Kate Middleton, the wife of the future king, donned a hijab when she visited a Muslim Center in Britain. It is tone-deaf that the Express would present the occasion as a fashion event, touting the “floral headscarf designed by the Pakistani brand Élan” and “a bespoke woolen grey coat from Alexander McQueen.” In reality, it was a jarring gesture on Middleton’s part, given the protests in the Islamic Republic of Iran that have gone on for months after the morality police murdered 22-year-old Mahsa Amini for not wearing her hijab properly. Women in Iran have been and continue to be jailed, beaten and murdered over the female covering, which is worn not simply for modesty, but as a requirement by the Islamic regime to keep women in their inferior place.
And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only what is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment except to their own husbands or fathers or husbands’ fathers, or their sons or their husbands’ sons, or their brothers or their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack desire, or children who know nothing of women’s nakedness. And do not let them stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn to Allah together, O believers, so that you may succeed. (Quran 24:31)
O prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their veils close around them. That will be better, so that they may be recognized and not molested. Allah is always forgiving, merciful. (Quran 33:59)
Middleton undoubtedly wore the hijab as a gesture of cultural sensitivity, but as a role model, her sensitivity would have been better directed toward the defense of human rights, and toward remembering the suffering of those women who refuse to wear the hijab. The New York Post ran a headline in 2016 about wearing the hijab, even in a Sharia-adherent country, entitled Westerners who don hijabs in Iran are a disgrace. That the future wife of the king of England would wear the hijab in her native land is a serious flaw in judgement.
Men are in charge of women, because Allah has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend of their property. So good women are obedient, guarding in secret what Allah has guarded. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, give them a warning and banish them to separate beds, and beat them. (Qur’an 4:34)
To make matters worse, Middleton was further degraded in as she was rejected when she reached out to shake hands with Muslim community leader Iman Sufyan. In an awkward moment for her, Sufyan refused to touch her….
O you who believe, when you rise up for prayer, wash your faces, and your hands up to the elbows, and lightly rub your heads and your feet up to the ankles. And if you are unclean, purify yourselves. And if you are sick or on a journey, or one of you has just relieved himself, or you have had contact with women, and you find not water, then go to clean high ground and rub your faces and your hands with some of it. Allah would not place a burden on you, but he would purify you and would perfect his favor upon you, so that you may give thanks. (Qur’an 5:6)
Britain’s official religion is still Christianity. The Church of England is still the state Church; in it, women are deemed equals. The future king of England’s wife appears to have forgotten this.

This scarf is part of a set worn by Kate when she visited Pakistan on a royal tour back in 2019. The Princess’s outfit choice was very modest today as she was visiting the Muslim Centre for a very poignant reason.
She decided to wear a bespoke woolen grey coat from Alexander McQueen with matching grey tights.
Kate also wore her Alexander McQueen ribbed bodice sleeveless dress, which she last wore during the mourning period for Queen Elizabeth II….

Sufyan appears to have ‘overlooked’ that fact, as well!
Perhaps he should be ‘invited’ to find a land, where Islam is the predominant religion!

Unfortunately our present king Charles also seems to have forgotten this.
When Charles became king he also inherited the title “Defender of Faith”. This title wasn’t good enough for the islamic loving king, so he had to change it to ” Defender of FAITHS,” so it would include islam.
You may well of been aware of this, but I thought I’d mention it anyway.
