Conservative commentators from various religious backgrounds, such as Jews and Catholics, have in recent years emphasized the need for America to rediscover its moral roots in Biblical belief. William E. Wolfe, a Southern Baptist former official in the administration of President Donald Trump and political activist on Capitol Hill and with organizations such as the Heritage Foundation, has joined the fray, particularly with a recent article online with Liberty University’s Standing for Freedom Center. Therein Wolfe notes the Christian roots of the United States’ founding era, and especially their Protestant nature. As Protestants still form the majority of America’s Christians, they cannot be absent in any American sociopolitical revival. Wolfe joined Conservative Casual Friday show host Andrew E. Harrod (@AEHarrod) to discuss the particular Protestant relationship to free societies and leftist infiltration of American institutions, including religious ones, among other matters.
Kepha says
Speaking as a Protestant, the Protestant Mainline in America has been engaged in a grand experiment in self-destruction since the late 19th century.

First, it should be made clear the American was not founded of the horrendously evil and horrible WOKE as well as other nonsensical forms of PC philosophy.
Second, much of the greatness of the history of the United States of America is because this nation was, mostly founded and based upon the Judo- Christian precepts and the concepts and values of Bible based Christianity and not Islamic precepts and “values.”
As the second President of the United States, John Adams, had, so well, declared when he wrote that “The general principles upon which the Fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity …. I will avow that I believed and now believe that those general principles of Christianity are eternal and immutable as the existence of God.”

You had this religious revival thing back in the Crater administration, lead by one Falwell, that did not last either. Stop depending on a mythical being floating around somewhere and the delusion that he/she/it cares about humanity. Just face the problems of getting a grip on life. The first step is to vote out as many Dems as possible in November and curb the Biden regime
bill says
Carter of course not Crater though it may have been a Freudian slip!
Bikinis not Burkas says
Hallelujah brother give me your money and I will offer you salvation!
That’s how it works they offer what they can’t deliver just like the old “Snake oil salesmen”.
somehistory says
Hallelujah means Praise Jehovah, Almighty God, written about in the Bible. The God of the Jews and the God of Christians.
If you don’t believe, that is your choice. But the meaning of the word you wrote, remains the meaning.
