What does Islam teach about abortion? This question has become particularly pressing after the Supreme Court’s bombshell reversal in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization of the 1973 precedent, Roe v. Wade, which in conjunction with other Supreme Court cases proclaimed an unlimited constitutional “right” of abortion. Now Americans of all backgrounds, including Muslims, will decide on the legality of abortion directly at the ballot box.
Ismail Royer, a former member of the Hamas front group Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) who spent 14 years in federal prison for terrorism-related offenses, now directs the Religious Freedom Institute’s Islam and Religious Freedom Action Team as part of his claimed desire to lead a reformed life. He joined Conservative Casual Friday show host Andrew E. Harrod to discuss questions including: Is Islam really pro-life? How are diverse American Muslims approaching a post-Roe future? The conversation was highly stimulating for Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
EDITOR’S UPDATE: Royer explained on Twitter why he did this interview:
The listener should be accordingly cautious of being deceived. — RS

Not having listened, I know not what he said.
What I do know, mozlums in other places have been happy to kill and cut open pregnant women, thereby killing the mother and her unborn baby.
One must have a regard for “all human life” and a respect for the fact that others have the same *right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,* as Americans are guaranteed by the Constitution…for now anyway…and given by God to all humans everywhere…or they can’t be trusted to decide what is right regarding the unborn.
mozlums all over the world are taking innocent lives for their fake ‘god’ and false ‘prophet’ and that murderous course includes tiny children.

Not just that, the very practice of honor killings – legitimized in the quran in the chapter on Khidr – where parents can kill their kids any time for any reason – makes a mockery of the claim that islam is pro-life. If a muslim toddler dared enjoy, say, an infidel festival and his/her parents were serious believers, they’d be fully justified by shariah law in killing that kid

What is wrong with the recording (audio only?) you see when you click on the word “conversation” above?
The duration of the recording is not displayed, nor is there any way to skip ahead in the recording.

I listened and it is simply obfuscation of the issues by Royer. And what is the obfuscation? The usual assertion that ‘most muslim’ just want to provide for their families, etc etc, and of course I have no problem with that generatlization but….. there is no recognition of the Jihadist call within the Qu’ran, hadiths, Sira, and that the Jihadists who calll for the death to infidels, dealth to Israel death to apostates are not recognized by him but rather ignored, washed away in the sea of ordinary muslims who just want to take care of their families. The Jihadists- exist in every nation inhabited by muslims and especially outside of muslim nations- and that call to homicidism,to special privilege for muslims, for non muslims to not offend Islam by questioning Islam and their prophet as most certainly occurs with Jewish christiian buddhist Hindhu religion. The ‘most muslims’ bit is the obfuscation and denial of the problem of Jihad, the problems of Sharia, the supremacy of Islam commanded by Sharia law and the overwhelming numbers of homicidists across the globe who are muslim by faith and it’s impact on the nations and other cultures of the world.
