In many ways Carter is still the worst president in in US History. Gas prices doubled, home mortgages interest rates were about 19.9%, Credit Card interest was about 30%, massive unemployment. He was instrumental in destroying the military and directly helped Khomeini take over Iran setting up todays. problems. He deserves no special accolades and to be remembered only as someone not to admire.
