Kudos to “devout Christian” Izzy Montague for suing Heavers Farm Primary School in South Norwood, southeast London, her four-year-old son’s school, for “making him take part in an LGBT Pride parade.” Her precedent-setting case, which the Christian Legal Centre is handling, is in essence about her her religious right to practice her beliefs. This right should extend to everyone in the UK.
Montague’s case highlights religious rights which are now being trampled routinely. Montague doesn’t believe in “any form of celebration of any sexual lifestyles.” A key tactic of the woke movement is that its activists and overlords accuse those who oppose actively partaking in the LGBTQ+ and trans movements as “discriminatory,” “intolerant” and opposed to “diversity,” when those terms actually more accurately describe them.
Would they appreciate having their children forced to attend evangelical Christian pride parades? Imagine organizing an evangelical parade at Heavers Farm Primary School and forcing all children to participate. Such a parade would be met with shock, horror and outrage.
It is high time more countries challenge the woke encroachment on citizen’s rights on the grounds of religious freedom and individual rights and freedoms.

A devout Christian who claims her four-year-old son was compelled to take part in an LGBT pride parade is suing the school – in the first case of its kind in the UK.
Izzy Montague, 38, said she was told by the headteacher of Heavers Farm Primary School in South Norwood, southeast London, that her son could not opt out of the event in June 2018.
The school sent a letter to parents on June 19 inviting them to partake in a Pride march and ‘celebrate the differences that make them and their family special’.
A week later Mrs Montague contacted the school and asked for her son to be excused attendance on June 29 as she was concerned about him ‘being involved of a public display of adherence to views which she did not accept.’
Mrs Montague’s request was refused by headteacher Susan Papas, so the parent replied with a lengthy email on July 13, Central London County Court heard.
At the start of the eight-day case Judge Christopher Lethem described Mrs Montague and her husband as ‘devout born-again Christians’, adding: ‘They bear a belief that sexual relations should be abstained from or take place within a life-long marriage between a man and a woman and any activity outside those confines is sinful.
‘They also say pride is considered to be the most serious of the deadly sins.’
The court heard that Mrs Montague attended a meeting with Ms Papas on September 19 in which the headteacher’s daughter wore a T-shirt with the slogan: ‘Why be racist, sexist, homophobic, or transphobic when you could just be quiet?’
Giving evidence, Mrs Montague told the court that prior to the incident she had expressed concerns to her son’s teacher about the type of books they were reading in class, including ‘a same-sex-family book’.
Ian Clarke, representing the school, said: ‘So you get this letter on June 19 and you see that it is about celebrating “the things that make our family special”.’
Mrs Montague replied: ‘It felt like it was lecturing me about something to do with British values and somehow we weren’t adhering to British values.’….

Like, who the hell was it that authorised this sort of perversion in the school? and for 4year olds????
Also, I can only imagine the backlash, no pun intended, if this perversion was tried in a school with mudslime children.
The press and the left would be totally confused, who do they support and who’s blood do they scream for? The schools’ headmaster? The Mudslime parents for being intolerant? Or the queer zoo for,,,, well being a queer zoo?

Good. These schools should be flooded w/ lawsuits, and that too not class action ones, that their lawyers are deluged w/ them. It’ll be funny to see the school begging for donations from students, which would include those suing it

Our city produced and videoed a Pride film- 4 minutes- with city employees and leadership saying they were Allies or LGBQT persons and celebrating this fact. A number of us emailed the city leaders. Can you imagine if you worked under one of these leaders and your deeply held religious beliefs were that sex was only between a man and a woman and within a life long, faithful marriage. Citizens spoke out. Many citizens asked for other celebrations. The city manager says that now he will stay out of the sexual ideology stuff.
