What went wrong on November 8?

The establishment media was setting us all up to accept a steal, proclaiming that on Tuesday evening, there might be a “Red Mirage,” that is, the appearance of overwhelming Republican victories that would later be overturned by bogus mail-in ballots, as soon as those who fix elections knew how many they needed. As it turned out, either the shenanigans are now so baked into the system that no prolonged period of fiddling with the totals is needed, or massive numbers of Americans actually like the way things are going under the misrule of Old Joe Biden’s handlers.

To be sure, not all the news was bad for those who don’t want to see the United States become an authoritarian third-world hellhole. The Republicans did win a majority in the House of Representatives, although we will now soon see whether this new Republican House will be a chorus of Mitt Romneys and Liz Cheneys, vying with each other to see who can implement the far-Left’s agenda fastest, or if it will articulate and implement a true America-First agenda, and hold the line against Old Joe’s socialist nostrums.

A couple of big-name Democrat former “rising stars” lost their races, suggesting the wholly welcome prospect that they might now actually fade from the scene. Fake Hispanic Robert “Beto” O’Rourke lost his race for Texas governor, giving this sinister far-Left fanatic the dubious distinction of having lost races for the presidency, the senate, and the governor’s chair. Fake Governor Stacey Abrams, who insisted that she had actually won the 2018 Georgia governor’s race until the Democrats opted to make “Election Denial” a cardinal sin and a dangerous threat to our “democracy,” won a second term as the pretend governor of Georgia. Yet as welcome as the prospect is that we might not hear from these sanctimonious, hectoring authoritarians any longer, O’Rourke and Abrams will probably now get lucrative jobs in academia and the media and continue scolding us for not going full Maoist (yet).

The night was, however, undeniably filled with disappointments. None of the COVID tyrants and Leftist ideologues who are destroying their once-great cities and states lost their elections. California has become a national joke, with astronomical tax rates that appear to pay for nothing at all, amid the daily stories of insane and violent homeless people defecating in the streets and terrorizing passersby, but Governor Gavin Newsom coasted to a second term, as did Michigan despot Gretchen Whitmer, who won fame during the height of the COVID hysteria by sealing off the children’s toys sections at department stores with police tape. Having fun, doncha know, could have gotten you the China bug. New York Kathy Hochul, another COVID tyrant presiding over the crime-ridden, decaying remains of a once-great state, was likewise reelected, which means that New Yorkers, the quintessential frogs in boiling water, will get more of the same, and love every minute of it.

Even worse, the stuttering, sputtering John Fetterman, a stroke victim who only rarely manages to utter a complete sentence, coasted to victory in the Pennsylvania Senate race, thereby proving that the Democrats’ willingness to put up with Old Joe Biden’s obvious incapacity was no anomaly. The Leftist elites are just rubbing it in now, showing that they have now filled a sufficient number of people with their propaganda that they can elect literally anyone to any position they want and perpetuate the governance of a shadowy, behind-the-scenes oligarchy. Fetterman is so clearly unfit for his new job that no one in his right mind could possibly think otherwise; like Biden, he will simply serve as a puppet for the people who are pulling the strings, and that seems to be just fine with Pennsylvanians. Watch for more drooling idiots to be elected to high office in the near future.

Apparently a large number of Americans are just fine with crime-ridden, crumbling cities, open borders, and galloping inflation rates. Emblematic of the results of 50 years and more of hard-Left indoctrination in the public schools was that O’Rourke lost nearly every county in Texas, with the startling exception of the ones that are right on the border with Mexico, the ones that suffer the most immediate effects of the ongoing migrant onslaught. So apparently the people whose lands are overrun and rendered dangerous by the steady migrant arrivals are just fine with it all, and want more. Hit us again, hit us again, harder, harder! Most assuredly, Leftists will be happy to oblige.

  1. Frankly, the results of this election were, in some ways, predictable. For example, I posted this, several times.

    I’m concerned that the American people are going to prove Albert Einstein’s definition of insanity; “Doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.”

