The far-Left Guardian will likely ascribe this to “racism” and “Islamophobia.” It may have a different cause. Non-Muslims paying for the upkeep of Muslims is a Qur’anic dictate:
“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued” (Qur’an 9:29).
The caliph Umar said the jizya payments from the dhimmis were the source of the Muslims’ livelihood:
“Narrated Juwairiya bin Qudama at-Tamimi: We said to `Umar bin Al-Khattab, ‘O Chief of the believers! Advise us.’ He said, ‘I advise you to fulfill Allah’s Convention (made with the Dhimmis) as it is the convention of your Prophet and the source of the livelihood of your dependents (i.e. the taxes from the Dhimmis.)’” (Bukhari 4.53.388)
UK jihad preacher Anjem Choudary said in February 2013:
“We are on Jihad Seekers Allowance, We take the Jizya (protection money paid to Muslims by non-Muslims) which is ours anyway. The normal situation is to take money from the Kafir (non-Muslim), isn’t it? So this is normal situation. They give us the money. You work, give us the money. Allah Akbar, we take the money. Hopefully there is no one from the DSS (Department of Social Security) listening. Ah, but you see people will say you are not working. But the normal situation is for you to take money from the Kuffar (non-Muslim) So we take Jihad Seeker’s Allowance.”

More than two-thirds of the Muslim community in England and Wales reside in areas with the highest rates of unemployment, analysis shows.
About 2.6 million Muslims live in local authorities where more than one in 20 of the population aged 16 to 64 is unemployed, according to analysis of census data, prompting fresh calls from campaigners for the levelling up agenda to also focus on young British Muslims.
The Guardian analysis comes as new figures from ONS show people who identified as Muslim in England and Wales had the highest rate of unemployment among religious groups in 2021, which stood at 6.7%.
About 68% of the total Muslim population in England and Wales live in areas with the highest unemployment, compared with 26% of Christians and 25% of respondents who said they did not follow a religion.
The analysis showed that a third of the population in Birmingham and Newham, east London, identified as Muslim, and these are – together with Wolverhampton – the local authorities with the highest unemployment rate, with 7% of their working-age population looking for a job.
The Muslim community’s rate of unemployment is about twice that of the Jewish and Christian community, which stood at 3.1% and 3.8% in 2021.
This difference was more marked in younger age groups, with the unemployment rate for Muslims aged 20 to 24 years old at 13% in 2021, compared with 9% of the overall population….

Didn’t I rad a few years ago about the shed loads of money that the Qataris were paying the Royal family to repair and tart up their palatialnmansions? If that’s true, perhaps our fiends from Doha (oh, sorry about the typo – that should have been ‘friends’) just want to help us keep our historic buildings intact – for when they move in? It so much nicer than all the pretentious ‘Disneyland’ stuff they’ve thrown up in their own excuse for a ‘Capital’.

Fiends it is, and I’m certain you’re right about the real estate. Just looked because I was astounded at how much UK land is in so few hands: “Dubai’s Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum owns more than 63,000 acres of Scotland’s countryside.” The Chinese US land purchases are alarming. And funny how it’s never these lands that must be forfeited for climate goals, unlike those of Dutch farmers.

There are gangs…such as the cosa nostra and mafia…which make a large part of their money by smuggling weapons, drugs and people. They engage in prostitution, gambling and other vices. These gangs also threaten business owners with arson, broken bodies, kidnapping, rape, and death in order to get the business owner…a hard-working individual…to pay ***extortion.***
These gangs…whether they are young hoods who prowl, threaten, and injure, or the older and more notorious mafia and cosa nostra…don’t bother with having regular jobs and being employed.
And mozlums are the same kind of creature….don’t work if you can threaten and extort a living from others.
One other point about the refusal to work. Psychopaths use conning, cunning and manipulation to weasel money from their family, friends, neighbors, etc. as well as thievery and selling the items stolen. With those actions, they don’t need to work.
And…. mozlums are psychopaths.

It’s certainly not the same as the figures of around 50%+ for muslim males and 75%+ for muslim females that I read a few years ago. My guess is that these figures might have been ‘doctored’, but things might have improved for the men at least with the arrival of so many ‘Turkish Barbers’ is UK High Streets (where you get a third-rate hair cut and the chairs seem to be vacant most of the time) and muslim-run convenience stores (which are often disorganised and filthy and where there’s more action watching paint dry than customers going in). Rumour has it the the tills of these establishments have more drug money than receipts for in-house services. The women are usually at home minding their herds, financed as ‘single mothers’ by the British taxpayer since the authorities don’t seem to want to notice all the illegal polygamy that’s been going on for decades.

No! those areas have those social problems BECAUSE they are largely populated by Musloms.
