A Look at Hamas-Linked CAIR’s ‘Beyond the Courts’ Report

News12’s Syma Chowdhry begins her report by telling us that “anti-Muslim incidents are up, right here in New Jersey,” according to a new report from the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in New Jersey.

But she never defines what an anti-Muslim incident is, or gives us any examples of such incidents. For that kind of information, we have to actually go and read CAIR’s “Beyond the Courts” report.

Under the section of CAIR’s report entitled “Case Highlights,” we are introduced to the story of Thuraya Zeidan:

a public high school teacher and an adjunct professor, who was attacked for her public stance on Palestine. Thuraya kept her job and CAIR-NJ seriously entertained a defamation suit against the online organization StopAntisemitism for their social media post

Well, they can consider it as seriously as they want, but here is her StopAntisemitism profile, and there is no defamation going on there at all.

Similarly, CAIR-NJ stood with Professor and Westfield BOE Vice President Sahar Aziz who was verbally attacked for her tweets in support of Palestine.

Sahar Aziz was endorsing the phrase “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” which many people consider to be a call to destroy Israel. She is also a fellow traveler of CAIR. Here is CAIR thanking her for her help in one of CAIR’s other reports. And here she is at the press conference about Mohamed Khairullah’s disinvitation from a party at the White House.

There are very few footnotes in CAIR’s report detailing case studies. But there are a few, including this:

On 4 May 2022, a Subaru employee who worked as a mechanic reported to the Union Police department that bacon strips were placed into the boots and pockets of his work uniform. The incident was covered on ABC.

Indeed it was. This is a ridiculous story about a mechanic who is more afraid of bacon than anti-freeze.

Some of the incidents described in CAIR’s report show that CAIR actually had little or no involvement in them.

CAIR-NJ communicated with the YMCA which was happy to accommodate and iterate that this behavior was not welcome.

CAIR-NJ advised her to file a criminal complaint with the municipal court for restitution.

CAIR-NJ organized a community event with numerous local officials to address the misunderstanding of Islam, condemn the incidents and remain aware.

CAIR-NJ is exploring legal options as a result of this egregious behavior.

CAIR-NJ seriously entertained a defamation suit against the online organization StopAntisemitism

Of course, anyone paying attention to CAIR’s almost weekly attacks on people and things will recall CAIR’s meddling in last year’s India Independence Day Parade.

On 14 August 2022, a bulldozer clad with images of Hindutva (Hindu Supremacy) leaders which read “Baba ka bulldozar”, or Daddy Bulldozer, was used at the front of the India Independence Day parade starting in Edison and ending in Woodbridge. Baba ka Bulldozar is the nickname of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who is a prime promoter of hate against Muslims and other minorities in India. He personally ordered the bulldozing of Muslim, Christian, and Dalit Hindu homes and businesses.

CAIR provides no evidence that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is using the bulldozer against innocent people. In fact, wherever one looks online, one finds that “bulldozer justice” is meted out to wealthy “land mafia” members, heads of organized crime rings, and those trying to start riots.

It is worth noting that the other group, along with CAIR, that is warning us about Hindus in America is the Indian American Muslim Council (IAMC). The current executive director of IAMC is Rasheed Ahmed. Ahmed also started the Islamic Medical Association of North America (IMANA). IMANA is part of the Muslim Brotherhood Sunni Muslim mafia in this country.

The bulldozer is the symbol of a very popular political party in India. CAIR has no business telling anyone, including Indian Americans, how to run their parade.

On page 28 of CAIR’s report, it says:

As millions of Muslims in India face the threat of genocide under Modi’s government…

There is no evidence that India’s 200 million Muslim are threatened with genocide. This report, as is the case in so many of CAIR’s publications, is hate speech.

There were 19 TV broadcasts last year about a mobile billboard truck displaying images of the 2008 Mumbai attack. Here is how it all wound up, according to CAIR’s report.

Billboard Truck Targets 4 Mosques

A member of the Muslim Center of Middlesex County community spotted a digital billboard truck that explicitly blamed all Muslims for the 2008 Mumbai, India attack. The truck circled the mosque twice and he followed it out, taking photos of the license plate and other images mocking Muslims by saying “your religion does not teach to kill innocents.”

It was determined after an investigation that the incident did not meet the level of an indictable crime, such as bias intimidation. No threats were made and it was protected free speech.

This was another non-event. Its only significance, besides CAIR’s stigmatization of Hindutva, is that it is another example of how CAIR can lead politicians and TV stations around by the nose.

CAIR seems to be intent on bringing all the mistakes and feuds from the old world to America..

Under the heading “Communications Department Philosophy,” CAIR tells us:

Though often portrayed as 20th Century immigrants, Muslims have long been part of the American fabric. Of the 12.5 million Africans forcibly removed from the continent by European colonizers and taken to the Americas, at least 900,000 were Muslim. In the U.S. specifically, up to 40 percent of African slaves came from predominantly Muslim parts of West Africa.

CAIR sources Sylvia Diouf to support their claims. But Diouf never supports her assertions that “40 percent” of African slaves in America were Muslim. The fact that 40 percent of slaves in America came from a Muslim-controlled area would suggest that a very low percentage of U.S. slaves were Muslim, as Muslims tended to enslave non-Muslims.

CAIR’s report is full of self-aggrandizement, gobbledegook about “Islamophobia,” misinformation, and hysteria about “genocide.”

Nevertheless, TV stations report CAIR’s findings as news.
