Predictable Leftism, Transavia is taking the jihadist perspective as its own.
“Dutch airline ‘wipes’ Israel off the map,” by Shimon Yaish, Israel Hayom, July 4, 2022:
Passengers traveling from France to Israel were shocked to discover this week that Dutch airline Transavia did not have Israel on its list of countries, but did include Palestine.
The Israeli passengers, who were traveling back home, said they made several attempts to find Israel on the list, but to no avail.
“We tried to find Israel and complete the check-in in advance, but we just couldn’t find it,” the passengers told Israel Hayom. “We didn’t really understand why, and we checked a few times and Israel wasn’t on the list, but Palestine was, which is crazy.”
Unable to find Israel on the list, the passengers arrived at the airport without prior check-in….
A few days later, the airline announced that it had experienced technical difficulties and apologized for the inconvenience.
Transavia did not respond to a request for comment by Israel Hayom.

It is beyond the pale. I recall in 1973 when every country in western Europe shut its doors to El Al aircraft arriving from the US and did not allow aircraft to land in order to refuel, only Holland permitted landings. But I believe this was not policy just oversight. Very likely an extreme leftist or a Muslim employed by the airlines caused this “technical difficulty.”

You are most likely 100% correct. I must say thank goodness this site does exist as it brings out in the open certain things which make me believe that not only Jews nor Israël are threatened but everyone else who are not Jews nor Arabs, so that they would have to support those who seem to spend ALL their time in attempting to pretend that Israël should not exist. Why is it they want to get rid of all Jews ? I don’t think they will ever get rid of them at all haha. But think this, if ever they did, they would be so proud of themselves, they would then say that Christians must convert to their pseudo-religion or be rid off as well. I am a Christian with a Spanish converso maiden name who has been studying that very false religion for the past 42 years. I cannot imagine the so-called god Allah, asking them to get rid of people who refuse to believe in him. In any case after studying the history of origins of Islam, (those people including Robert Spencer who have made great researches to find out the real and genuine truth) I am glad to be a Christian who accepts as well as admires Jews who have been through so much.

The British Mandate terminated on 15 May 1948, and the political entity called ‘Palestine’ passed into history.
Roman Palestina ended in the year 636–637. Neither the Arabs nor the later Ottoman empire referred to the region as Palestine.
Mandatory Palestine was so named by Britain and the League of Nations because the name was from the Romans.
Arabs always called this region Lower Syria. There is no reason for Arabs to use the word ‘Palestine’, since it implies the Roman and European Crusader occupations.

It’s ok, after the Muslims take over Israel and call it all Palestine, they’ll then conquer Holland and call it Hollandestine, there won’t be any Netherlands to land at.

Sadly I am not surprised at all. But I am glad that it is still an outrage. It should be. A good way to combat this BS is encourage everyone you know to travel to Israel for pleasure/vacation/business at least once in their life.

Why don’t folk call “Palestine” by its first & proper name? JUDEA! After all, that was its title until the Romans changed it to “Syria Palestina”, after the Jewish Revolt that ended at Masada. It was changed to humiliate the Jews further.
All of the ancient civilizations called it thus. Even the Egyptians called it ‘Judea’, & it was part of their Empire..
