“A video of Pakistani cricketer Ahmed Shehzad attempting to convert Sri Lankan cricketing legend TM Dilshan to Islam went viral on social media.” Shehzad’s message: “If you are a non-Muslim and you turn Muslim, no matter whatever you do in your life, straight to heaven.” Although Christianity preaches about heaven, it also preaches forgiveness, peace and love. This is the catch with Islam:
There is another act which elevates the position of a man in Paradise to a grade one hundred (higher), and the elevation between one grade and the other is equal to the height of the heaven from the earth. He (Abu Sa`id) said: What is that act? He replied: Jihad in the way of Allah! Jihad in the way of Allah! (Sahih Muslim 1884)
No deed is greater than jihad in the way of Allah, and the Qur’an makes it clear that this jihad involves violence (see, for example, 8:12 and 47:4).
“Many Pakistani cricketers, mostly former players such as Inzamam-ul-Haq, Saeed Anwar, Muhammad Yusuf, Saqlain Mushtaq, and other have taken to Islamic preaching after announcing their retirement.” What makes this trend disconcerting is that sports and entertainment stars are highly influential, especially among youth. Pakistan is known for its persecution of religious minorities, as well as for being a state funder of jihad terror. Its blasphemy laws are used to persecute and subjugate religious minorities.
Although no detailed account of what is being preached by the cricketers who get into Islamic preaching has been disclosed, the pattern is troubling. OpIndia ran an eye-opening story last month entitled: “The bigots of Pakistan cricket: Here’s how Pakistani cricketers have normalised communal bigotry against non-Muslims,” which bears the subtitle: For former Pakistan captain Imran Khan, cricket match against India was always a ‘jihad’. Imran Khan as former Prime Minister of Pakistan has an extensive file at Jihad Watch. See HERE.
“‘Turn Muslim, no matter what you do in life, you go to heaven’: Old video of Pakistani cricketer Ahmed Shehzad persuading TM Dilshan to embrace Islam goes viral,” OpIndia, November 5, 2022:
On Friday (November 4), a video of Pakistani cricketer Ahmed Shehzad attempting to convert Sri Lankan cricketing legend TM Dilshan to Islam went viral on social media.
A 21-second long video clip of the incident was shared on Twitter by a user named Incognito X (@Incognito_jkl). “If you are a non-Muslim and you turn Muslim, no matter whatever you do in your life, straight to heaven,” Shehzad was heard as saying.
Dilshan did not seem to pay any heed to the comments of the Pakistani cricketer. However, when the Sri Lankan legend finally responded (which was not captured by the microphone), Ahmed Shehzad warned, “Then be ready for the (Hell) fire.”
While reflecting on the on-field proselytization by the Pakistani cricketer, the Twitter user wrote, “Pakistan Cricket Team has 11 maulvis (clerics), not 11 cricketers.”
The Origins of the viral video
The viral video, dating back to August 30, 2014, was shot during the 3rd ODI match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan. The match was hosted at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium by the island nation….
Following his international debut in 1999, he dropped his Muslim name ‘Tuwan Mohamed Dilshan.’ Thereafter, the Sri Lankan legend adopted his mother’s Sinhalese-Buddhist identity under the name Tillakaratne Mudiyanselage Dilshan.
Similarly, many other Pakistani cricketers, mostly former players such as Inzamam-ul-Haq, Saeed Anwar, Muhammad Yusuf, Saqlain Mushtaq, and other have taken to Islamic preaching after announcing their retirement. Some of them have continued being connected with cricket in some or the other capacity, but that has not stopped them from routinely conducting sessions to preach Islamic religious scriptures…..

“‘Turn Muslim, no matter what you do in life, you go to heaven’” Where did he get this? Must be from the Quran where you are also encouraged to use Taqiya and extortion against infidels.
The Bible is clear about Gods revealed Truths on Heaven and Hell. People don’t have the authority or power to send anyone to Hell or to declare a free pass to Heaven.
Jesus said very clearly who has that kind of power and authority.
“I will show you whom you should be afraid of. Be afraid of the one who has the authority to throw you into hell after you have been killed. Yes, I tell you, be afraid of him.” (Luke 12:5 NIRV)
What was Jesus referring to? After God destroys the wicked and the body is slain He has the power to move the wicked soul down to the pit. A few examples.
“But now you have been brought down to the place of the dead. You have been thrown into the deepest part of the pit. “Those who see you stare at you.” (Isaiah 14:15-16)
“So I will bring you down together with those who go down into the grave. The people there lived long ago. You will have to live in the earth below. It will be like living in buildings that were destroyed many years ago. You will go down into the grave along with others. And you will never come back. You will not take your place in this world again.” (Ezekiel 26:20, Ezekiel 32,)
So here we see that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the one Jesus was referring to. He holds the power to bring the soul down to the pit (Hell) after the body is slain. There really is no such thing as RIP according to these truths revealed in the Bible.
So for this Muslim, if He fears God, repents of his wicked ways brought on by the Quran and converts and lives in obedience to Jesus (not Mohammed, no Taqiya or Jizya here) then he can confidently say:
“LORD, you brought me up from the place of the dead. You kept me from going down into the pit.“ (Psalms 30:3)

