In the Qur’an, a mysterious figure, known as Khidr in Islamic tradition, kills a boy in an apparently random and gratuitous attack. He then explains: “And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief. So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy.” (18:80-81)
And according to Islamic law, “retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right.” However, “not subject to retaliation” is “a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring’s offspring.” (Reliance of the Traveller o1.1-2).
Muslims commit 91 percent of honor killings worldwide. The Palestinian Authority gives pardons or suspended sentences for honor murders. Iraqi women have asked for tougher sentences for Islamic honor murderers, who get off lightly now. Syria in 2009 scrapped a law limiting the length of sentences for honor killings, but “the new law says a man can still benefit from extenuating circumstances in crimes of passion or honour ‘provided he serves a prison term of no less than two years in the case of killing.’” And in 2003 the Jordanian Parliament voted down on Islamic grounds a provision designed to stiffen penalties for honor killings. Al-Jazeera reported that “Islamists and conservatives said the laws violated religious traditions and would destroy families and values.”
“Honour killing: Man burns wife alive in Pakistan’s Punjab province,” PTI, April 26, 2023 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
A husband allegedly burnt his estranged wife alive in a case of so-called ”honour killing” while another woman came under acid attack after being raped in Punjab province of Pakistan, police said on Wednesday.
In the first incident, suspect Tariq allegedly burnt his 40-year-old wife Shazia for what he called ”disgracing the family’s honour” in Cheechawatni district, some 209 kms from Lahore, on Tuesday, police said.
Police official Ejaz Aslam said that Shazia had left Tariq a year ago after developing differences over domestic issues and started living with her parents’ house. Aslam said Tariq suspected that Shazia had relations with a man of his locality and on Tuesday he visited his in-laws and doused Shazia with petrol and set her ablaze and fled.
She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. She has left behind two daughters and four sons.
Police registered a case against Tariq and arrested him.
In a separate incident, two men threw acid on a married woman after raping her in Okara district, some 130kms from Lahore, on Tuesday.
Police officer Jahanzeb Wattoo said that main suspect Rizwan wanted to develop relations with Shahida Bibi, 30, but she refused.
On Tuesday, Rizwan along with his accomplice abducted her at gun point on her way to home and raped her at a deserted place. The suspects later threw acid on her face….