  3. I am disappointed by the results, particularly in my area, w/ Hung Cao going down, and in the town I live, the incumbent Dem mayor and town council holding on

    On the bigger result, I think the McConnell-Trump split did the GOP in. McConnell refused to back candidates like Blake Masters and Don Boldac w/ money, and they went down. Similarly, it would be tragic if Murkowski one just due to being the 2nd choice of Dems w/ ranked-choice voting. That might be fine in primaries, but is ridiculous in the general. I do hope that Rick Scott challenges McConnell for Senate leader regardless of what happens

    Essentially, in this election, except for Florida and Texas, incumbents generally held their own, and the only reason the House flipped was a bunch of Dems in those 2 states being washed away. Otherwise, everywhere else, incumbent Dems have held on to their seats, and so have incumbent Republicans. Was watching Red Eagle Politics, and there, he pointed out that while the GOP improved its performance in the suburbs, it’s in rural areas that their vote share was down, and that’s what did them in

    Anyway, silver lining here: they won’t be able to blame Republicans for things where Biden just needs the Senate. That way, in 2 years, there can be a Trump wave, and once that’s done, the GOP can pick up the Senate and consolidate the House. Trump did a good job turning the GOP more America-First than establishment, and that needs to continue

    Also, congratulations to Ron DeSantis, but squelch all those rumors about running in 2024: he is 44 now, so if he gets elected in 2028, he’ll be 50 then, and assuming he has 2 terms, he’ll be 58 when he retires. So no need to do a primary against Trump. Another prediction: if Trump announces on Nov 15th that he is running, then Biden will announce as well, and that will silence the Dems in any primary there, and then we can see a blowout election assuming Trump manages to remove McConnell completely from sabotaging his candidates

    • Infidel: If enough people are stupid or foolish enough to vote for people like Fetterman, Hochul and Whitmer, then there could definitely be enough stupid or foolish people to vote Dementia Joe a second term. Also, I do wish Trump would heed what Ronald Reagan said and that is don’t speak ill of fellow Republicans (even if some deserve it). Trump calling DeSantis “DeSanctimonius” was completely unnecessary. Trump is a great man but his ego often times is his own worst enemy.

      • I do agree that him mocking Ron DeSantis was uncalled for. But I have different opinions on stuff he said in 2016 about McCain, Bush and Rubio. I think it’s fine for him to speak ill of specific Republicans when they’ve let the party down, like Murkowski, Romney, Cheney and so on. And he needs to continue the fight within the party to end McConnell’s leadership, and let Rick Scott take over

        About the people elected, I agree w/ you that those people are idiots, but it’s also connected to McConnell deliberately sabotaging them so that his own hold on the party doesn’t end. He did what he could to not fund Masters and Boldoc, and they went down. I also think that a good part of the reason these 3 – Hochul, Whitmer and Newsome – won was that almost all Republicans who could flee their states did, and that’s the only thing that explains why they had such high margins. I hope your state and Michigan can be salvaged, but I fear that New York and California are lost for ever

        I think that Pres. Trump realized that afterward, and made a point to say that he voted for DeSantis for his reelection as Florida Gov.

        • Yeah, I watched that speech Monday evening on Rumble to see what the crowd reaction was. It was silence: even though it was not a Florida crowd, they did not appreciate it. He then went on to mention Pence at 10% and Cheney at 4%, and that’s when Cheney got the boos

          I watched Rob Schmitt discuss it as well w/ Dick Morris and Hogan Gidley. They pointed out that it was probably a warning shot to DeSantis not to run in 2024. I do hope DeSantis serves out his full term in Florida, then after the 2026 midterms, announces his run when he has no other jobs on hand

      I wish I could share your enthusiasm; however, I don’t see an upside here. This election shouldn’t have been a Red Wave, it should have been a Red Tsunami. In the House, at minimum 50 incumbents should not have been reelected. In the Senate, at minimum, 15 should not have been reelected. I will leave the possibility of vote tampering to the experts; the widespread use of machines is concerning. I like the idea of voting in one day, in person, paper ballots, heck, if necessary, declare the Midterms and Presidential Elections a National Holiday.

      It appears that every incumbent in the Senate will be reelected. And in the House, will the Republicans take control?

      Then there are the radicals like:

      Ocasio-Cortez in New York District 14, with 71% of the vote in, leads with 70% of the vote.

      Ilhan Omar in Minnesota District 5, with 97% of the vote in, leads with 75% of the vote.

      Rashida Talib in Michigan District 12, with 99% of the vote in, leads with 74% of the vote.

      And on and on it goes.

      As for the 2024 Presidential Election… I doubt that Ole Joey Boy will make it to 2024, unless, his doctor’s come up with a miracle cure for his dementia. I think that he will be forced to step down after January 20, 2023 when the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution of the United States kicks in. The real question is… how will the “power elite” manipulate the system to get their “desired person” into the Oval Office?

      And, will we end up with a President and a Vice President, not elected by we, the people?

