Welsh Labourites Want To Provide ‘Asylum Seekers’ with $24,000 A Year and Legal Aid

One way for an advanced country in Western Europe to degrade the quality of life for its own citizens, to use up government funds that should be used to support its own poor, and to create an atmosphere of great physical insecurity, is to allow an unlimited number of Muslim migrants to settle in that country, deep behind borders which those migrants regard as enemy lines. It is hard for more than a handful of Muslim migrants to integrate harmoniously with the indigenous Infidels, whom those migrants have been taught to regard as “the most vile of created beings.”

These Muslims claim to be “asylum seekers” and further claim that they should have a “right to remain,” a claim that is treated with the utmost seriousness, though in truth almost all of the Muslims now flooding into Europe are not “asylum seekers” – fleeing persecution and death — at all. They are, instead, economic migrants, seeking to obtain every benefit that the generous welfare states of Western Europe have on offer, including, but not limited to, free or highly subsidized housing, free medical care, free education, unemployment benefits (even without having any previous work history), family allowances, and more.

Now the Labour Party in Wales wants to provide even more to these soi-disant “asylum seekers.” It wants to provide every “asylum seeker” over the age of 18 with a guaranteed monthly income of 1,600 pounds (about $2,000 USD). It also wants to provide each “asylum speaker” with cash payment so that he or she can pay for a lawyer to help make the case that the migrant should be allowed to remain permanently in the country. Young asylum seekers in Wales could soon receive a monthly payment of £1,600 and taxpayer cash to fight deportation under plans proposed by the country’s devolved Labour government.

The move would see asylum seekers who arrive unaccompanied in Britain as children effectively handed a monthly living wage from the age of 18, in addition to extra cash for legal fees to fight deportation orders.

A letter outlining the intention, which has been signed by three Welsh Labour ministers — Jane Hutt, Julie Morgan, and Mick Antoniw — has been sent to the U.K. Justice Ministry for sign off. The plans are still in the development stage and would need the green light from the U.K. government in Westminster.

The letter asked the British government to ensure asylum seekers receiving the payment would still be eligible for legal aid, which is means-tested across Britain.

“We believe that care leavers have a right to be properly supported as they develop into independent young adults,” a Welsh government spokesperson said in a statement.

“Too many young people leaving care continue to face significant barriers to achieving a successful transition into adulthood than many of their peers.

This makes no sense. Why should an “asylum seeker” in Wales have a guaranteed annual income of $24,000, when a native Welsh man or woman has to earn that money through work? Why should the indigenous Welsh be treated worse than the Muslim economic migrants? Instead of guaranteeing that those migrants will receive, without lifting a finger, such an income, why not instead assign public works jobs to them, everything from building infrastructure to maintaining public parks, to caretaking for the elderly demented, in order to earn the money that right now they are to be given without any need to work?

If such a requirement is not imposed, one can well imagine the result of this guaranteed annual income of $24,000 (on top of free housing and free medical care from the NHS). Every would-be “asylum-seeker” – Muslim economic migrant — in Europe will head straight to Wales, to benefit from this ill-considered bonanza. The $24,000 is in addition to free housing that will be supplied by the state. The recipients will be far better off than the average wage-earner in Wales. What did these Muslim economic migrants do to merit this kind of support?

“In line with our Nation of Sanctuary approach, we want to ensure that unaccompanied asylum-seeking children are supported to rebuild their lives and are not prevented from accessing appropriate Welsh government schemes and benefits to support their integration,” they [the three Welsh Labourites] added.

Instead of tiny Wales becoming this big-hearted “Nation of Sanctuary,” why not do something else? As these unaccompanied minors reach their majority, instead of lavishing such incredible largesse on them “to support their integration,” why don’t those Welsh Labourites first ask themselves where, in all of Europe, the Muslim population has “integrated’ into the circumambient society. It hasn’t happened anywhere, and it won’t, because Muslims who have been taught that they are “the best of peoples” will not want to integrate with Infidels, who are the “most vile of created beings.” They will take the benefits offered by those Infidels, but that is not integration. Instead they are simply helping themselves to a proleptic jizyah, paid for by the Infidel taxpayers. It is right and proper, they believe, that they should receive this jizyah in the form of welfare benefits.

Campaigners against big state intervention opposed the move. “Legal aid is rightly means tested,” said James Roberts of the conservative TaxPayers’ Alliance. “Illegal immigrants should not be allowed to claim this cash.”

Why should illegal immigrants – those who as their very first act in landing in the U.K. was to break that country’s laws – have any right to legal aid paid for by the government? They are not citizens. They are not legal immigrants. If they need a lawyer to defend them from the consequences of their law-breaking, let them pay for it themselves. They don’t have the money? Too bad.

Still worse, these Welsh Labourites want to jettison any means test for asylum seekers. Some of them may have money with which to pay partly, or in full, for their own lawyers. Nonetheless, the proposal would allow all asylum seekers to receive legal aid paid entirely by the government. Ordinary citizens do not receive such a benefit; only those whose incomes fall below a certain level will receive legal aid paid by the government. What kind of topsy-turvy world is it when illegal immigrants who are now in Wales and intent on taking advantage of as as many benefits as they can get, are treated better than are the citizens of the country?

Last year we spent around £30million on legal aid for asylum seekers and we will respond to the letter in due course,” a Ministry of Justice spokesman said in response.

Andrew Davies, leader of the Welsh Conservative parliamentary group, said: “At a time when our asylum system is being abused, we have to be tough to be kind. That’s exactly what the Conservative government is doing. I fear this move from Labour ministers in the Senedd will undermine that and I suspect the Welsh public will agree.”

“That’ll teach ’em,” tweeted Conservative MP Lee Anderson. “After a year of fighting our Rwanda Plan [a plan to send asylum seekers to Rwanda, where their claims would be examined] before letting them into the United Kingdom] it looks like Labour finally have their own plan to tackle the migrant crisis.”

Former Brexit Party MEP Martin Daubney added: “That’s right: they will get a guaranteed income PLUS housing, meaning they’re better off than average taxpayers!”

Conservative commentator, Darren Grimes, said: “This is a pretty clear indication of what Labour would be like in power. Why wouldn’t you come here if our taxpayer is paying this?”

No comment has yet been made by Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer as to whether a future British Labour government would adopt a similar policy nationally.

Will Sir Keir Starmer, who was so effective and clear-headed in pushing the antisemitic Jeremy Corbyn and his acolytes out of the national Labour Party, really be so foolish as to endorse this plan of three Welsh Labourites, providing a not-inconsiderable guaranteed annual income for those claiming to be “asylum seekers,” and try to impose it elsewhere in the U.K.?