All of these are demonic. These snakes know what they are doing is wrong, and that is why they flee and try to escape punishment. Their burned consciences are not affected, they don’t care about the pain and suffering and death they have caused, but they don’t wish to be locked up.
There will be Justice, however.
James Lincoln says
All true, somehistory.
somehistory says
Thank you very much, James
John Smith says
Yes Somehistory they are demonic, but maybe these snakes don’t know what they are doing is wrong. They believe that murder hate and being evil is the way to God, and it is the way to their god who is satan.
The more pious the muslim, the more evil muslim, and the closer he is to satan. As you well know everything in islam is in reverse, it’s so twisted so perverse, that hate becomes their love. Some muslims are so blinded by the darkness that they will never be able to see the light that the true God has to offer them.
PRCS says
And the true God to a Hindu, a Sikh, a Buddhist, a Jain, and others not of your ‘faith’ would be?
You do realize that a great many of the world’s people do NOT agree with you, right?
John Smith says
PRCS
Sorry you are wrong, most religions do agree with me. Most religions are good will religions that advocate love for one another.
They may well go about it in different ways as they all derive from different cultures, but the basic message is the same.
I don’t know what your problem is with me being a Christian, as I never try to impose my views on you or anyone else..
Infact I hardly ever mention the fact that I’m a Christian. I’m here for one reason only, and that is to oppose evil, and that evil is islam.
PRCS says
“most religions do agree with me”
Not with the notion that yours is the “true God”.
My issue is not with Christianity but with the “true God” declaration by Christians at a site not meant for proselytizing and which is visited by followers of other faiths.
Keith O says
Spot on PRCS, My missus is a Buddhist, I’m a Pagan. Neither of us believe in a god as per Christianity, Judaism etc and neither of us are evil or violent.
For us, true evil only exists in the hearts and minds of humans.
If we follow the thoughts of John Smith would dictate that a new born baby, born into an Islamic family is pure evil. Hmmm, what’s wrong with this concept?
PRCS says
I agree, Keith.
True evil exists in the hearts and minds of individuals.
As an atheist, I’m not an evil person either.
John Smith says
To Keith O
I’ve no idea why you should make such a cruel, and completely untrue accusation about me. To say that I am deeply offended would be an an understatement.
I find it difficult to believe that you could makeup such a malicious lie and I really do hope that you have just misinterpreted me.
Not for a moment would I ever think, or dictate, “that a new born baby, born into an Islamic family is pure evil.”
What a truly awful thing to say about me.
somehistory says
John Smith,
I see it as they have no conscience to tell them it’s wrong to burn people alive, or rape them and murder them; but that they know it’s against the Laws of man where they live, so they run and hide and then try to wiggle free when caught.
The Bible says that satan “blinds the minds of unbelieves (in Christ) so the good news can’t shine through” to them.
they are taught to view the lives of those with whom they disagree as worthless and expendable, but they also know that others will try to hold them accountable for breaking the state’s laws.
somehistory says
Keith O,
There is nothing in John Smith’s comment to suggest that a newborn baby is “pure evil.” even one born to a mozlum couple. Every newborn is a “clean slate”…they will make choices, they will live according to things they are taught and come to believe… and every newborn is imperfect….they will make mistakes, they will get sick, and they will eventually die.
And since he was specifically speaking about the way mozlums believe and the way they act on their beliefs, there is nothing to suggest that he was saying any other group or any individual, is evil.
Each person who chooses what he believes, must have some idea that his choice is the correct one, that what he believes is true….which obviously makes what everyone else believes not true in his mind, even if he never verbalizes it.
You have said many times that you are pagan. That’s your choice and if the concept/ or idea…etc….of a True God is not part of your belief, then no Christian is going to force you to accept their belief in One.
However, Freedom of Speech means one can say what one wants to say, when one wants to say it…unless the householder/host decides differently.
You have the Freedom to say you are pagan and that there is no True God, but Christians have the same right to say there is a True God. You don’t have to accept that any more than Christians have to accept your way.
Freedom to speak means an interchange of ideas.
John Smith says
Thank you very much Somehistory, because being accused of something that is completely untrue, is just horrible.
somehistory says
You are more than welcome, John.
And I agree; no one wants a lie, especially this kind of lie, written about them. Neither you nor any Christian would ever think or say such a thing.
Chris says
Amen!

Sharia law allows and even encourages the brutal, cruel malicious action of cold blooded murder so very inappropriately called “honor killing.”
There is nothing in actual honor about such a malice- filled in such a despicable horrendous vicious murderous action of evil.
This is one of the many horrendously wicked fruits of Islam.
Jesus taught, “By their fruits you will know them.” Matthew 7:20. [N.K.J.V.]
Walter Sieruk says
Regarding the horrific Islamic practice that is very inappropriately called” “honor killing. There is actual no honor, at all, in that callous, cold-blooded, vicious, malicious murderous action.
In addition, the scholar of Islam, Brigitte Gabriel in her book entitled THEY MUST BE STOPPED on pages 171,172 she reveals that “Control of behavior and disregard for human life are key elements in in Islamic ideology.”
She further exposes that “The shocking reality is that most Muslim men, including those educated in the West, have no objection to honor killings and the degradation of women in their countries. Across the Muslim world, even in moderate Islamic countries, women’s rights are almost nonexistent … Women in Islam are considered unclean, deemed inferior even to dirt.”
Indeed, they must be stopped !
PRCS says
Well, sure, Tariq’s family name is known far and wide–in the Punjab. Or in a village there, at least.
Can’t have his wife ‘dishonoring’ it, of course.
What will the neighbors think?
What to do, what to do?

It appears as if the moslems have many commentors here right where they want them, obfuscating, conflating, fearful, confused, etc. If you’re not focusing on islam, you’re just spitting into the wind and the moslems appreciate it.
I’ve watched this phenom for about fifteen years. I’ve seen it on all of the atheist websites, all of the anti islam websites and, in fact, on any website that discusses islam. The moment islam is brought up, people revert to making comments about Christianity, typically, or skew off into some other irrelevant direction. I was raised a Southern Baptist, but such has utterly nothing to do with islam. When you can make comments about islam without including comments about other religions, you’ll be a good beginner.
OLD GUY says
Proof again as too the evils of ISLAM. Any religion that allows and encourages violence and murder against others is EVIL.