        Where did you get the number of 15 senators who should not have been reelected? Pat Toomey was not on the ballot or else he might very well have been reelected by PA voters. Of the thirteen Democratic incumbents seeking reelection, I count six in hard-core Democratic states. What chance was there for California, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Oregon or Washington to turn out Democratic incumbents?

        Then there’s the House numbers. Fifty seats should have changed hands? Unlike in 1994 and 2010, the GOP was just five seats short of control. This is the first election since districts were redrawn. According to RealClearPolitics, the ‘swing’ districts no longer exist. Most districts today are reliably, if not locked in, for one party or the other. The best chance to flip a House seat now is for the incumbent to retire. The other is a presidential election, when more people turn out to vote.

          No argument on the numbers, I concede that it’s wishful thinking. Fifteen was a stretch on the Senate, as I was looking at both the D’s and the R’s and the overall grading by Conservative Review. However, 50 should have been easily attained in the House. Apparently, the American people are willing to endure any and all abuse, rather than switch parties, especially when the evidence indicates that it’s in their best interest to do so.

          I was suspicious about this election starting with Biden’s speech on September 1, 2022 in Philadelphia and then I read what Charlie Crist, candidate for Governor of Florida said:

          “Those who support [DeSantis] should stay with him and vote for him and I don’t want your vote. If you have that hate in your heart, keep it there. I want the vote of the people of Florida who care about our state, good Democrats, good Independents, good Republicans. Unify with this ticket. Unify with Val Demmings and Charlie Crist. Unify with us. Those who are haters, you’re gonna go off in your own world. And you better get right.”

          Why in the world, in an election year, would any candidate say the things that Biden and Crist said?

          So, it appears that the American people, especially those who voted Democrat, will now suffer the consequences of their actions. When you hear anyone who voted Democrat complain about the increase in the crime rate or high taxes or high prices for fuel, food, clothing, rent, taxes, etc. simply tell him/her if they want someone to blame… look in the mirror.

        I doubt that Ole Joey will be forced out, since the next in line would be Que Mala, who’s worse – if that was even possible! However, like I said above, it wasn’t a united GOP: it was Mitch vs Trump in some key races that let them down. Also, I think there are enough people who won’t move unless Trump, or someone like DeSantis is on the ballot. Which is why Florida absolutely blew out the Dems, even giving places like Miami-Dade and Palm Beach to the GOP, whereas in other rural areas in the country, the vote was lukewarm

        I also agree w/ PMK above, and note that there ain’t any ‘swing’ voters or ‘independents’ left: everybody is either a die-hard communist voting for the Dems, or dedicated social conservatives voting for the GOP. For you to have a wave or a tsunami, you need water, but if all the water is frozen in 2 places in the form of 2 icebergs, you’d have to melt them before you can think of any wave

        Final point: one thing I loved last night was that there were certain seats in places like Alabama and Texas where there was no Democrat presence: the Republican who won defeated the closest Libertarian candidate. I do hope that the Libertarian party starts replacing the Dems as the main opposition to the GOP

  4. It might be very possible the Tom Wolf did have have his insidious and sinister hand in getting John Fetterman in the 11/8/22 election to “win” that position in the US Pennsylvania Senate.

    After all,Wolf meddled and interfered in the Presidential election of 2020 when he took part in that crooked rigged Pa election fraud in November 2020 fraud in which involved mail in voting farce play its sinister larger schemed National election hoax. Wolf knows a very effective voter cheating ploy and he’s will not give it up. Therefore Wolf will done likewise for Fetterman.

  5. With Fetterman elected as Senator in Pennsylvania I hope the democrats do not over water their vegetable he could get moldy .We do not want mold spores infecting the rest of the Senate ,and some of them catching what ever disease John Fetterman has.

  6. If Fetterman become too ill to serve, or dies(I am not wishing any ill towards him but he is not well health wise) who decides how he is replaced ?

    • The Governor of Pennsylvania, who will be Democrat Shapiro, would then make a temporary Senatorial appointment (could be Fetterman’s Brazilian-born wife) until a special election is held to fill the Senatorial seat. This is to be found in Article 1, Section 3 of the Constitution though because of the 17th Amendment (1913) the PA state legislature would not select a Senator but the people of PA would.

        We were also cheering for Hung Cao.

        Here in AZ we are holding on to hopes and prayers. As I write, only 62% of our votes have been counted. Big fiasco with voting machines in Phoenix area. We may not know who wins until Friday.

        So Lake and Masters may still prevail. ???

