The official story is that Israeli forces killed Shireen Abu Akleh accidentally. Supporters of the “Palestinian” jihad of course insist that the killing was intentional. Meanwhile, filmmaker Pierre Rehov conducted an independent investigation and found that “Palestinian” forces actually killed her.
Abu Akleh was a Melkite Greek Catholic, and so a one-year memorial was recently held for her in a Melkite church in Jerusalem. The memorial placed heavy emphasis on the evils of Israel, despite the fact that Christians have it better in the Jewish state than in the surrounding Muslim countries. Dhimmi communities learned centuries ago that total identification with the Muslim outlook and priorities was one way to relieve the constant pressure upon them; Melkite Greek Catholics have become so accustomed to accepting the Islamic point of view on the “Palestinian” issue that they take it for granted as axiomatic, heedless of the fact that the same jihad that is directed against Israel would subjugate and, indeed, has subjugated them as well.
The identification of Melkite Greek Catholics with Muslims and Islam is so complete that Gregory III Laham, the Patriarch of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church fr0m 2000 to 2017, even proudly called the Melkite Greek Catholic Church the “Church of Islam.” He also claimed that Islamic jihad attacks against Middle Eastern Christians were a “Zionist conspiracy against Islam,” and exclaimed, again proudly, that “no one defends Islam like Arab Christians.” Great, Greg. But did the Muslim Arabs defend Christianity? That point he never addressed.
Gregory III Laham was not alone: the close relationship between some Middle Eastern Catholic bishops, including Melkites, to the “Palestinian” jihadis and other Muslims in the Middle East should be an embarrassment to the entire Roman Catholic Church, but of course it isn’t. Melkite Archbishop Hilarion Capucci, who died on January 1, 2017, was such a stooge for the “Palestinians” that he was known as the “Chaplain of the PLO.”
I have personally never encountered such rabid Jew-hatred as I did in the Melkite Greek Catholic Church. When one Melkite bishop in the United States was once asked why he disliked Pamela Geller; he responded: “She’s a Jew,” and that was a good enough explanation for the assembled clergy. If you don’t endorse the jihad against Israel and oppose the jihad elsewhere as well, you simply aren’t welcome in the Melkite Church.
While Christians in Muslim countries are being slaughtered, exiled, subjugated, and/or forced to convert in numbers never before seen in history, all by Muslims acting in the name of Islam and in accord with its teachings, these hate-filled clerical dhimmis carry water for their killers and rail against Jews and Israel, where Christians live as full citizens.

Occupied East Jerusalem – The sound of hymns and the smell of incense filled the chapel where hundreds of people gathered for a memorial mass to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the killing of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
The service, organised by her family and friends, was at the al-Liqaa Melkite Greek Catholic Church in the Beit Hanina neighbourhood in occupied East Jerusalem on Sunday.
“The bullet that killed her left us all in pain and changed our entire lives,” Linah Abu Akleh, Shireen’s niece, told Al Jazeera at the church.
“One year on, our family is still fighting for justice. One year on, we are still in pain over this insurmountable loss,” she said.
A large photo of Shireen sat on a table lined with white roses, candles and crosses at the head of the chapel as the congregants honoured her and prayed for her soul.
Priests and ministers offered communion to mourners and surrounded her photo with incense, to symbolise prayers for her rising to heaven.
Shireen was a 51-year-old Palestinian American TV correspondent for Al Jazeera Arabic and a household name for more than 25 years.
On May 11, one year will have passed since she was shot dead by an Israeli soldier while doing her job covering the occupation.
She was killed while wearing a clearly marked press vest and helmet, reporting on an Israeli army raid on the Jenin refugee camp in the north of the occupied West Bank.
Her killing caused outrage across the world, and particularly among Arabs and Palestinians….
Dina Nasser, another friend of Shireen’s who attended the service, said: “Shireen was a symbol for Palestinian women and Palestinians.
“She was the voice for the vulnerable, the underprivileged, the voice for Palestinians and the Palestinian struggle”.

Robert is very good at repeatedly reciting Koranic verses demeaning to Jews, yet he fails to make the link between those verses and their translation into the Islamic canonic code (Sharia), under the code of Dhimmitude.
The survival of the Jewish people in a free society, will not only depend on Israel’s military power but more so on the abolition of Dhimmitude.

In a church “mass.” I’m not Catholic, but I was under the impression that these had to be paid for by family and friends of the deceased.
Was this “palestinian” a Catholic? If so, why was she such a friend and “voice” for palestinians who are frequently terrorists and known liars?
She was a “voice for their *struggle*”…which means she was in favor of the thing about “from the river to the sea.” Because their “struggle” is all about the death of the Jews and the end of Israel.
The church people may claim to be Christian, and they may offer “prayers,” but their “fruit is rotten” due to the lies they are enabling; and the prayers may be as those where God says His ears are “closed” and He has “turned away.”
