Joe Biden is under pressure to ban Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi, known as the Butcher of Baghdad, from an upcoming U.N. appearance. In the interests of national security, Biden should refuse the Raisi visit, but as usual his weakness and appeasement prevails.
The first commitment of the American government should be national security, which Joe Biden and his Democrat cronies have long abandoned. Just look at the Southern border to see how much American national security really matters to Joe Biden.

Seven Republican senators sent a letter on Aug. 2 to U.S. President Joe Biden urging him to deny visas for Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his delegation to attend the U.N. General Assembly in September. Raisi is scheduled to speak at the event.
A State Department spokesperson told JNS that it is “generally obligated under the United Nations Headquarters Agreement to facilitate travel” by U.N. member representatives. The spokesperson added: “We take our obligations under the U.N. Headquarters Agreement seriously. At the same time, the Biden administration has not and will not waver in protecting and defending all Americans against threats of violence and terrorism.”
The spokesperson said that visa records are confidential under U.S. law and couldn’t be discussed.
The senators wrote that “Raisi’s involvement in mass murder and the Iranian regime’s campaign to assassinate U.S. officials on American soil make allowing Raisi and his henchmen to enter our country an inexcusable threat……

The real solution to all this is to eject the UN headquarters out of New York, and let them have in in Geneva, Brussels, Davos or some European city that they can enjoy. Once that is done, the US would no longer have to grant visas to world leaders of whom it takes a dim view

Many of us have wanted this for a long time, with a bonus: the UN out of the US and the US out of the UN. Prime real estate in NYC could be reclaimed. Geneva is the perfect spot, since it’s the original home of the League of Nations and those facilities still stand.
It hasn’t happened yet, but UN officials want the US to build a new HQ for them In New York, since the old building is just too old.

As explained by a former Iranian Revolutionary Guard member who defected to the West and how now lives in America his book also informs the reader about the malicious and murderous affront girls in Iran’s Evin prison which reads that those in power, the “paraded teenage girls in front in front of me as they led them to their deaths. These girls were barely out of their childhood, barely old enough to think of themselves, much less form thoughts against the state. They knew nothing about the machinations of politics. They were innocent in every sense of the word and certainty innocent of trumped –up charges that led to their imprisonment. As much as I hate to say it, Dementia Joe and his crony’s are correct. Raisi, as a head of state of a member country of the UN, has a right to go to the headquarters of the UN and waffle his murderous drivel.
OK, fine, they have to be there. Put the whole manky lot into a mini van, drive them straight to the UN from the airport.
Keep them all under armed guard, for their own protection of course.
Let the murderer drivel his filth. Then throw the whole filthy lot back into the mini van, drive them straight back to the airport, once again, under armed guard for their protection.
Then give them a fighter escort out of US airspace.
This could all be achieved and this sack of crap would not even be able to sully US soil with his filthy foot prints.

Just a little reminder. About Trump and Islam.
He welcomed muslim friends to his Ishtar dinner, in the White House, where he made a sweet speech, on how great islam is, and blah blah blah, and also had the murderer of Christians, the man named Buhari, the leader of Nigeria, stand beside him on the White House lawn, while he made a speech, glorifying him in so many ways, with only the last statement being short, about the killing of Christians needed to be stopped (or something like that). In which, Buhari merely just smiled, and didn’t say a word. Of course, Christians then, and now, are still being brutally murdered there. Myself, I don’t understand why Christians won’t leave that country. Either they can’t, or won’t for some unknown reason, and so it goes.
I have both of those speeches archived, and I don’t know if they are still on the White House dot gov website, to be read.
Anyway, I’m sure you already know about these two speeches? The Ishtar dinner speech by Trump, I saw, was on youtube still.

Joan, per a 2012 poll–the most recent I can see–Nigeria is 49.3 percent Christian and 48.8 percent Muslim. Except for Cameroon, the surrounding nations have *larger* Muslim populations than does Nigeria, or about the same, as Benin.
And President Trump’s confronting Buhari over the murder of Christians in Nigeria is *not* an indication of his not caring about Christians, as you constantly claim. Could he have done more? Undoubtedly–I wish he had.
But Biden has said nothing at all about the persecution and slaughter of Christians in Nigeria, and you seem fine with this. Not sure why.