What deluded creatures Muslims are if they get around believing that whatever they do in this life, they will go to Heaven. And they certainly do lots of extraordinarily evil things – all those endless terrorist murders committed by Muslims, all the Muslim rape gangs and so on. I’d say they are on the highway straight to hell. I would say, “Turn Muslim and you will spend your life believing in a god, allah, who doesn’t exist, and a prophet, Muhammad, who also never existed at all but was made up later on by a bunch of evil men, If you want to spend your life believing in a load of complete bullshit, then turn muslim.”

I really wish Matthew Hayden would quit that job of Pakistan’s team mentor, where he’s covering everything right upto Babur Azam’s ‘commitment to islam’. Has he gone insane? Pakistan have millions of home grown dawagandists who can do that: they don’t need an infidel from Oz (unless Hayden’s converted) to show them that
tim gallagher says
Yes, Infidel, I saw Hayden being interviewed briefly a couple of times on TV news reports. On one, just before Pakistan were to meet England in the final, he said that he hoped that Pakistan would win (well, obviously he would as he is earning money coaching the Pakistanis) but it was more along the lines that we Australians always want England to get beaten, and we always want to beat England, because we have the strong old rivalry (I guess you would say friendly but fierce rivalry with England as the country that set up Australia and England is sort of a big brother and all). I don’t know what Hayden is about. Just a clueless person when it comes to islam, like so many. And i guess some of these old sports players do have trouble finding ways to earn their money in later years. I was very glad that England beat Pakistan because I know what a foul, barbaric Muslim country pakistan is. This is nothing to do with the cricket, but I was watching a bit of horse racing on a recent Saturday afternoon, the Spring racing carnival is pretty big out here including the Melbourne Cup and there was this very attractive young woman doing some reporting and she began interviewing Matthew Hayden who was at the races. The extremely attractive young woman was his daughter. I hadn’t seen or heard anything about Hayden for a couple of years. He must have married a beautiful woman because his daughter was very good looking. I guess that Hayden is totally clueless about islam and maybe just quite dumb in general..

As I say below, since a Paki minister claimed that a Pak victory in cricket is a victory for islam, conversely, a Pak defeat is a defeat for islam. So England saw to it yesterday that islam was defeated ?
tim gallagher says
Infidel, I was extremely pleased that England won because it meant a defeat for Pakistan. I think a huge percentage of the fans at the match were Pakistanis who now live here and I knew that they would be bound to think that any win by Pakistan would be a win for islam. It is the way they think. I would have hated to see Pakistan win and all the over the top celebrating that the Pakistanis would have no doubt carried on with. I’m glad to see England doing well. They were very weak when here last summer for the Test series and were very easily beaten by Australia.

“‘Turn Muslim, no matter what you do in life, you go to heaven’” Where did he get this?
Indeed, where does this doctrine come from? Note that you gain heaven no matter what you do, not from being a Muslim, but from *turning* Muslim. That is, a non-Muslim who converts to Islam is guaranteed heaven, but a lifelong Muslim is not. Please cite the Quran or hadith passage from which this kafir-favoring doctrine is derived.

Actually, people who voluntarily turn muslim do so fully knowing that they need to commit jihad atrocities against the rest of us. That’s very different from people who are born muslim, where there is a range of intensity in belief – from the closet-atheists to agnostics to the 5-pillar my-personal-islam practitioners (no wine or pork) to the people who root for jihad but don’t do it themselves to the actual jihadis. The last 2 categories are more favorably looked on by muslims, as opposed to the first 2

This sort of belief explains a great deal of what Muslims do.

On this story, it’s surprising that it’s surfacing now, given that I had seen reports of Paki cricketers abusing Dilshan back from 2014, when Pakistan toured Sri Lanka. If one recalls, all international teams had stopped touring Pakistan following a jihad attack on the bus taking the Sri Lankan players. Also, while there were Pakistanis in the inaugural IPL (India’s annual T20 cricket league held in April-May every year) in 2008, the antics of those guys, like doing their prayers right in the field even if they were the only muslims there, was so weird that after 2009, IPL teams stopped bidding on any Pakistani cricketers
Anyway, the Twitter user was correct. This Pakistani team has 11 dawagandists rather than cricketers. All cricket nations, maybe apart from Afghanistan and Bangladesh, should avoid any cricket tournaments w/ them, be it in Pakistan or their home countries or even the Emirates
On a different note, congratulations to England for beating Pakistan in the World Cup finals. If one takes the claims of a former Pakistani minister seriously that a Pakistani win is a win for islam, then in today’s game, islam got beaten! Dunno whether it was by the Anglican church or modern British secularism, but islam got beaten! ?????????