        • I hope, GreekEmpress, that both Lake and Masters will prevail. Seems Arizona is as much of a disgrace as my state of Pennsylvania respecting accurate voter tabulation.

          Florida, Ohio too, has shown the way in an accurate vote count but I am of a mind that Democrats don’t want Florida to be the example par excellence of how voting should occur. As usual, I am concerned as much about Democratic shenanigans as I am of all the fools (or worse) still voting Democrat—and which is in keeping with my conviction that while the Republican Party has lots of faults, the principal enemy of America remaining the land of the free and the home of the brave is not some outside nemesis like Russia, China or the Islamic world, but right here within, i.e., the Democratic Party.

          We had to make a similar choice here in AZ for AG.
          A far left Dem more concerned with promoting climate change than enforcing state laws, or a Syrian Muslim Republican whose father was linked to a bombing of a Jewish place of worship.
          Talk about being between the rock and hard place.
          It’s Thursday morning now, and we STILL don’t know who won here.

          I looked and it seems that Abe Hamadeh’s parents are mixed faith – islam and Druze. Not sure that he is a practicing muslim. Somehow, I was under the impression that he was an Iranian convert to Christianity or something

  7. The voting citizen in this 2022 Pennsylvania election for the Senate had an awful choice between two politicians of the Devil. It was a rather difficult for some people to decide which one of them is the lesser of the two evils.

    For then is comes right down to it “the lesser of two evils is still evil.”

    It’s was a choice between two possible very un -american politicians, even though neither of them are honest enough to come right out and admit it.

    If voting a stealth jihadists or a Marxist. How awful.

      I don’t see these candidates as evil. Every candidate has his flaws. I never vote for the ‘lesser evil’. I frequently have to vote for the ‘least worst choice”. That person may not be the best candidate to elect, but he’s better than the alternative. We may have bad choices but that doesn’t make them evil.

    • Walter: Trump goofed up big time in Pennsylvania, my home state all of my life—I was born here and I will be buried here. He ideally should have endorsed Kathy Barnette (and whom I and my wife voted for in the primary) but at least he should have endorsed David McCormick, something of a RINO but still far preferable to Oz.

      McCormick, a graduate of West Point, would have definitely beaten Fetterman, but Oz with all his baggage, including being a Muslim, was a simply horrible choice by Trump. My sister, who has a son who graduated from West Point, was quite angry about Trump’s choice of Oz even though she voted for Trump in both 2016 and 2020.

      Trump is too taken with famous people. It’s part of the subset of his enormous weakness which is his ego—which ego sometimes holds him in good stead but which many times also works against him, like his backing of Oz in Pennsylvania and who was a terrible candidate. I cast my most reluctant vote in my entire voting life for Oz just yesterday since I never thought I would ever vote for a Muslim, but since Leftism at present is even a greater menace than Islam here in America I did what I did on this basis.

      While I think Trump a great man who did much good for America I still resented his stupid backing of Oz in the PA Senatorial race. It was an atrocious choice and so many staunch conservatives like myself and my wife (and so many other conservatives that I know here in PA, including many family members) were really ticked off by Trump in this regard. His greatest weakness is picking bad people, like Christopher Wray to head the FBI or Jeff Sessions and Bill Barr for Attorney General—Rex Tillerson too as his first Secretary of State.

      Trump needs to learn this. I fear he won’t.

      • Watching Matt Walsh just now, he pointed out that Oz is actually a Leftist who supported the trans stuff a decade ago before it became the fad. I also thought his response on the abortion question and whether he’d support Graham’s bill was ridiculous

        But I do think Mastriano could have used more support in the run up to these elections. Now, there will continue to be no check on DAs like Larry Krasner or Alvin Bragg or Kim Foxx

        A few rallies ago, after Pres. Trump stated that he endorsed Oz, the audience reacted with a 50-50 mixture of cheers and boos.

  9. All the ballots on the voter rolls have to be printed. Did you ever wonder what happened to all the millions of ballots that are printed and not mailed? For example, in the last 6 years, New York City removed 22 people from their voter rolls. Do you think than only 22 people in NYC either died or moved? No, like every other county in the USA, there are far more people on the voter rolls than adults in the county. Over a hundred million ballots are printed but not mailed. I’ll bet you that a lot of those ballots that were printed and never mailed ended up voting.

    The election board sent me an email saying that my vote was counted before the election. So they knew what the results were going to be before the election.

    Affidavits witness that the dirty ballots are sent to a voting center and voted as instructed. Then some of those are dumped back into the election and counted as needed.
