Far too many Muslim leaders spew hatred and incitement to violence against infidels, and yet are ignored. No infidel professor in the West could possibly escape front page news everywhere and a loss of his reputation for declaring with glee (as Professor Koushki does) that Rushdie was already “a dead man walking” after publication of The Satanic Verses; and for praising Khomeini’s “wisdom to issue this verdict back then, so that such a thing would never repeat itself.”
But Dr. Mohammad Sadegh Koushki isn’t being publicized in mainstream media, because his words (like those of multitudes of others) expose the truth about the Sharia and the seriousness and threat of the jihad. They also highlight why mainstream Islam is not a religion of peace. Why else would Leftists, who are quick to insult Christianity and defend Islam, avoid insulting Islam?
In the West, there is one set of rules for non-Muslims who criticize the narrative that Islam is a religion of peace, and another for Muslims, exonerating them of any and all hatred, incitement and deception to keep the religion-of-peace lie going.

Dr. Mohammad Sadegh Koushki: “[Salman Rushdie] is dead. He died when Imam [Khomeini] declared this verdict. He has been a dead man walking. This person who says that life only exists in this world and when a person dies it’s all over has been unable to sleep for 33 years, whether at night or during the day. Imam [Khomeini] caused this man to suffer and be tormented for 33 years. For 33 years, his life has been a living hell. He did not have a single moment of happiness. Take a look now. This [assassination attempt] took place, and it is none of my business who did this, but people like [Rushdie] who want to do such a stupid thing, will not dare from now on. Imam [Khomeini] had the wisdom to issue this verdict back then, so that such a thing would never repeat itself. [Rushdie] will go to hell — and it doesn’t matter who did this… If he goes to Hell, we still don’t want anyone to dare to do similar acts of insolence.
“Look, we respond to ideas with ideas, but when insults are hurled, we respond according to the law. According to Islamic Law, apostates are sentenced to execution. As I have said earlier, 57 Muslim countries that were members in the Organization of Islamic Conference had ratified this verdict.

As a professor of law, Koushki undoubtedly knows that the blasphemy punishment and the apostasy punishment are both in discriminatory Sharia law and both rules apply to Salman Rushdie who is both an apostate from and blasphemer of Islam. He sees nothing wrong with that. It is Allah’s law. And yet it isn’t ‘Allah’s’ but ‘man’s law’ like any other law code.
Sharia law is a man-made law code codified in the late Middle Ages by Muslim scholars before the Enlightenment in Europe which led to a growing recognition of human rights in law.
In short, Islam has NEVER EVOLVED even as far as the 18th century, since Sharia law was declared fully codified in 1111 AD, after which Sharia law was considered final. Sharia abrogates the Koran and the hadiths, but Sharia may NEVER EVER be abrogated. Sharia law is now INFALLIBLE … Sharia is a paper pope of Islam.
Islam has a DEAD paper pope which can never be overruled. ISLAM IS THUS STUCK IN THE MIDDLE AGES and MAY NEVER ESCAPE.

Oh, really? Well, the biggest IDEA of Rushdie is in the title of his book ‘The Satanic Verses’. Koushki should begin with addressing the original SATANIC VERSES, for Islam falls upon them.
The satanic verses came FROM MOHAMMED by his own confession, and they are recorded in the Koran as well as ‘accepted’ hadiths. These ‘satanic’ verses coming from Satan actually REFUTE Mohammed’s prophecies and they also DESTROY Mohammed’s credibility as a valid prophet. A valid prophet would not teach something that directly refutes his revelation and the MOST IMPORTANT topic in his revelation. ‘Satanic’ indeed!
Because the satanic verses refute Mohammed’s most important idea, they are the most EMBARRASSING part of the Koran. Mohammed committed the GREATEST CRIME OF BLASPHEMY of all according to Sharia law. That is, Mohammed attributed partners to Allah, which is an unforgiveable sin in Islam. Why did Allah not kill Mohammed or why did he not kill himself … oh, I get it. Sharia law was not codified for another 500 years! The mullahs of the Middle Ages knew more about Islam than Mohammed!
Islam is an ‘HONOR/SHAME’ culture, so it doesn’t matter whether a shameful fact spoken in public is true or not. The concern is the LOSS TO THE ‘HONOR’ of Islam.
Mohammad Sadegh Koushki cannot admit that the satanic verses destroy Mohammed’s claim to prophethood. If Mohammed could not tell the voice of Allah from the voice of Satan, then how did he tell the voice of Jibreel from the voice of Satan. How do we know that MANY or MOST or even ALL the verses in the Koran are not also SATANIC verses? The answer is ‘we don’t know’ … because Mohammed is the only authority on Islam … and he has no credibility because of the satanic verses.
The SATANIC VERSES are the biggest can of worms for Muslims … so they tried to BRUSH THESE IDEAS OUT OF PUBLIC AWARENESS.

Quite wrong. There will be more people than ever who criticise Islam because people like Khamenei and “Dr” Mohammad Sadegh Koushk are so full of hate for Jews that they cannot help but bring down a judgement upon Iran in which “Allah” and Muhammad show no interest. Frankly, Allah does nothing, all the revenge is in the hearts of some murderous Muslims who mostly had no earthly future and bought into the false promises of glory for murder.
Perhaps the University of Tehran is also one of Israel’s targets if they are attacked or forced to end Iran’s nuclear weapons program. It would be a good lesson for Koushk to learn that anyone approving brutality can receive the same.

Implicit in his statement is that the Koran is embarrassing. Sure! Did Mo actually have ANY ideas that were worthwhile? How even illiterates can accept the nonsense that pretends to be a religious tome is beyond reason. But Mortimer appears to have studied the words from a scholar’s viewpoint. Me? I read a copy more or less because I wanted a good laugh. When I got to the part talking about how the “sun revolved around the earth,” it was pretty clear that ol’ Mo was fantasizing about his “Allah.” I mean, if a god is all knowing, all seeing, all everything, then how come it didn’t know that planet earth is NOT the center of the universe? Isn’t it obvious that the problem with islam is that people who believe in a god regard islam as another religion, more or less equivalent to their own? So it has “reflected legitimacy”. In other words, it is treated with kid-gloves because Christians and Jews wonder down deep if their own faith isn’t misplaced.
