Oslo police banned a demonstration that included a Qur’an burning “due to security concerns.” Although one can see their reasoning, there are wider implications. The cancellation is a surrender to the tenets of violent foreign entities. The Islamic world has already been in upheaval over a Qur’an burning in Sweden. Offending someone else’s feelings is fully permitted in free societies such as Norway. The reaction of Muslims, however, reveals much about “the religion of peace.” Sharia blasphemy tenets must not be accepted in Western countries.
Acting barbarously as mobs do in Pakistan and other Sharia-adherent countries is acceptable under the Sharia. It is not acceptable in free societies; nor should it ever be tolerated or encouraged.
The ban was implemented “hours after the Turkish foreign ministry summoned the Norwegian ambassador to complain.” Since when does Turkey dictate to Norway? The Sharia is prevailing as police refuse to do their job of upholding the rights of citizens and the rule of law. How about throwing those who commit acts of violence in prison for breaking Western laws? The cancellation sends a global message that fear, violence and intimidation work against weak Western leaders. The West in slowly being subjugated.

“The police emphasise that burning the Quran is a legal political statement in Norway, but this event can’t go ahead due to security concerns,” Oslo police Inspector Martin Strand said in a statement on Thursday.
The move came after Turkey’s foreign ministry summoned Norway’s Ambassador Erling Skjonsberg over the planned protest.
“Upon learning that there will be an attack against our holy book, the Quran, in Norway tomorrow, the Norwegian ambassador to Turkiye [Turkey] has just been summoned to our ministry,” a Turkish diplomatic source told Anadolu Agency earlier on Thursday.
“[Norway’s] approach not to prevent the planned provocative act, which is clearly a hate crime … is unacceptable and we expect this act not to be allowed,” the source added….

That is understandable .What else is also understandable, or should be, is to burn the Qu ‘ran in an action of objection to Islamic terrorism isn’t the best of the most intelligent way to handle the subject of Muslim terrorism which the Qu ‘ran inspires.as in 2;191. 95,123. 47:4 ,
A better and much more intelligent thing to do is to examine the flaws used in the “logic” to uphold the Qu ‘ran by the apologist for Islam.
For example, there’s an old challenge given by many the apologists for Islam to support of their firm belief that the Qu ‘ran is ,truly, Divine.
The challenge they declare is “Try to write a book as beautifully written as the Qu’ ran . you cannot.”
The answer to that claim this that just because a written work of religious literature has beauty in it does not necessary mean that it’s the infallible Word of God.
For there are many highly religious books that are very beautifully written that have been around for centuries but not literally God’s Word.
For example, many of the books that make up the Apocrypha are very well written but they didn’t make into the Bible as God’s word. For instance, the specific apocrypha book of The Song of Three Young Men is a very pious beautifully written religious work of literature but it’s still not the Divine Word of God.
In addition, there have been and are many very intelligent men who read the Qu ‘ran and found it to be overly repetitious, dull inconsistent and even in some places contradictory.
This naturally is in contrast to how all Muslims hear the Qu ‘ran when it is recited. So those two contrasting views of the Qu ‘ran just prove valid the old saying that “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”
In conclusion, it should be obvious that just because a person finds something in a book that is religious to be also b that he finds to be written doesn’t actually mean it’s Divine.

Further, Morey wrote about “The fact that Judaism and Christianity broke up into different sects was used in the Qu ‘ran to prove that they are not of God [Suras 30:20-32. 42:13, 14]. Yet Islam has broken up into many warring sects and therefore cannot be true if the Quran is right.”
Moreover, Morey in his book shows many more contradictions and absurdities in the Quran, there are and how Muhammad incorporated extra Biblical and Jewish folklore along with pre-Islamic Arabian myth and parts of Zoroastrian and Hindu stories into the Quran.
Furthermore, the Muslims claim that “the Quran is the direct, literal word of God unmodified in any way by the Prophet who uttered them at the bidding of God.” In addition , in the book UNVEILING ISLAM by Ergun Mehmet Caner and Eethi Caner has shown that the Quran was modified in the following account on pages 45. “Muhammad felt the need to improve on the words of Allah, since he changed Allah’s wisdom for his own on several occasions. A hadith tells of the nonchalant emendations of Muhammad:’ On a number of occasions he [a scribe] had, with the Prophet’s consent changed the closing words of verses. For example, when the prophet had said ‘God is mighty and wise ‘ Adbollah b. Abi Sarh suggested writing down ‘Knowing and wise’ and the Prophet answered that there was no objection. Having observed a succession of changes of this type, Adbollah renounced Islam on the grounds that revelations, if from God could not be changed at the prompting of a scribe such as himself. After his apostasy he went to Mecca and joined the Qorayshites.’ Other writers reveal that later Muhammad and his people did go war with the Qorayshites and he personally killed Abdollah. Obviously Abdollah knew too much and Muhammad wanted Abdollah’s knowledge to die with him.”
In conclusion, the Qu ‘ran is not only a fiction, it’s also a hoax.

What is the point of burning Korans publicly? It just gives an excuse for easily triggered Muslims to go nuts and do what they do best, which is to threaten and attack others over imagined insults. Maybe there is another solution: why don’t people in the western world who have had it with the Muslim invasion and are frustrated by the cowardice of their authorities to clamp down do it themselves by acquiring as many Korans as they can and then … do what they want with them, quietly storing them away or dispose of them in any way they see fit? Nobody will know and that would be a helpful cleanup exercice since the “holy book” has been documented many times as being the source of sudden murderous attacks by Muslims and even non-Muslims lured into converting. The clinical link is clear, and therefore getting as many copies as possible of the source of this madness out of circulation would be a welcome sanitaton process, all performed in the privacy of one’s home.

And the idea that if non-Muslims buy up large numbers of Qur’ans that Muslims will be unable to read them I’m afraid shows a lack of understanding of how publishing works. There is not a static number of Qur’ans in existence–if more people buy them more are published. This is simple supply and demand.

Burning items like flags or books a long standing form of protest, and it is *not* violence, nor is anyone who engages in such protest a “fighting mad pitbull”.
Then, *of course* western nations should be more careful about not importing ravening Muslims, but this *in no way* means that Jews and Christians and other Westerners should have to kowtow to Shari’ah demands that their appalling “holy book” be shown ‘respect’, and threats of violence if it is not.

Muslims continually carry on like lunatics over burning the Koran, or caricatures of Muhammad, and I can understand why the government might want to avoid all the trouble, but Muslims do need to be told, hey, if you childish clowns are going to live in western societies then you need to grow up and control yourselves like civilised adult human beings, so learn to let Korans be burnt, etc, without carrying on the way you do. Caving into the Muslim maniacs is a very bad idea.

Thanks for the +1, GreekEmpress. It is true that the Muslims get together and protest, usually in a violent manner, at the drop of a hat. They are barbaric and can’t cope with the freedom of expression that exists in civilised countries. I don’t expect that they will ever change and grow up and behave the way mature people behave.

I suppose for normal, civilised people in western countries, we like to have a peaceful life and that is what leads to our authorities caving in to the lawless and violent Muslims. As you say, it teaches the Muslims that their barbaric approach works quite well.
