Communist ideology is Jamie’s area of expertise. N.R. Nyquist is equally expert on Chinese communism. It is a pleasure to hear such an informed discussion.
When there is no political opposition, the ruling Nomenklatura say what they wish without being challenged on the reality, truth or desirableness of their ideas and plans.
Ideology like this, plus an enormous, fanatical army, navy and air force means trouble. Communist China has no mechanism to even question the government.

What happened January 6th was a protest of the obvious corruption of the November 3rd election that was infiltrated by provocateurs.
Any other description is spurious.

I think China will experience a bloodbath similar to Russia if they dare invade Taiwan. It won’t be anything remotely similar to Tibet or Xinjiang

he said that if china takes over the island as they want to do, they will move the people of Taiwan to china in order to force them to think as they want them to….to make them know they are not free any longer as they are now. china will enslave and kill them if they don’t begin to agree with what china wants to do.
