Nothing that a bit of “dialogue” won’t cure, eh, Pope Francis? Yet the Catholic Church has been engaging in such “dialogue” for years now, and things of this kind still happen. Now, why is that?

Again, suspected bandits reportedly kidnapped two Catholic priests, Reverend Fathers John Cheitnum and Donatus Cleopas, on there way to a function in the Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The Chancellor, Catholic Diocese of Kafancha, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Okolo, said in a statement released to newsmen in Kaduna that the attack took place on Friday evening.
This is coming less than a week when the remains of the slain Reverend Father Vitus Borogo, also a Catholic priest, killed by terrorists on his farm, were buried in the state capital on Thursday.
Borogo was killed on June 25, 2022, while his brother CY Borogo was kidnapped by his abductors.
The development sparked protests among priests in the Kaduna Archdiocese, forcing them to carry placard in venting their anger over the deteriorating spate of insecurity across the country, especially in the state (Kaduna)….

I still remember when Trump invited Buhari, the Nigeria president, to the White House lawn, and made a speech, and it was so sweet, I felt I had a 5lb bag in my stomach! lol…it did really make feel ill. I’m sure everyone knows that anytime a president makes any speech, anywhere, every word is recorded and placed in a government institution.
I’m not sure how long they are kept, but anyone can go to Whitehouse dot gov, and I’m sure it’s easy enough for someone to find where they keep the speeches there.
Anyway, I believe I kept a video of it. That site I mentioned, only has the typed word version.
And so, some of the most remembered statements I have is, Trump telling Buhari in so many ways, how much he appreciated him being there. And yes, that’s normal of course. But sometimes, someone might get carried away with it. Lol.
Another thing I remember is Trump telling him, that “they” (Trump, government), gave them billions of dollars. And spoke of the many weapons, Trump gave them.
He spoke of the jobs, he had sent over there, and a few other things, but what got me, was, it was almost at the end of the speech, that he finally made a one-sentence comment, that I was waiting for him to mention. And so if I recall, Trump just asked him to assist in not so many Christians being killed. And that was that.
But no, that wasn’t that. I could go find the article in my archive/collection, to get the exact date, but I’ll just say it was 4 or 5 years ago. From Trump’s speech to Buhari, till today, many murders are still going on, of Christians. It hasn’t stopped, decreased, etc
I haven’t read anything since then, so I’m curious if they’re still getting billions of this countries money. Since it was Trump who said that, and initiated it, and Biden has axed everything Trump ever done, I’m wondering if we’re still paying billions to them.

President Trump at least broached the issue of the genocide of Christians in Nigeria–and he did not mince words. He asked, “why are you killing Christians?”.
As for aid to Nigeria, it received $505 million from the US in 2020 and 2021, and Biden increased the aid by $104 million last year.
None of this appears to have gone to Nigeria fighting Jihad. No surprise there.
