish them by the hands of the believers (cf. Qur’an 9:14-15). They are also likely familiar with the Qur’an’s suggestion that the destroyed remnants of ancient non-Muslim civilizations are a sign of Allah’s punishment of those who rejected his truth: “Many were the ways of life that have passed away before you: travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who rejected truth.” (Qur’an 3:137) The ruins of non-Muslim civilizations thus bear witness to the truth of Islam. What ensues from that idea? The creation of more ruins.
Maybe it’s just a coincidence. But large numbers of people who believe these things have entered France in recent years. However, given the political situation and the state of the establishment media there, we will likely never know for sure who committed this crime.

As you get more Muslims in a society, you are bound to get more of these types of attacks, because, as in the Koran, there is so much hatred, and zero tolerance for the non-believers in islam. I could never imagine a Buddhist attacking a Christian church or symbol because Buddhists do not get fed the intolerance and hatred that Muslims get fed. Of course, I suppose the attacker could also have been some atheistic marxist with a hatred for all religions, religion being the opium of the people according that deadshit marx. I have worked with some left wingers who loathed religions of any type and I could imagine such creatures might indulge in this attack although I think it is most likely the action of a Muslim with their entrenched intolerance and hate of non-Muslims.

Hey Tim, the other possibility is the attacker could have been one of the growing number of rape victims from the Catholic churches paedophilia crisis.
It has transpired that a couple of cases overseas have been the result of this.

That’s a possibility, Keith O. I’m with you in betting that it would be one of the ferocious, hate filled and so often violent Muslims. As I mentioned I have also worked with some far left marxists who seemed to loathe any religion so much that they could do such a thing, but, I suspect, that they would never actually bother to carry out such an action. Like you, I’m betting on it being a Muslim. islam is such force for all types of evil actions.

Good point, abu taleb. There seem to be plenty of enemies of Christianity around these days. One thing is for sure though, if a country has Muslims in that country there will be more attacks on Christian churches and statues, etc, that is for sure.

Whats the big deal it’s only a statue of the Virgin Mary. Ok then let’s burn every Quran we find, after all they are just paper and cannot have a belief. If it is not ok to burn the Quran because it is a religious item then destroying another religions symbols is just as wrong.
