Apparently the British authorities really, really want this guy in the country. But why?

Watch the moment a 28-year-old Iraqi immigrant stabbed a teenage boy in broad daylight because he wanted to be deported from Britain.
Rebaz Mohammed attacked Ellis Wheeler, 18, in December 2022 as he was walking through a park on his way home from the gym.
Wheeler was left fighting for his life after the kitchen knife punctured his lung.
CCTV footage shows the attack happening for all to see as Mohammed approaches the student, before savagely stabbing him….
Mohammed was arrested at the scene and told police he attacked Wheeler so he could be deported to his home in Iraq.
The Iraqi had originally entered the country illegally and had served a prison term previously.
He pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing a knife blade in Southampton Crown Court.
Mohammed has been sentenced to six years in prison, with a four year extended licence….
Prosecutor Andrew Houston stated that Mohammed knew he needed to do something to be deported and had spoken with people who were familiar with the immigration system.
He had previously been cautioned for criminal damage and battery and was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison for racially-aggravated harassment and stalking in May 2022.
Richard Tutt, defending Mohammed, said the 28-year-old had been “making what efforts he could to be deported” but could not afford to leave.
Tutt said: “He believed, from what he had been told, that he needed to commit an offence that was serious enough.
“He presents as a very naive person. He has experienced remorse, or at least sorrow.”…

This is, although the UK got Brexit, it is not complete, we are still in the clutches of the European Court of Human Rights ECHR.
These are the people who stopped the flight deporting migrants. However, the UK has now passed a law stopping this. Doesn’t matter because what ever happens the greedy lawyers get involved.

I imagine that the UK authorities will grant this scumbag’s wishes and throw him out of the country as soon as his jail sentence for this stabbing is over. i realise that defence lawyers have an important job to do, but how about the bullshit they come out with. Here the defence lawyer says, this scumbag is a “naive” person, etc. How about calling the creep an evil piece of crap, a complete barbarian. That would be closer to the truth. Simple question. If this noxious specimen wanted to be deported, why didn’t he just deport himself? If he can’t afford the Eurostar, plane or ferry fare, he could just get hold of a rubber boat and launch himself from a beach somewhere near Dover – or he could just wait until some of the demographic contamination like himself came the other way from France, take the boat over and do a quick turn-round. If the outboard motor ran out of gas half way across, I’m sure the nice French coastguards would give him a lift back to Calais.

He went about it the wrong way. He should have made a speech condemning LGBTQIA+ and threatened to toss a few of them off the Tower of London. Had that not worked, he should have made a speech denouncing an islamic sect that he’s not a part of (if he was shi’a, denounce sunnis, if sunni, denounce the Rafidite dogs), and burnt a few of their qurans. Hopefully, that would have done the trick
Once back in Iraq, if he went for option 2, he could then have claimed either taquiyya, or that the quran that he burnt wasn’t in Arabic, blah blah blah ?
